    This study aims to determine the technical know Bali farming barking and barking analyzing farm income Bali ( Sallacca edulis Reinw) in the village of Batu Nindan Basarang district . Time research was conducted from 4th June to 30th November 2012. The types of data collected in this study included primary data and secondary data. This research method using a survey method . Sampling was done using purposive sampling technique, 30 of 86 people barking Bali farmer in the village of Batu Nindan . The variables observed in this study is technical farm income analysis barking and barking Bali in the village of Batu Nindan. Research results indicate that farming Technical Bali barking in the village of Batu Nindan done extensively . The average total cost of Farm Bali barking amounted Rp.3.989.006 with average revenues of Rp.3.822.567 and the average income of Rp.3.400.324 . Bali barking farming held in the village of Batu Nindan inefficient or not feasible to be developed with an average value of RCR Rp.0 , 96 , - ( < 1

    The Study substitute Fish Meal with Maggot Meal Black Soldier Fly (Hermetia illucens) Appearance Against Quail (Coturnix coturnix japonica) was carried out at 36 Jalan Palasari Waas RT. 1 RW. 4 Rural District Sukasari Pameungpeuk Bandung regency, West Java, which runs from January to February 2012. The research aims to determine the substitution of fish meal with maggot meal Black Soldier Fly (Hermetia illucens) the appearance of the female quail in the growth phase. The design used in this study is completely randomized design (CRD) with four replications per treatment 5 replicates consisted of 10 female quails so that the whole 200 tail. As for treatment, namely R1 (16.00% + 0% fish meal flour maggot), R2 (12.00% + 6.47% fish meal flour maggot), R3 (8.00% + 12.94% fish meal flour maggot ), R4 (4.00% + 19.41% fish meal flour maggot), and R5 (0% fish meal flour maggot + 25.88%), with an average initial body weight of 48.01 grams / tail-old 3 weeks. The results showed that the substitution of fish meal with maggot meal significantly (P <0.05) in female quail consumption. While the weight gain, feed conversion and weight gain end female quail had no significant effect (P <0,05)

    Effect of different concentration of fish oil in skim milk-egg yolk extenders on post- thawed semen qualities of Kalang swamp buffalo bull

    Objective: To explore the effect of fish oil at different concentrations on post-thawed semen of Kalang swamp buffalo. Methods: A total of 4 Kalang swamp buffalo bulls with 3-5 years of age and weighed about 340-360 kg were slected. Semen was regularly collected from these buffalo bulls once a week by an artificial vagina. Fish oil was supplementary at the dosages of 0 mg (control), 50 mg, 100 mg, 150 mg, and 200 mg to the extender (skim milk-egg yolk). Fresh, pre-freezing and frozen semen were thawed at 37 °C and evaluated for motility, viability, morphology, and plasma integrity of membrane. Results: The study results indicated that before freezing, supplementation of fish oil at the dose of 150 mg in the extender had significantly motility. And a significant (P<0.05) increase was observed in viability and motility of post-thawed semen at the dose of 150 mg fish oil, which was in difference with other treatment groups. Conclusions: Addition of 150 mg fish oil in the extender could be positive for the enhancement of the quality of post-thawed semen of Kalang swamp buffaloes
