GPSP: Graph Partition and Space Projection based Approach for Heterogeneous Network Embedding

In this paper, we propose GPSP, a novel Graph Partition and Space Projection based approach, to learn the representation of a heterogeneous network that consists of multiple types of nodes and links. Concretely, we first partition the heterogeneous network into homogeneous and bipartite subnetworks. Then, the projective relations hidden in bipartite subnetworks are extracted by learning the projective embedding vectors. Finally, we concatenate the projective vectors from bipartite subnetworks with the ones learned from homogeneous subnetworks to form the final representation of the heterogeneous network. Extensive experiments are conducted on a real-life dataset. The results demonstrate that GPSP outperforms the state-of-the-art baselines in two key network mining tasks: node classification and clustering.Comment: WWW 2018 Poste

Triangular BĂŠzier sub-surfaces on a triangular BĂŠzier surface

This paper considers the problem of computing the BĂŠzier representation for a triangular sub-patch on a triangular BĂŠzier surface. The triangular sub-patch is defined as a composition of the triangular surface and a domain surface that is also a triangular BĂŠzier patch. Based on de Casteljau recursions and shifting operators, previous methods express the control points of the triangular sub-patch as linear combinations of the construction points that are constructed from the control points of the triangular BĂŠzier surface. The construction points contain too many redundancies. This paper derives a simple explicit formula that computes the composite triangular sub-patch in terms of the blossoming points that correspond to distinct construction points and then an efficient algorithm is presented to calculate the control points of the sub-patch

The Interactive Relationship between Sci-Tech Innovation and Economic Growth: An Empirical Study Based on China Macroeconomic Data

In the past decades, China has embraced a rapid development in its economy. And the sci-tech innovation has also gained unprecedented prosperity during the period. The progress in sci-tech innovation has boosted larger output in multiple industries of China, and thus having great contributions to the dramatic improvement in China’s economy. The studies on the relationship between sci-tech innovation and economic growth has long been existed, however, most of which only focus on the one-way research, namely the effects of sci-tech innovation on the economic growth. Based on this status quo, this paper innovates from the research method to focus on the interactive relationship between sci-tech innovation and economic growth, establishing a VAR model to analyze their immediate structural relationship and long-term dynamic relationship, and finds out that the effects of sci-tech innovation on economic growth are immediate positive, while those on sci-tech innovation achievements appear in the long run. In the last part, this paper puts forward policy suggestions on the maximization of sci-tech innovation and economic growth based on the results

A Study on the Effectiveness of the Equity Incentive Plan of Zhuhai Private Enterprises: Based on the Case of Livzon Group

    Get PDF
Stem from the United States of 1950s, equity incentive plan was introduced into China as a method for enterprises to solve the principal-agent problem and to motivate key technical staffs to speed up innovation after reform and opening-up. This article is divided into three main parts. Firstly a broad introduction to all the Zhuhai enterprises that have carried out the equity incentive plan and analysis on their implementation from five different perspectives , namely rate of progress、industry distribution、pattern、source of stock and the period of validity. Then based on the case of Livzon Group, we conduct survey on both its financial performance and non-financial performance and discuss the effectiveness of its plan by data analysis, according to which we could draw a conclusion that the equity incentive plan works well in Livzon Group, then we continue a further study on the reason behind it. In the last part, feasible policy suggestion is provided from respectively government and enterprise side on the basis of the analysis of the former two parts

Application and Exploration of FLUENT Software in the Teaching of Engineering Thermophysics

    Get PDF
Engineering thermophysics is a basic discipline for energy majors, but this course emphasizes the theoretical level and is difficult to understand. Students\u27 enthusiasm and participation in the learning process are low, and it is difficult to understand the course. Accordingly, the research team attempts to introduce Fluent software into the course teaching exploration. Specifically, Fluent software is adopted to provide a reliable physics teaching model, and to change the traditional teaching mode, so as to improve students\u27 daily learning ability and practical ability, and ultimately enable students to learn and practice

Can sub-GeV dark matter coherently scatter on the electrons in the Atom?

A novel detection of sub-GeV dark matter is proposed in the paper. The electron cloud is boosted by the dark matter and emits an electron when it is dragged back by the heavy nucleus, namely the coherent scattering of the electron cloud of the atom. The survey in the X-ray diffraction shows that the atomic form factors are much more complicate than the naive consideration. The results of the relativistic Hartree-Fock(RHF) method give non-trivial shapes of the atoms. The detailed calculation of the recoil of the electron cloud, the kinetics, the fiducial cross section and the corresponding calculation of detection rate are given analytically. The numerical results show that the limits of the RHF form factors are much stringent than the recoil of a single electron, almost 4 orders stronger, and also gives tight limitations comparing to the Migdal effect below about several hundred MeV. The physical picture and the corresponding results are promising and need further explorations.Comment: 14 pages, 8 figures, accepted by Communications in Theoretical Physic
