Geometry Dependent Current-Voltage Characteristics of ZnO Nanostructures: A Combined Nonequilibrium Green’s Function and Density Functional Theory Study
Current-voltage I-V characteristics of different ZnO nanostructures were studied using a combined nonequilibrium Green’s function and density functional theory techniques with the two-probe model. It was found that I-V characteristics of ZnO nanostructures depend strongly on their geometry. For wurtzite ZnO nanowires, currents decrease with increasing lengths under the same applied voltage conditions. The I-V characteristics are similar for single-walled ZnO nanotubes and triangular cross section ZnO nanowires but they are different from I-V characteristics of hexagonal cross section ZnO nanowires. Finally, our results are discussed in the context of calculated transmission spectra and densities of states
Robust Stabilization and H
This paper is concerned with the problem of robust stabilization and H∞ control for a class of uncertain neural networks. For the robust stabilization problem, sufficient conditions are derived based on the quadratic convex combination property together with Lyapunov stability theory. The feedback controller we design ensures the robust stability of uncertain neural networks with mixed time delays. We further design a robust H∞ controller which guarantees the robust stability of the uncertain neural networks with a given H∞ performance level. The delay-dependent criteria are derived in terms of LMI (linear matrix inequality). Finally, numerical examples are provided to show the effectiveness of the obtained results
Holographic Mutual Information of Two Disjoint Spheres
We study quantum corrections to holographic mutual information for two
disjoint spheres at a large separation by using the operator product expansion
of the twist field. In the large separation limit, the holographic mutual
information is vanishing at the semiclassical order, but receive quantum
corrections from the fluctuations. We show that the leading contributions from
the quantum fluctuations take universal forms as suggested from the boundary
CFT. We find the universal behavior for the scalar, the vector, the tensor and
the fermionic fields by treating these fields as free fields propagating in the
fixed background and by using the 1/n prescription. In particular, for the
fields with gauge symmetries, including the massless vector boson and massless
graviton, we find that the gauge parts in the propagators play indispensable
role in reading the leading order corrections to the bulk mutual information.Comment: 37 pages, 1 figure; significant revisions, corrected the discussions
on the computations of the mutual information in CFT, conclusions unchange
Research on Modeling of Variable Milling Force Coefficient for Ruled Surface in Flank Milling Process
AbstractWhile considering the ruled surface geometry characteristics and its effect on milling force, the expression of variable start and exit radial immersion angles and axial cutter position are proposed through the analysis of contact area between cutter and workpiece in the flank milling process. The variable milling force coefficient model is established, and its result can be variable with the change of the curvature radius. The experimental analysis and solving results of the model are proposed. At last, the variable milling force coefficient model is verified by a flank milling force simulation result
Propagation Path Loss Prediction Model of Multi-Sensor Network in Forest
AbstractDuring the process of carrying on the master plan and design of multi-sensor network in forest, We must consider the coverage of the signal, how to find the best position, through predicting it from launching and checking to accepting the loss value of the electromagnetic wave checked, Can carry on planning and design. Based on the radio wave propagation loss model in free space and the characteristics of radio wave propagation in forest, this paper proposes the generalized predicting model of radio wave propagation loss, To validate the model, a radio propagation measurement campaign was carried out, The modeling results by measuring the parameters of some trees are good agreement with that of the literatur
