Influence of store attributes on shopping intentions in factory outlet malls

This paper examines the effect of eight types of consumer decision-making styles and shopping behaviour on future shopping intentions at factory outlet malls. Results indicate that six out of eight decision-making styles are positively related of future shopping intentions. Conclusions drawn from the current study's findings and their implications for consumer decision-making and shopping behaviour are discussed

Nonlinear ER effects in an ac applied field

The electric field used in most electrorheological (ER) experiments is usually quite high, and nonlinear ER effects have been theoretically predicted and experimentally measured recently. A direct method of measuring the nonlinear ER effects is to examine the frequency dependence of the same effects. For a sinusoidal applied field, we calculate the ac response which generally includes higher harmonics. In is work, we develop a multiple image formula, and calculate the total dipole moments of a pair of dielectric spheres, embedded in a nonlinear host. This permission does not cover any third party copyrighted material which may appear in the work requested.In order to investigate how the use of robots may impact everyday tasks, 12 participants interacted with a University of Hertfordshire Sunflower robot over a period of 8 weeks in the university’s Robot House.. Participants performed two constrained tasks, one physical and one cognitive , 4 times over this period. Participant responses were recorded using a variety of measures including the System Usability Scale and the NASA Task Load Index . The use of the robot had an impact on the experienced workload of the participants differently for the two tasks, and this effect changed over time. In the physical task, there was evidence of adaptation to the robot’s behaviour. For the cognitive task, the use of the robot was experienced as more frustrating in the later weeks.Peer reviewedFinal Published versio

Finite Temperature Phase Diagram in Rotating Bosonic Optical Lattice

Finite temperature phase boundary between superfluid phase and normal state is analytically derived by studying the stability of normal state in rotating bosonic optical lattice. We also prove that the oscillation behavior of critical hopping matrix directly follows the upper boundary of Hofstadter butterfly as the function of effective magnetic field.Comment: 10 pages, 2 figure
