    Interactive Physically-Based Simulation of Roadheader Robot

    Roadheader is an engineering robot widely used in underground engineering and mining industry. Interactive dynamics simulation of roadheader is a fundamental problem in unmanned excavation and virtual reality training. However, current research is only based on traditional animation techniques or commercial game engines. There are few studies that apply real-time physical simulation of computer graphics to the field of roadheader robot. This paper aims to present an interactive physically-based simulation system of roadheader robot. To this end, an improved multibody simulation method based on generalized coordinates is proposed. First, our simulation method describes robot dynamics based on generalized coordinates. Compared to state-of-the-art methods, our method is more stable and accurate. Numerical simulation results showed that our method has significantly less error than the game engine in the same number of iterations. Second, we adopt the symplectic Euler integrator instead of the conventional fourth-order Runge-Kutta (RK4) method for dynamics iteration. Compared with other integrators, our method is more stable in energy drift during long-term simulation. The test results showed that our system achieved real-time interaction performance of 60 frames per second (fps). Furthermore, we propose a model format for geometric and robotics modeling of roadheaders to implement the system.     How to Make The Fiscal policies Greener in China?——Based on The Perspective of Environmental Macroeconomics

    From the perspective of environmental macroeconomics, in addition to environmental equilibrium effected by environmental policies, the fiscal policy have an impact on the environment equilibrium. On this basis, this paper constructs a RBC model with environmental equilibrium, that contains different financing mode of government environmental expenditure, within which incorporating fiscal spending shocks, labor income tax rate shock, capital income tax rate shock and environmental tax shock. Utilizing the historically macroeconomic data during 1978 to 2014, this paper estimate the long-run steady-state of macroeconomic and environmental variables, then simulate short-run fluctuation of these macro-variables. The results show that:(1) government environmental expenditure being arranged in the general budget, taxing emission achieve the "double dividend" that output increase by 0.13%, and the stock of carbon dioxide fall by 1.1%; (2) changes of environmental tax rates is one important source of volatility in the stock of carbon dioxide, volatility contribution rate of 87%; (3) changes in fiscal policy have a significant impact on short-term fluctuations of carbon dioxide, and the environmental effects of direction caused by expansionary fiscal policy depend on the fiscal policy type. Based on the above conclusions, this paper suggests the introduction of environmental taxes as quickly as possible, government environmental expenditure take the general tax financing mode, and a combination of modest increase in fiscal expenditure, reducing labor income tax rate and inceasing capital income tax rate in order to promote green development during "Thirteen Five Plan" period

    Environmental Policy and China’s Macroeconomic Dynamics Under Uncertainty---Based on The NK Model with Distortionary Taxation

    This paper, by building a New Keynesian dynamic general equilibrium model that combines with distortionary taxation, pollution decision of firms, and environmental quality evolution under uncertainty, analyzes shocks from markets and taxation policies on macro-economy and environmental quality under different environmental policies circumstance theoretically. Further, parameters are calibrated on the basis of macroeconomic and pollution data from 1978 to 2014 in China as well as results from completed researches of others, and accordingly simulates differentiated response of macro-economy and environment to altering policy circumstance. Empirical results indicate that: (1) carrying out various environmental policies indeed causes economic loss, for which economic costs in average reach 0.1950% with 1% reduction of pollution elimination while change of economic costs (0.11149) under implement of pollution-discharge-permit system; (2) various environment polices play the role as automatic stabilizers for halting aggregate fluctuation, the most magnificently effect of decreasing instability relatively comes from Discharge Permit System in particular; (3) rising obstacles on price transmission lead to decreasing pollution-cut struggle from enterprises and increasing pollution emission; (4) taxation polices play effective roles for encouraging firms to participate on emission-cut activities. Potential suggestions, hence, root in: (1) putting environment regulation into effect fast, in which Discharge Permit police should be dominant and others be complementary; (2) carrying out marketization reforms by removing price intervention and posing fundamental effect of markets; (3) putting leading function of fiscal and taxation polices into effect by realizing green taxation institution

    Adiponectin improves coronary no-reflow injury by protecting the endothelium in rats with type 2 diabetes mellitus.

    To determine the effect of adiponectin (APN) on the coronary no-reflow (NR) injury in rats with Type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM), 80 male Sprague-Dawley rats were fed with a high-sugar-high-fat diet to build a T2DM model. Rats received vehicle or APN in the last week and then were subjected to myocardial ischemia reperfusion (MI/R) injury. Endothelium-dependent vasorelaxation of the thoracic aorta was significantly decreased and serum levels of endothelin-1 (ET-1), intercellular cell adhesion molecule-1 (ICAM-1) and vascular cell adhesion molecule-1 (VCAM-1) were noticably increased in T2DM rats compared with rats without T2DM. Serum APN was positively correlated with the endothelium-dependent vasorelaxation, but negatively correlated with the serum level of ET-1. Treatment with APN improved T2DM-induced endothelium-dependent vasorelaxation, recovered cardiac function, and decreased both NR size and the levels of ET-1, ICAM-1 and VCAM-1. Hypoadiponectinemia was associated with the aggravation of coronary NR in T2DM rats. APN could alleviate coronary NR injury in T2DM rats by protecting the endothelium and improving microcirculation
