On skein relations in class S theories
Loop operators of a class S theory arise from networks on the corresponding
Riemann surface, and their operator product expansions are given in terms of
the skein relations, that we describe in detail in the case of class S theories
of type A. As two applications, we explicitly determine networks corresponding
to dyonic loops of super Yang-Mills, and compute the

polarization vs. anomalies in the leptoquark models
Polarization measurements in are
useful to check consistency in new physics explanations for the and
anomalies. In this paper, we investigate the and
polarizations and focus on the new physics contributions to the fraction
of a longitudinal polarization (), which is
recently measured by the Belle collaboration , in model-independent manner and in each single leptoquark model (, and ) that can naturally explain the
anomalies. It is found that severely restricts deviation from the Standard Model (SM) prediction of
in the leptoquark models:
[0.43, 0.44], [0.42, 0.48], and [0.43, 0.47] are predicted as a range of
for the , , and leptoquark
models, respectively, where the current data of is satisfied
at level. It is also shown that the polarization observables
can much deviate from the SM predictions. The Belle II experiment, therefore,
can check such correlations between and the polarization

Unstable pseudo-isotopies of spherical 3-manifolds
In our previous works, we constructed diffeomorphisms of compact 4-manifolds
by surgeries on theta-graphs embedded in . In this paper, we consider
the case , where is a spherical 3-manifold. For some of such
, we compute lower bounds of the ranks of the abelian groups
. We study the behavior of the elements
constructed by theta-graph surgery under the suspension functor in stable
pseudo-isotopy theory, and their triviality in the space of block

Properties of Concrete Using Treated Low-Class Recycled Coarse Aggregate and Blast Furnace Slag Sand
Since high quality natural aggregates are becoming scarce, it is important that industrial recycled products and by-products are used as aggregates for concrete. In Japan, the use of recycled aggregate (RG) is encouraged. Since, strength and durability of recycled aggregate concrete is lower than that of normal aggregate concrete, the use of recycled aggregate has not been significant. In order to improve physical properties of concrete using recycled coarse aggregate, blast furnace slag sand has been proposed. Recently, blast furnace slag sand is expected to improve durability, freezing, and thawing damage of concrete in Japan. Properties of fresh and hardened concrete bleeding, compressive strength, and resistance to freezing and thawing which are caused by the rapid freezing and thawing test using liquid nitrogen is a high loader than the JIS A 1148 A method that were investigated. As a result, concrete using treated low-class recycled coarse aggregate and 50% or 30% replacement of crushed sand with blast furnace slag sand showed the best results, in terms of bleeding, resistance to freezing and thawing
Toward Introduction of Immunity-based Model to Continuous Behavior-based User Authentication on Smart Phone
AbstractSmart phone stores a lot of important private information, so that user authentication is increasingly necessary to prevent attacks by illegal users who are not the owner of the smart phone. Password authentication or biometrics can be generally applied only on login. After the authentication is passed, not only the legal owner but also illegal users freely use the smart phone. Therefore we are trying to develop a behavior-based user authentication system to continuously check the user activities after login. The developing system can extract many operational and behavioral features characteristic of user by multiple sensors; for example, touch screen, accelerometer, microphone, and GPS sensor. And then it can combine the authentication results from the multiple sensors because a single sensor may produce poor authentication accuracy. In this paper, we report the ongoing results of our system, that is, the experimental results from user authentication using touch operational features, and some features extracted from accelerometer. We also discuss the introduction of immunity-based model to our system to integrate the authentication results from the multiple sensors

We have shown previously that neutrophils and small population of human monocytes have a glycosylphosphatidylinositol (GPI) -anchored protein, GPI-80 on their surface. In a study of neutrophils, we reported that GPI-80 regulates the adherence and migration. In this study, we examined the functions of GPI-80 in monocytes. Treatment of monocytes with monoclonal antibody (mAb) to GPI-80 enhanced pinocytosis of fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC)-labeled dextran but not that of lucifer yellow and low-density lipoprotein. This treatment neither changed phagocytosis, adherence nor reactive oxygen production of monocytes. These results suggest that GPI-80 modulates fluid phase macropinocytosis of high molecular weight molecules, but not that of low molecular weight ones, clathrin-dependent pinocytosis, phagocytosis, adherence and reactive oxygen production. Treatment of neutrophils with mAbs to GPI-80 did not change macropinocytosis of FITC-labeled dextran, suggesting that the functions of GPI-80 on macropinocytosis of high molecular weight molecules are different between neutrophils and monocytes. This study, first reported GPI-80 function on monocytes, implies that GPI-80 may be one of the molecules associated with macropinocytosis on monocytes.
