    The text presents an overview of educational programmes held with the exhibition project Toys – Childhood Forever. The programmes were held for different groups of museum visitors: kindergarten groups, elementary and secondary school students, university students, old-age pensioners, members of vulnerable social groups, adult individual visitors and families. The key elements of learning are interactions through play and emotional engagement as essential factors of museum experience

    The Croatian Government declared 2021 the Year of Reading based on the proposal by the Ministry of Culture and Media. This implemented the measures of the Action Plan of the National Strategy to Promote Reading, adopted in 2017, that contribute to the development of reading culture and encourage reading with pleasure and understanding.     Članak daje prikaz edukativnih programa održanih tijekom godine dana (od listopada 2016. do listopada 2017. godine) za specifičnu skupinu korisnika Etnografskoga muzeja – osobe s poremećajima iz spektra autizma. Opisane edukativne aktivnosti naslanjaju se na dotadašnje programe za tu korisničku skupinu koji se provode uglavnom u radioničkom obliku rada. Važan je dio teksta evaluacija navedenih programa koju je provelo stručno osoblje Centra za autizam, što može korisno poslužiti u osmišljavanju i unapređenju daljnjih programa za osobe s poremećajima iz spektra autizma.The article provides an overview of educational programmes held during one year (from October 2016 to October 2017) for a specific group of users of the Ethnographic Museum – persons suffering from autism spectrum disorder. The presented educational activities were performed against the backdrop of the previously developed programmes for this specific user group and they primarily comprised of workshops. An important segment of the text is the evaluation of the previously mentioned programmes by the expert staff at the Centre for Autism, which can be used in the development and improvement of further programmes for persons from autism spectrum disorder
