Effect of transplantation of allogeneic multipotent mesenchymal bone marrow stromal cells on regeneration of liver after extended hepatectomy (experimental study)
Β© 2018 Human Stem Cell Institute. All rights reserved. Multipotent mesenchymal stromal cells can be a drug for treatment of acute liver failure. The purpose of this study was to assess the effect of multipotent mesenchymal stromal cells on the proliferative, mitotic activity of hepatocytes and morphometric criteria for the regeneration of liver parenchyma after 68 % partial hepatectomy in rats. The number of mitosis, PCNA positive cells, diameter of nucleus of hepatocytes, size of hepatocytes, nuclear-cytoplasmic ratio (NCR), the area of hepatic lobules were evaluated on 1, 2, 4, 14 days after surgery. The results of the study showed that intravenous administration of allogeneic mesenchymal multipotent stromal cells from bone marrow after extended hepatectomy increase the number of proliferating hepatocytes (PCNA positive cells), but does not affect the number of mitoses, the diameter of the nucleus, the area of hepatocytes, NCR and hepatic lobules. Probably, at this time, regeneration proceeds primarily through an intracellular mechanism

Fiscal policy plays a crucial role in ensuring economic growth and development in the country and overcoming economic recessions. The subject of the research is the tax system in the Republic of Armenia. The study aims to identify and assess the impact of the fiscal policy on economic growth in the Republic of Armenia. Since the global financial crisis of 2008, the Armenian economy has been in stagnation, reaching pre-crisis GDP levels only in 2018. Both theory and practice point to the ambiguous nature of the impact of fiscal policy on economic growth. At the same time, the 2020 crisis caused by the pandemic exacerbated the situation by focusing the attention of economists on fiscal policy to stimulate the real sector of the economy, which justifies the relevance of the current study. The paperβs novelty lies in assessing the impact of certain types of taxes on the economic growth rates in Armenia. To achieve the goal of the study, the authors use such methods as a comparative analysis of foreign studies and systemic and statistical analysis. To econometrically assess the impact of taxes on economic growth in the country, a vector autoregression (VAR) model was applied. As a result of the study, the authors found that both tax regulation in general and the individual taxes are restrictive in nature and have a negative impact on economic growth in the country. The world will certainly remember 2020 as a serious challenge in all aspects of human life. At the same time, while developed countries, despite the severity of the economic crisis, have sufficient reserves to help their economies go through the recovery growth, developing economies turned out to be the most vulnerable. This article describes the consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic for the Armenian economy from the point of view of the most critical factors that have determined the countryβs economic development over the past decade. Research objective. The key goal of the study was to try to identify and assess the economic consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic in Armenia. Data and methods. The study surveys macroeconomic indicators in Armenia over the past six months. The analysis is based on the statistical data characterizing the economic situation in Armenia and takes into account the key sectors of the economy as well as its weaknesses. Results. Some sectors of the Armenian economy will be very vulnerable to the crisis resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic. Conclusion. The main conclusion of the study is that at the moment the economic system of Armenia is at the stage of stagnation and, in the light of the pandemic, will move to the stage of economic recession in the medium term.ΠΠΊΡΡΠ°Π»ΡΠ½ΠΎΡΡΡ. The aim of the study is to reveal if there is a coordination of fiscal and monetary policies in Armenia, as well as to assess its impact on economic growth in the country. Methods used: statistical analysis, logistic regressions, mathematical modeling. The authors analyzed the economic growth rates and annual GDP growth per capita in Armenia from 1990 to 2018. They described the model of coordination of fiscal and monetary regulation. The relationship and interdependence between the monetary and fiscal regulation mechanisms are represented by mathematical equations. Provided are the calculations for the optimal values of fiscal and monetary indicators, as well as economic indicators for Nash equilibrium. The study results showed that fiscal and monetary regulation in Armenia is ineffective; there is no coordination of regulatory mechanisms, which is detrimental to the economic growth rate.
