Influencia de un sistema de gestión en los índices de seguridad de la empresa Joweers 2017

RESUMEN En la empresa Joweers han ocurrido 7 accidentes en el año 2016. No cuenta con un Sistema de Gestión de Seguridad, pero ha elaborado algunos documentos exigidos por la empresa cliente, sin embargo, incumple con sus objetivos trazados de acuerdo a sus necesidades, presentando valores de índices elevados asociados con la ocurrencia de accidentes, reportados por el área de Seguridad de la Empresa. Por tal motivo, la presente investigación busca disminuir el valor de los índices en el periodo mayo del 2016 a enero del 2017. Nos basamos en el desarrollo de nuevos indicadores y mejora de los ya existentes, y a partir de su cumplimiento, seguimiento y control se analizó el grado de influencia que ejercen sobre los índices. Esta tesis se enmarcó en el tipo de investigación No experimental Correlacional Transversal, fundamentada en el uso de técnicas e instrumentos diseñados para recolectar datos; reportes de accidentes, encuesta de satisfacción, Listas de Cotejo, y determinar las fallas de los indicadores que dieron origen a dichos accidentes. De los datos obtenidos se determinó que los trabajadores no se encontraban conformes con el Sistema de Gestión puesto que lo calificaron con 9.71, en una escala del 1 al 20. Se evaluaron los indicadores a utilizar y con la implementación de las mejoras se obtuvo un avance de la funcionalidad en la empresa de 39.4% a 94.8%, consiguiendo una reducción mensual progresiva de hasta 100% de los valores de índices de Seguridad del mes de mayo al mes de julio del 2016, conservándose en cero hasta enero del 2017.ABSTRACT In the company Joweers has happened 7 accidents in the year 2016.
