ΠΠΈΠ°Π³Π½ΠΎΡΡΠΈΠΊΠ° ΡΡΠΈΡΡΠΎΡΠΈΡΠ°ΡΠ½ΡΡ Π½Π°ΡΡΡΠ΅Π½ΠΈΠΉ ΠΏΡΠΈ ΠΎΡΡΡΠΎΠΌ Π³Π΅ΠΏΠ°ΡΠΈΡΠ΅ Ρ ΡΠΎΠ±Π°ΠΊ
Acute hepatitis is one of the most serious and frequent diseases in dogs capable of leading an animal to death. The disease often occurs and accounts for up to 15% of all the emerging pathology in dogs. This factor requires not only a detailed clinical evaluation of the condition, but also an understanding of its pathogenesis, which isan important basis for increasing the effectiveness of the disease treatment. Despite the developed treatment regimens, complications and death of dogs against the background of acute hepatitis is an urgent problem in veterinary medicine. Significant changes in the deterioration of dogs with acute hepatitis, even mild severity, have negative changes in cytoarchitecture and aggregation of erythrocytes, which apparently do not have pronounced species and age features. The work was carried out based on a survey of 17 metis dogs with acute mild hepatitis at the age of 7A9 months. Blood samples for the study were taken on the first day of treatment, taking into account the history and clinical signs. The samples were taken into account when confirming the diagnosisby laboratory tests. Subsequently, the animals received necessary correction from the condition with the help of symptomatic and pathogenetic therapy. The control group is represented by blood tests of 5 healthy dogs aged 7A9 months. It was established that development of the clinical picture of hepatitis in dogs, forms significant negative shifts in erythrocyte indices. The structure of erythrocytes undergoes considerable deformation, in their blood the number of discocytes and normocytes decreases. In addition, there are echinocytes, schizocytes, a large number of small erythrocyte aggregates in blood. All this indicates that even mild hepatitis causes the development of a complex erythron reconstitution. Number of red blood cells with Jollyβs bodies increases. Studies of the morphofunctional characteristics of erythrocytes in canine purulent endometritis conservative treatment are performed. It is established that the canine purulent endometritis development affects the red blood parameters corresponding to the dynamics of the disease. Analysis of morphological changes in erythrocytes showed the presence of abnormal forms of erythrocytes, which arise from the high intoxication level in the organism caused by accumulation of pus and bacterial endotoxins. This paper presents a comparative description of the treatment regimens of dogs with diagnosed iron deficiency anemia, which has developed against the background of hookworm parasitism. With oral route exposure of iron product complex, group B vitamins, copper, cobalt and amino acids to puppies with moderate iron-deficiency anemia, erythrocytes, hematocrit, hemoglobin and color index by the 20th day were lower than in puppies who received a course of the drug intramuscularly. In animals with severe iron-deficiency anemia, intravenous administration of the drug on the 20th day from the start of therapy showed a better recovery effect than intramuscular administration. However, the indicators of sick puppies did not reach the level of puppies in the control group. When studying the morphology of erythrocytes in sick animals, anisocytosis and poikilocytosis were noted before the 20th day. Due to the development of modern diagnostic methods, spinal cord tumors are increasingly detected. Each anatomical localization is characterized by certain types of neoplasia. Thus, statistically osteosarcoma, chondrosarcoma, fibrosarcoma, plasmocytoma and multiple myeloma are located extradural. Intradural-extramedullary meningiomas, tumors of peripheral nerve roots, nephroblastomas and histocytic sarcomas are more common. The main treatment of this pathology is surgical treatment, the purpose of which is to decompress the spinal cord and its roots. The aim of this study was to analyze the incidence of spinal and spinal cord tumors in animals, as well as their survival after surgical removal. The paper presents a method of surgical treatment of cervical malformation (CSM) of the cervical spine in dogs and ways of functional compensation of this syndrome. A new treatment tactic has been developed that allows one to fundamentally influence the long-term prognosis of patients with CSM. The optimal method of distraction and stabilization of the cervical vertebrae in animals with cervical spondylomyelopathy was determined, methods of technical complexity, risk of complications, and long-term results were compared. In this case, the combination of TTA cage and monocortical screws with bone cement, in our opinion, is optimal today, since it is not so technically difficult, in comparison with other methods, there are less iatrogenic intraoperative risks. Special aspects of the pathohistological diagnostics of familial shar-pei amyloidosis
Introduction: Familial Shar-Pei amyloidosis is an autoinflammatory systemic disease characterized by pathological synthesis of the fibrillary protein in the cells of the reticuloendothelial system, followed by amyloid formation. The purpose of our research is mainly focused on the investigation of specific structural histological changes in kidneys, liver, and spleen of the Shar-Pei dogs suffering from familial amyloidosis. Materials and Methods: The studies included autopsy and post-mortem examination of the Shar-Pei dogs with the presumptive diagnosis of familial amyloidosis or other diagnoses. Samples of kidney, liver, and spleen tissues of all cadavers were collected for histological examination. Results: Our studies showed that amyloid was formed within the ground substance of the connective tissue. Early amyloid deposits were observed in the spleen samples, providing the pathomorphological marker of the initial stage of the process generalization, whereas during the later stages, amyloid was found in kidneys, liver, and myocardium. Gradually increasing amyloid deposits lead to compression and atrophy of the parenchymal cells, sclerosis, and multiple organ dysfunction syndrome, manifesting as a wide range of clinical signs. Discussion: As a result of the conducted post-mortem examination, we have revealed systemic amyloidosis in the cadavers of the animals, initially admitted with various pathologies, which proves the importance and relevance of timely diagnostics, detection of clinical manifestations, and latent forms of the condition.
