A STUDY ON SOIL STABILIZATION USING FLY ASH

    Get PDF
The objective of this paper is to determine the optimum fly ash content at which soil behavior is improved. Soil improvement is termed as soil stabilization. Soil stabilization depends on factors such as unconfined compression, cohesion, shear load, consolidation and permeability of soil and CBR value of soil. Fly ash is a thermal waste. Nearly half of the fly ash generated is not been used, hence usage of fly ash will reduce waste. Test conducted were sieve analysis, specific gravity, standard proctor compaction, unconfined compression, direct shear, free swell index, variable head permeability and consolidation for black cotton soil. Test also was conducted on soil replaced with fly ash in the level of 5%, 10% and 15%. Among the various replacement tried out, better results were observed for soil replaced with 10% of fly ash. Beyond the 10% level of replacement a reduction in performance was observed. Hence fly ash can be used for soil stabilization up to 10% replacement

The aim of this study is well stated to address in recent advances on probiotics in the past 50 years. Probiotics are the living cell organisms. It is a presence in human and animal gut. The probiotic organisms are natural antibiotics in the human-animal gut. This reviews the main role mechanisms of action in probiotics such as probiotics are antibiotics, probiotics in antibacterial activity, probiotic action in fish gut bacteria, dietary supplements of probiotics, gastrointestinal microbiota of fishes, microbial community of the gastrointestinal tract of fish, bioactive compounds from probiotic bacteria, probiotic uses in cancer therapeutic applications, and applications of probiotics. The most common probiotics are used in many ways such as boosting the immune system, inhibition of pathogenic organism, prevention of cancer, reduction of inflammatory bowel disease, reducing cholesterol level, and synthesis of Vitamin A. Nowadays, food products are mainly involved in chemical preservatives. These preservative agents are causing the disease to affect the human health. The probiotic food products are used to the development of human-animal health

Bioactive immunostimulants as health-promoting feed additives in aquaculture. A review

    No full text
Bioactive immunostimulants could be derived from different sources like plants, animals, microbes, algae, yeast, etc. Bioactive immunostimulants are the most significant role to enhance aquatic production, as well as the cost of this method, which is effective, non-toxic, and environment-friendly. These immunostimulants are supportive to increase the immune system, growth, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and disease resistance of aquatic animals' health and also improve aquatic animal feed. Diseases are mainly targeted to the immune system of aquatic organisms in such a way that different processes of bioactive immunostimulants progress are considered imperative techniques for the development of aquaculture production. Communicable infections are the main problem for aquaculture, while the mortality and morbidity connected with some outbreaks significantly limit the productivity of some sectors. Aquaculture is considered the mainly developing food production sector globally. Protein insists is an important issue in human nutrition. Aquaculture has been an exercise for thousands of years, and it has now surpassed capture fisheries as the most vital source of seafood in the world. Limited study reports are available to focal point on bioactive immunostimulants in aquaculture applications. This review report provides information on the nutritional administration of bioactive immunostimulants, their types, functions, and beneficial impacts on aquatic animals’ health as well as for the feed quality development in the aquaculture industry. The scope of this review combined to afford various kinds of natural derived bioactive molecules utilization and their beneficial effects in aquaculture applications

Real TIME Identification of Stamping Dies

The work is concern with real timeidentification of stamping dies using RFID tags, readerand optical laser distance sensor. Dies are part of Press machine and made up of metal. Due to randomly placed large quantity of dies in certain area, identifying particular die is main problem. In this technology RFID technology used for identifying diesand optical laser distance sensor used for locating die position.Wire communication is not possible in this system so wireless communication (IEEE 803.11) standard used. For storing data MY SQL database used and for programming PHP language used. To make system more user-friendly android application also developed. RFID based asset trackinghelps improve security as well as efficiency. The improved security and efficiency results in a significant return on investment ina very short duratio
