Aim: The current purpose of the survey is to completely evaluate parents’ attitudes, knowledge, and perceptions of myofunctional appliances. Materials and Methods: Parents in Chennai participated in this cross-sectional web-based questionnaire survey. Pilot study was carried out to determine the sample size, and 500 individuals were the final sample size. The 10 organized, predesigned, and validated questions are on awareness of myofunctional appliance. Results: The result of the survey showed that in 500 subjects, 79.8% were aware of skeletal problems. The proportion of parents willing to recommend the use of such treatments is about 70%, while 69% believe that myofunctional appliances are important in correcting skeletal problems. Background: This study was done to assess the level of knowledge and awareness about cervical cancer and its prevention among medical and nursing students.
Methods: This descriptive cross-sectional study was conducted during 2022 in a tertiary care hospital in Chennai. The study included 407 subjects; 224 medical students, and 183 nursing students and consent was obtained from each participant prior to the study. A questionnaire survey was used to assess their knowledge on cervical cancer and its prevention.

Medical students had more knowledge on risk factors. 84.38% of medical students and 43.72% of nursing students were aware that vaccine is available for the prevention of cervical cancer. Overall nursing students had limited knowledge on cervical cancer and its prevention. 51.79% of the medical students and 27.87% of the nursing students acquired their knowledge about HPV vaccine through social media. The uptake of HPV vaccine was very low among both medical and nursing students.
Conclusions: The results of our study demonstrate that there is a need for creating more awareness about cervical cancer and its prevention among medical and nursing students
Sringara and Bhakti - Relationship and Reciprocity in 21st Century Solo Bharata Natyam
This thesis looks at the relationship between sringara (aspect of love) and bhakti (aspect of devotion) with reference to the purported goal of the Bharata Natyam (South Indian classical dance) performance - the goal of union between the human and divine souls. The relationship between sringara and bhakti has been pertinent to Bharata Natyam over the last eighty years, and both branches of abhinaya (the art of expression in Indian classical dance forms) have stimulated debates and discussions especially during the time immediately before and after India gained independence. Once the historical evidence used in this debate has been described, the thesis focuses on the Chennai Dance and Music Festival over the last ten years to help locate the contemporary relevance of sringara and bhakti as well as the debate itself.
The study shows the inter-connected nature of the relationship between sringara and bhakti and the dependence of both these aspects on each other for existence in Bharata Natyam. The results of the study also highlight the place occupied by the historical debate between sringara and bhakti
