    The Mediating Role of Institutional Support on Relationship between Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and Student Satisfaction to Use eLearning during Covid-19 Pandemic: The Study of Private University in Malaysia

    In these two years, E-learning system has fully become the teaching tools of higher education institutions in Malaysia after lockdowns due to Covid-19 pandemic. Universities strive hard to work with E-learning platforms in providing an effective learning environment and rich online courses for university’s students, but many research findings show that the e-learning teaching outcome is not up to expectation. This study aims to assess the role of institutional support as a mediator on the relationship between variables of Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and satisfactions of university’s student to use e-learning during COVID-19 pandemic period. Respondents are among 344 students from different study major who had to study through e-learning education amidst pandemic in private university in Malaysia. The data collected used structures questionnaire and are analyzed by using SPSS. The result of this study reveals that institutional support has partially been mediated on the relationship between satisfaction of student and variables from TAM model namely perceive usefulness and perceive ease of use. The result of this study provides an idea for higher education institution to develop successful online platform in enhancing student’s learning satisfaction

    Digital entrepreneurial intention among private Technical and Vocational Education (TVET) students

    The study aims to determine the intention of Technical and Vocational Education (TVET) students to become digital entrepreneurs. To achieve this purpose, Ajzen theory of Planned Behaviour was applied. This quantitative study was conducted through distribution of survey questionnaires which involving 185 participants from one of the private TVET institution located in Kajang. The respondents were determined based on simple random sampling technique. SPSS version 23 was applied to conduct different tests such as multiple regression and descriptive statistics. The result showed that students were highly intended to become digital entrepreneur. Specifically, the knowledge gain from classes had shaped the student’s positive attitude and more self-confident to be an entrepreneur. The contribution of this study also expected to help the management to produce more digital entrepreneurs in era of Industry 4.0

    Predictor factors for collective leadership: a case of secondary schools

    The purpose of this paper was to study the factors predicting collective leadership in Malaysian secondary schools in Kuala Lumpur. The survey method is used to measure the variables, which influences collective leadership practices among 402 respondents from 103 government secondary schools in Kuala Lumpur. The findings utilized the inferential analysis – regression. The results show that school culture and sources of leadership efficacy are predictors for collective leadership. This Study focused on teachers from secondary government schools therefore results of this study cannot be projected liberally. The findings of the study supports the social exchange theory, which explains the relationship between the variables, studied. In addition, the findings of the research collaborate with Bandura’s (1986) theory with leadership elements. This paper introduces a new paradigm in research into sources of leadership efficacy and the concept of collective leadership

    A study on safety behaviour in selected glove production company

    This study was conducted to investigate the correlation between safety climate practices namely management commitment, safety training, workers’ involvement in safety, which serve as independent variables to the compliance to safety behaviour namely safety compliance and safety participation as the dependent variable. In this study, the data was collected from 133 samples who were the employees of local glove production company which includes management staff and non-management staff. Management staff refer to those who are in position as clerk, executives and managers. The findings revealed that safety climates practices consist of management commitment, safety training, workers’ involvement in safety significantly correlated with both safety behaviour dimension
