    Sealing mastics for road surfacing in Siberian regions

    This paper provides the results of the studies of polymer-bitumen sealing compounds for sealing seams and cracks in asphalt con-crete road. The polymers used were waste from Krasnoyarsk factories (rubber-fabric and butyl-rubber crumbs) and Tomsk factories (polyethylene waste and atactic polypropylene). Here we formulate the basic require-ments for sealing compounds applied in the Siberian regions. An experi-ment has been carried out with the use of the planning method, we pre-pared the compounds and determined their basic properties, as well as plot-ted the isolines of the compounds’ properties depending on the proportion-ing of mineral powder and polymer waste. Based on the analysis of the iso-lines and comparing the properties with the requirements, we selected the optimal compositions of the prepared sealing compounds and defined their core indicators. As a result of the research, the mastic based on butyl-rubber crumbs was chosen as the one meeting all the requirements by all the indicators. This paper reflects the results of the test surveys on pouring cracks in the road surface of Krasnoyarsk. The developed sealing com-pound has been adopted in production on the roads of Krasnoyarsk Territo-ry

    Исследовали влияние серы в составе серобитумного вяжущего на свойства асфальтобетона. На основе местных минеральных заполнителей, битума Ачинского НПЗ и технической серы Норильского комбината были рассчитаны и приготовлены составы дорожного асфальтобетона. В качестве минерального порошка применяли кеки - порошкообразные отходы Красноярского завода «Красцветмет». Для сравнения результатов был приготовлен состав асфальтобетона на «чистом» битуме. Исследования показали, что введение серы в асфальтобетон приводит не только к экономии битума, но и к повышению его основных физико- механических свойств. Рекомендованы составы сероасфальтобетона для производственного внедрения. Обоснованы основные технологические параметры заводской технологии приготовления сероасфальтобетона и укладки его в дорожное покрытие.An influence of sulfur as a part of sulfur-bitumen binder on the properties of asphalt-concrete was studied. On the base of local mineral filling aggregates such as the bitumen of Achinsk oil-refiner plant and Norilsk combine technical sulfur, composition of road asphalt-concrete was calculated and prepared. Cakes-powder-like wastes of Krasnoyarsk «Krastzvetmet» plant were used as mineral powders. To compare the results asphalt-concrete mixture based on «pure» bitumen was prepared. The research conducted has shown that an introduction of sulfur into asphalt-concrete leads not only to the economy of bitumen, but to an increase in basic physical and mechanical properties. The composition of sulfur-asphalt-concrete is recommended for production. The main technological parameters of plant technology of sulfur-asphalt-concrete preparation and its application in road pavement are substantiated

    The Ceramic Composition Using Vermiculite

    The possibility of obtaining effective wall materials and technological lightweight products for high-temperature insulation by introducing the expanded vermiculite into the ceramic mass is investigated. Mineralogy of used clays and vermiculites was studied. They are represented by minerals of the same class, and therefore weak adhesion of smooth surfaces of vermiculite grains is compensated by common genetic origin with the matrix of the basic material of the composite. Thermotechnical studies of the process of swelling of vermiculite in a quartz furnace showed that to obtain a relatively high mechanical strength of vermiculite grains, it is necessary to select the maximum temperature and the mode of swelling, so that the planar shape of vermiculite plates remains and there is no pronounced warping. The degree of thermal delamination is influenced by the particle size, the increase of which entails a deterioration in physical and mechanical properties. The introduction of a high percentage of vermiculite additives in the charge allows to obtain lightweight thermal insulation products

    The article discusses the main problems of energy saving and special features of design, construction and operation of residential buildings and industrial structures in extreme climatic conditions of the Northern territories. The impact of permafrost, seasonal thawing of soils and low bearing capacity of thawed soils on the choice of ways of arrangement of cities and pipelines in the Northern regions of Russia have been analyzed. There have been assessed the effect of climate change and the associated natural and man-made risks in the Far North on the development of a system of measures to ensure the reliability of energy facilities and options for emergency response. The solutions allowing to increase energy-saving capabilities of buildings and to reduce expenditures at their operation have been designated. Necessity of using non-traditional and renewable energy sources has been considered

    Влияние базальтового волокна на структуру пенобетона

    In this paper research of the structure of dispersely – reinforced basalt fibre cement stone with the purpose of getting foam concretes with improved performance characteristics is carried out. The results are given of the study of the processes of structure formation of the cement system, dispersеly – reinforced by basalt fibre, consisting of a number of thinner fibres that actively interact with cement matrix in a chemisorbed manner. Interaction takes place only in the surface layer, basalt fibre integrity being preserved in the cement stone. The effect of «fullness» is observed at that and availability of cement adhesive vacuum absorption is assumed. The suggestions mentioned are confirmed by physical and mechanical tests of foam concrete samples possessing enhanced durability, frost resistance and longevityПриводятся исследования структуры цементного камня, дисперсно-армированного базальтовой фиброй с целью получения пенобетонов с улучшенными эксплуатационными свойствами. Представлены результаты изучения процессов структурообразования цементной системы, дисперсно-армированной базальтовым волокном, которое состоит из множества еще более тонких волокон, хемосорбционно взаимодействующих с цементной матрицей. Взаимодействие происходит только в поверхностном слое с сохранением целостности базальтовой фибры в цементном камне. Отмечается эффект «наполненности» фибры. Вышеперечисленные предположения подтверждаются физико-механическими испытаниями пенобетонных образцов, обладающих повышенной прочностью, морозостойкостью и долговечность
