High energy hadrons in EAS at mountain altitude
An extensive simulation has been carried out to estimate the physical
interpretation of dynamical factors such as , in terms of high
energy interaction features, concentrated in the present analysis on the
average transverse momentum. It appears that the large enhancement observed for
versus primary energy, suggesting in earliest analysis a significant
rise of with energy, is only the result of the limited resolution of the
detectors and remains in agreement with a wide range of models used in
simulations.Comment: 13 pages, 6 PostScript figures, LaTeX Subm. to JPhys
Investigation of sensitivity of the suboptimal algorithm for target’s coordinate estimation to variations of parameters of the received radar signals
The paper describes a modified technique of sensitivity analysis of quasilinear algorithms for estimating targets’ coordinates with regard for the first terms in expansion describing the models of observation-message. An example is included illustrating the sensitivity analysis of the suboptimal algorithm of filtering
Joint probability densities of envelopes and phases in signal-noise mixture in the reception channel of a surveillance monopulse radar system
To check the hypothesis about independence of probability densities (PD) of envelopes and phases in the mixture of a determinate harmonic signal and quasiharmonic noise in the summation (Σ) and difference (Δ) channel of the reception part of the surveillance monopulse radar, expressions are derived for joint PD of these values in the form of products of single-dimensional PD in the Σ- and Δ-channels
