Salvation as the teleological vector in kierkegaard’s practice in christianity

© 2020, Ecozone, OAIMDD. All rights reserved. The dialectic of the relationship between Philosophy and Theology in S. Kierkegaard‟s work often hides multi-layered contents that oscillate in one direction or another in their emphasis. In this study, we focus on the theological grasp of the key concept of salvation to which Kierkegaard gives an irreplaceable place in the practice in Christianity. We assert that his theology is based on the existential dimension of the individual being rather than the rational prisms of Systematic theology that dominated in his times. Kierkegaard‟s absolute paradox in his theology of salvation becomes here not the starting point for argumentation in favour of Christianity, but rather the teleological perspective of the motivational mode for all levels of individual existence in its way to salvation embraced by eternity

Energy consumption forecasting for power supply companies

    No full text
The paper investigates an issue of the accuracy of energy consumption forecasts for power supply companies, which are an intermediary between the wholesale energy market and the end user. Therefore, the purchased amount of energy should be equal to the predicted one with the least error. In case of any deviations, there is a problem of unsold amounts of energy or its shortage, which leads to financial losses, as the companies have to purchase or sell excessively the purchased energy at the price that is unprofitable for them in the wholesale market. Planning and monitoring the process of energy distribution are essential to achieving accurate energy consumption forecasting, which is an important component of all measures to optimize energy costs. The application of the statistical methods underlying the mathematical forecast models, which describe the process under study, will allow reducing the time for making managerial decisions and increasing the accuracy of energy consumption forecasts, thereby affecting the cost reduction in the power supply company. © 2018, Econjournals. Development of “active consumer” concept on energy market

    No full text
The paper investigates a new approach to interaction of all participants on the energy market. An active consumer, as a participant of the energy market, has technical capabilities for optimization of their energy consumption, and determines whether “to produce” or “to buy” electrical energy on the market by themselves. The active consumer’s profile reflects their ability to optimize the electrical energy consumption schedule to improve the economic efficiency of consumption and reduce the cost of the electrical energy consumed. In the concept proposed in this paper, the active consumer is considered as a partner of the energy market entities. This brings about a change in the market regulators and participants’ behavior and their transition from the concept of cost management to the concept of interaction with consumers, involving them in the value chain. A significant difference in the cost of electrical energy for domestic and foreign industrial companies, due to the development of new technologies in the energy sector, leads to a change in the participants’ behavior. Within the framework of the active consumer concept, we propose a process model for the participants’ behavior in the energy market, which presents the economic benefits to all participants during a particular period of time. © 2018, Econjournals. Exploring EFL teacher’s role in a smart learning environment-review study

    No full text
The paper investigates EFL teacher’s role in a smart learning environment (SLE) which uses education technologies to provide essential tools for teachers to personalize teaching, adjust teaching and assessment, and create authentic learning environments for students. SLEs are aimed at using technology to bring real life experiences into the classroom to engage students, and prepare them for life-long education and future careers in a way that traditional practices often fail to do. The study was designed to review a vast amount of literature devoted to the potential of SLEs and teacher’s role in these learning settings and propose a model for EFL teacher’s multiple roles in SLE. © 2018, Slovenska Vzdelavacia Obstaravacia. ESP blended learning based on the use of smart coursebook

    No full text
ESP teaching in the blended learning environment has become quite widespread in language classes worldwide. The purpose of this present study is to outline an effectiveness of ESP blended learning based on the use of the smart coursebook. A total of 48 EFL undergraduate students of a non-linguistic university participated in the study. The experimental group studied the target course through blended learning strategies, and their performance was evaluated through comparing the results got from a pretest and post-test, respectively, to check the effectiveness of ESP blended learning based on the use of the smart coursebook. Questionnaires were also conducted to identify students’ evaluation of the ESP blended learning. It was observed that the participants of the study perceived BL to be useful and helpful for the improvement of their English proficiency. The findings show that the participants in the experimental group received higher scores for their post-test at the end of the study. © 2018, Slovenska Vzdelavacia Obstaravacia. All rights reserved

Peculiarities of using creative neologisms in publicistic texts

    No full text
Creative neologisms are a strategic unit of communication, increasing the importance of modern publistic texts. The paper aims to consider the phenomenon of creative neologisms by the example of text fragments of English-language newspapers and to implement an adequate classification of creative neologisms. The relevance of studying creative neologisms in modern publicistic texts is due to the fact that they can be considered as the linguistic and discursive potential of a publicistic text. The methodological basis for the research comprises method of linguistic-stylistic analysis based on Sánchez’s typology (2016) of the creative neologisms according to their construction devices. The findings suggest that the potential of using creative neologisms in the publicistic texts is high though the percentage of literary creative devices is rather unstable as compared with the formal ones. Although the corpus study is not very big, this trend is quite visible. The experiment has also shown that the level of students’ awareness of literary creative devices that are less frequently used in the publicistic texts is high and can be explained by the differences in perception of creative neologisms by the writers and readers, though this assumption requires further research. © 2019, Slovenska Vzdelavacia Obstaravacia. Trends in the development of the global energy market

    No full text
In recent years, there have been some natural and human-made disasters and severe social clashes in globally important energy regions, which has had a negative impact on the environment in general and on the development of the energy market in particular. Therefore, the development of the modern energy industry is aimed at the broad involvement of renewable energy sources (RES) in the energy balance of the world’s advanced countries. At the EU level, particular attention is given to increasing the proportion of RES in total energy consumption to 12% with the installed capacity of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems up to 3 GW. The purpose of our study is to propose a mathematical model of the electricity generation processes in renewable solar and wind energy systems by methods of the theory of impulsive, random processes as well as recommendations for the development of RES based on the analysis of the trends in consumption and production of energy resources, their supply-demand proportion, and a model for the development of the energy market. Our findings show that the proposed model will allow to optimize the structure and create adaptive energy systems of RES. © 2019, Econjournals. All rights reserved

© 2020. All Rights Reserved. Due to the epidemic disease COVID-19, all of the trainings and courses have been given via distance education since the spring semester of the 2019-2020 academic year. For the first time, the vast majority of the instructors who delivered these courses offered their courses using Web-based distance education technologies. A new process has been entered due to the epidemic that has affected the world. In this process, educational institutions were caught unprepared. For this reason, since distance education is a new process for most, it is possible for faculty members to face various problems. Therefore, determining the opinions of the instructors about the distance education process is important for the improvement and development of the distance education system. The aim of this study is to examine the opinions of the lecturers who provide online courses via distance education through the distance education system and to make suggestions for the improvement of the system. For this purpose, interviews with semi-structured questions were held with 15 instructors in Adobe Connect application and the obtained data were analysed descriptively. The interviews in the zoom application were recorded. The results of the research determined the opinions of the instructors about technology, online education, competencies, problems and adobe connect. As a result of the research, it revealed that the instructors needed in-service training to have sufficient information about the online training platforms; they had a sufficient level of interaction with adobe connect connection, and they needed immediate communication with the distance education centre in technical problem
