    Impact of Accounting Information System on Performance of Vietnamese Construction Enterprises

    Purpose: The article analyzes the impact of the accounting information system on the performance of Vietnamese construction enterprises, providing more empirical evidence on the impact of the accounting information system to the performance of Vietnamese construction enterprises.   Theoretical framework: This paper uses Organizational information processing theory, Situation theory, System Theory.   Design/Methodology/Approach: The research method uses a questionnaire survey of accountants, chief accountants, business managers. Firm Performance, AIS Availability, AIS Security and Integrity, AIS Confidentiality and Privacy, AIS System Quality measured on a five-point Likert scale Very good, good, moderate, not good, weak.   Findings: Research results show that AIS Availability, AIS Security and Integrity, AIS Confidentiality and Privacy, AIS System Quality has a positive impact on the performance of Vietnamese construction enterprises.   Research,  Practical   &   Social   implications: Based on the research results, the author has proposed recommendations to improve the performance of construction enterprises in Vietnam.   Originality/Value: This study fills the gap in the the the impact of the accounting information system on the performance of Vietnamese construction enterprises

    On asymptotic properties of solutions to σ\sigma-evolution equations with general double damping

    In this paper, we would like to consider the Cauchy problem for semi-linear σ\sigma-evolution equations with double structural damping for any σ≄1\sigma\ge 1. The main purpose of the present work is to not only study the asymptotic profiles of solutions to the corresponding linear equations but also describe large-time behaviors of globally obtained solutions to the semi-linear equations. We want to emphasize that the new contribution is to find out the sharp interplay of ``parabolic like models" corresponding to σ1∈[0,σ/2)\sigma_1 \in [0,\sigma/2) and ``σ\sigma-evolution like models" corresponding to σ2∈(σ/2,σ]\sigma_2 \in (\sigma/2,\sigma], which together appear in an equation.     Applications of Lp−LqL^p-L^q estimates for solutions to semi-linear σ\sigma-evolution equations with general double damping

    In this paper, we would like to study the linear Cauchy problems for semi-linear σ\sigma-evolution models with mixing a parabolic like damping term corresponding to σ1∈[0,σ/2)\sigma_1 \in [0,\sigma/2) and a σ\sigma-evolution like damping corresponding to σ2∈(σ/2,σ]\sigma_2 \in (\sigma/2,\sigma]. The main goals are on the one hand to conclude some estimates for solutions and their derivatives in LqL^q setting, with any q∈[1,∞]q\in [1,\infty], by developing the theory of modified Bessel functions effectively to control oscillating integrals appearing the solution representation formula in a competition between these two kinds of damping. On the other hand, we are going to prove the global (in time) existence of small data Sobolev solutions in the treatment of the corresponding semi-linear equations by applying (Lm∩Lq)−Lq(L^{m}\cap L^{q})- L^{q} and Lq−LqL^{q}- L^{q} estimates, with q∈(1,∞)q\in (1,\infty) and m∈[1,q)m\in [1,q), from the linear models.     The relation between fault movement potential and seismic activity of major faults in Northwestern Vietnam

    In this study, the method of Fault Movement Potential (FMP) proposed by Lee et al. (1997) is used to assess the movement potential of some major faults and its relationship with the seismic activities in Northwestern Vietnam. The fault movement potential is assessed by the magnitude of FMP (from 0 to 1) and calculated based on the relationship between kinematic characteristics of the faults and regional tectonic stress field. The maximum compressive stress axis in Northwestern Vietnam has the nearly horizontal trend (7.4±4.0) and the direction of 170.2±6.7. The calculated results of FMP at 60 geological survey points along major faults in Northwestern Vietnam show that the movement potential of these faults is mainly from medium to high (40/60 points with FMP = 0.6 - 0.9). In particular, the faults in Dien Bien Phu have the highest movement potential (FMP = 0.8 - 0.9). An earthquake catalog that consists of 177 earthquakes with M = 4.0 - 6.8 occurring in the studied area from 1277 to 2016 is used to assess the relationship between seismic activities and fault movement potential. The research results indicate that at the locations on the faults with high movement potential, seismic activities occur frequently. On the segment of Son La fault zone in Tuan Giao, Tua Chua, the movement potential has the highest value (FMP = 0.9), corresponding to the occurrence of Tuan Giao earthquake with M = 6.8 in 1983. On the contrary, weak earthquake or even no earthquake occur at the locations with low movement potential such as the segment of Son La fault in Moc Chau, Yen Chau, the segment of Ma River fault in Lang Chanh and the Than Uyen fault in Than Uyen. With the complete survey dataset on slip surface attitude of faults in contemporary times, FMP is significant for assessing the level of seismic activities on each part of the faults, serving the segmentation of faults, establishment of seismogenic regions, earthquake prediction and seismic hazard assessment.ReferencesAndeweg B., Vicente G.     Biosynthesis of silver nanoparticles using curcumin against the bovine mastitis bacteria

    Bovine mastitis is the most common disease and has greatly affected economies around the world. This study aimed to determine the antibacterial ability of bovine mastitis by curcumin - silver nanoparticles (Cur-AgNPs). The study included experiments on presenting a new process for synthesizing silver nanoparticles using curcumin from fresh turmeric as a reducing agent and stabilizer. UV visible spectroscopy of the samples revealed the localized surface plasmon resonance absorbance of the dispersion of silver nanoparticles at 430 nm. The prepared Cur-AgNPs has a spherical shape with an average size of 30 nm and a size distribution of 15–47 nm. FT-IR (Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy) measurements of the samples showed that silver nanopartilces has been encapsulated well by curcumin. Cur-AgNPs with a concentration of 50-200 ÎŒg/mL has very effect to Staphylococcus aureus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa causing bovine mastitis in vitro. The maximum inhibition zone formed was 15 ± 0.85 mm for Staphylococcus aureus and 14 ± 0.56 mm for Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Plant materials mediating for the synthesis of silver nanoparticles have relatively rapid, less expensive, and widespread applications for antimicrobial therapy in the livestock sector
