    The examination of electromagnetic susceptibility of electronic devices is an important part of the process of design, development and construction of the electronic device. Surge is one of the types of electromagnetic interference and all the electronic devices must be tested on this type of interference according to international standards. Surge often occurs at the atmospheric disturbances such as lightning or at disorders in the energy of the high voltage network.     Electromagnetic compatibility is scientific and technological discipline which examines the compatibility conditions of operation the various systems and methods of leading to their optimization. Respect for the principles of electromagnetic compatibility closely related to the quality and reliability of products. Underestimation of these principles in the development, construction, design and testing of products and systems containing electronic circuitry have resulted in a large failure rate of products, their operational unreliability and consequently the inability to sell the product on the market. Moreover, lack of knowledge of the principles and conditions of electromagnetic compatibility may result in failure or irreparable damage to the devices or endanger the property, health or life of people in certain circumstances. © Research India Publications

    Immunity test of electronic device for electrostatic discharge

    Due to the increasing susceptibility of electronic device, the importance of electromagnetic immunity to interference also increasing. The basic task of testing the electromagnetic susceptibility of electronic device on the harmful interference is comparison of the data obtained by testing with data which are required by the relevant standards for the device. When the electronic device does not have a sufficient immunity can occur a deterioration of its functionality, temporary failure or even a permanent damage to the device. The aim of this paper is perform the test of electromagnetic susceptibility for the electrostatic discharge at the keyboard of the alarm system.     Impact of security cameras on electromagnetic environment in far and near-field

    Electromagnetic interference constitutes a serious problem for the design and operation of electronic and electrical security devices or systems because the impairment of the device function gives rise security complications. The complications may be associated with false alarms, errors in control of connected devices, image defects, losses of communication. The main purpose of the experiment reported here was to analyze and compare the level of the electromagnetic interference in a near and far field. In addition, the article also provides an interesting comparison of the results obtained by measuring in the Gigahertz Transverse Electromagnetic cell and semi-anechoic chamber. © 2016 IEEE

    Possibilities for experimental testing of alarm transmission systems

    In the current digital era, information is a basis of some systems. In the area of information, great emphasis is also placed on its security and possibilities of use. The basis of the alarm transmission system is information about the protected object, which is transmitted to the remote center of the alarm transmission system. Operators of alarm transmission system centers should be obliged to carry out regular testing of the availability of individual transmission networks. At present, there is a trend that those tests are carried out by telephone calls between the two technicians and the time of transmission of information is measured utilizing a stopwatch. To automate this process, a test facility has been created that can simulate and record the intrusion of a protected object. Initial experimental tests have ascertained whether it is possible, with the test equipment, to generate the data necessary to assess the reliability of alarm transmission systems. © 2020 UNIVERSITY OF ZILIN

    Nowadays, the Intruder Alarm system is commonly used to protect the life, health and the possession of people in big companies. However, these systems have limited options for managing and remote control. This lack is very often criticized by big companies which want to use the Intruder Alarm System with other applications like Access and Attendance control. The aim of this article is to design a Control and Indicating Equipment which can be implemented into commercially made Personal Computer as expansion card. The designed card provides the main function of the Intruder Alarm system which can be further extended by other applications. The system consists of external communication like Universal Serial Bus, Ethernet and General Packet Radio Service interface. Each individual part of the system is driven by a single microcontroller ATmega328P which can handle communication and evaluation of the current state obtained by devices connected to it. The design can offer all alarm and non-alarm visualization of smart control like irrigation, lights control, audio system, etc. The whole design is driven by the proper standardization and the design consists of every schematic which comes with the explanation. © 2020, Institute of Advanced Engineering and Science.     The Brushless DC (BLDC) motors are often used in many situations in many sectors. These motors are widely used in the application of the Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (AUV). However, BLDC motors need to be controlled by the external system to ensure flawless and reliable function. Using the Electronic speed control (ESC) for the brushless motor, every motor can be controlled by any platforms such as Arduino. The Arduino platform was selected due to its simplicity, availability at the market and the cost-effectiveness. The aim of this research is designing the motor control for the BLDC motor on the Arduino platform. The designed system should be used by the UAV using propellers. This paper also includes the software implementation for the motor control.     Currently, electrostatic discharge constitutes one of the major problems of in designing of electrical and electronic devices which must be solved by the manufacturers. Electrostatic discharge exploits the weaknesses of the devices especially circuits and components. Identification, analysis, and assessment of vulnerabilities are an essential aspect to meet electromagnetic compatibility for electronic and electrical products. According to these requirements of the standard, all device must be constructed to resist the adverse effects which could affect the correct operation of the device.
