GRB–SN Connection in SAO RAS Observations
We present the results of SAO RAS 6-m BTA spectral observations of GRBs and XRFs with the
signs of SNe: GRB/XRF 060218 (SN 2006aj) and XRF 080109 (SN 2008D). The properties of
these events are similar to those of usual core-collapse SNe without GRBs. Some spectral
features in the cases of SN 2006aj and SN 2008D may be interpreted as hydrogen and helium
traces. This supports an idea of presence of a relic envelope around the progenitor star
and the shock break-out effects observed in X-rays, UV and optics
Synthesis of dibenzopiperidinoaza-14-crown-4 ethers and their one-step conversion into dibenzo-16-crown-3
New dibenzoaza-14-crowns-4 containing a fragment of γ-piperidone, in which 2,6-diaryl substituents are connected with polyethylene oxide bridges, were obtained by the Petrenko-Kritchenko reaction and then transformed by acylation into dibenzo-16-crowns-3
Synthesis and molecular structure of bis(areno)piperidinoaza-14(17)-crowns- 4(5)
The condensation of dialkyl ketones with α,ω-bis(2- formylphenoxy)- or α,ω-bis(1-formylnaphthalen-2-yloxy)-3-oxapentane and-3,6-dioxaoctane in the presence of ammonium acetate according to Petrenko-Kritchenko gave 14-41% of new bis(areno) aza crowns, bis(areno)piperidinoaza-14-crown-4 and bis(benzo)-piperidinoaza-17-crown-5, having functional substituents in the piperidine fragment. The yield of the aza crown ether appreciably decreases upon extension of the polyether chain in the aldehyde component. The molecular structure of two of the obtained macrocyclic compounds and the relative configuration of asymmetric carbon atoms in the piperidine ring were determined by X-ray analysis, and the size of their internal cavities was estimated. © 2008 MAIK Nauka

The multi-band study of the environment of the RC J0311+0507 radio galaxy: a step forward to understand massive stellar system formation at Z
The radio galaxy RC J0311+0507 was investigated in the “Big Trio” project, which aims to
search for distant radio galaxies. Optical spectroscopy performed at the 6-m telescope
measured its redshift as 4.514. The source is one of the most luminous objects in the high
redshift Universe having L ≈ 3 × 1029W Hz-1 at 500 MHz, that
suggests the presence of a super massive black hole with a mass of about
1010 M⊙ inside the parent galaxy. Mechanisms of
the formation of galaxies with black holes of such masses in the early stage of the
Universe is not yet clear. Based on a collection of deep images taken in 10 optical and
infrared bands we started a photometric study of the environment of this radio galaxy to
detect possible neighborhood

1-R-2-[(1E,3E)-4-Aminobuta-1,3-dien-1-yl]-1H-benzimidazoles. Synthesis and some transformations
7-Nitropyridobenzimidazolium salts are cleaved with secondary amines to form 2-[(E,E)-4-aminobuta-1,3-dienyl]-1H-benzimidazoles. The latter react with dimethyl acetylene-dicarboxylate to yield 4a-[(E,Z,E)-6-amino-4,5- dimethoxycarbonylhexa-1,3,5-trien-1-yl]-1,2,3,4-tetra(methoxycarbonyl)-4a, 5-dihydropyrido[1,2-a]benzimidazoles. © 2010 Springer Science+Business Media, Inc
