Successful Clinical management of Uraemic toxaemia in a bitch

Uraemic toxemia is a condition resulting due to the retention of toxic waste metabolite of urine like urea, creatinine etc. in the blood. Which may prove fatal many a times. The retention of urine may be a sequelee of severe dehydration leading to oliguria followed by anuria or due to the nephritis in a animals. It has been observed that nephritis is oftenly associated with pyometra also. In the present study the elevated levels of urea and creatinine were alarmingly elevated and was life threatening also. However the timely diagnosis & surgical intervention could save and prolong the life of bitch. [Vet. World 2009; 2(4.000): 146-147

Résultats de recherches sur certaines propriétés magnétiques et magnéto-optiques de matières ferromagnétiques

1. Low temperature measurements of the saturation magnetization of NiCu alloys are given and agree with the T3/2 law. The exchange integral is calculated. 2. The magnetic properties of the system Mn-B are investigated. The compound MnB is the ferromagnetic component in these alloys. 3. The results of measurements of the paramagnetic susceptibility of ferromagnetic materials at high temperature, up to 1 600 °C, are given. 4. Resonance effects in ferromagnetic substances in the infrared region have been observed. Some mechanisms are proposed.1. Les auteurs rendent compte des résultats de mesures aux basses températures de l'aimantation à saturation des alliages NiCu. La loi en T 3/2 est bien vérifiée et on en déduit la valeur de l'intégrale d'échange. 2. Les auteurs ont étudié les propriétés magnétiques des alliages du système Mn-B. Le porteur du ferromagnétisme est précisément la combinaison MnB. 3. Résultats de recherches sur la variation avec la température (jusqu'à 1 600 °K) de la susceptibilité paramagnétique des substances ferromagnétiques. 4. Dans les métaux ferromagnétiques, l'auteur a mis en évidence par voie optique et essaie d'interpréter des résonances qui se situent dans l'infra-rouge
