This study aimed to examine the effect of audit experience, audit expertise, and obedience pressure to audit judgment taken by auditor. The sample of this research are auditors who worked on Badan Pemeriksa Keuangan (BPK) RI Representative of Nort Sulawesi Province. The sample was conducted by purposive sampling method. Collecting data was conducted by questionnare distributed directly to auditors as much 50 and only 38 questionnare replayed. Data analysis used multiple linear regression method with SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solution). The result of this research showed that audit experience significantly affect audit judgment taken by auditor, obedience pressure significantly affect audit judgment taken by auditor, but audit expertise didn\u27t significantly affect audit judgment taken by auditor, because the audit expertise in variabel measurement only use indicator : adetailed knowledge of the financial statements, have the ability to perform an audit in accordance with the regulations and have many types of certification / recognition of the expertise of technical training (does not represent an operational definition of variables). So that the results are less present facts on the ground

The purpose of this study is to explore and analyze: (1) the implementation of forensic accounting is applicable and effective functioning of the fraud prevention (preventive); (2) the implementation of forensic accounting is applicable and effective functioning of the fraud detection (detective); and (3) the implementation of investigative audit applicable and effective functioning of the fraud investigation (repressive) in the local financial management. The analytical method used is descriptive qualitative methods that examines the participants perspective and some informations from the key informan through in-depth interviews and additional questions instrument by using purposive sampling, then make data triangulation obtained sources and collection techniques for analysis interactively by reducing, displaying in the form of a narrative texts, tables, matrix, charts, and then drawn a conclusion. The results of research and analysis states that forensic accounting is applicable and effective function to be applied to the fraud prevention (preventive) in the local financial management through the FCP, SPIP and SIMDA; forensic accounting is also applicable and effective function to be applied to the fraud detection (detective) in the local financial management through Operational Audit, Audit of Government goods and services Procurement (Probity Audit), EDP Audit: Computer Forensic, and Whistleblowers System; and the Audit Investigative very applicable and effective function to be applied to the fraud investigation (repressive) in the local financial management through investigative audits, in order to calculate losses of the state financial audits, and the provision of expert witness

Creation and Reproduction of Model Cells with Semipermeable Membrane

A high activity of reactions can be confined in a model cell with a semipermeable membrane in the Schl\"ogl model. It is interpreted as a model of primitive metabolism in a cell. We study two generalized models to understand the creation of primitive cell systems conceptually from the view point of the nonlinear-nonequilibrium physics. In the first model, a single-cell system with a highly active state confined by a semipermeable membrane is spontaneously created from an inactive homogeneous state by a stochastic jump process. In the second model, many cell structures are reproduced from a single cell, and a multicellular system is created.Comment: 11 pages, 7 figure

Effective Hamiltonian Approach to Hyperon Beta Decay with Final-State Baryon Polarization

Using an effective Hamiltonian approach, we obtain expressions for hyperon beta decay final-state baryon polarization. Terms through second order in the energy release are retained. The resulting approximate expressions are much simpler and more compact than the exact expressions, and they agree closely with them.Comment: 1 Figure Will appear in Phys Rev D 60 Article 117505 (Dec 1, 1999

Reaction-Diffusion System in a Vesicle with Semi-Permeable Membrane

We study the Schloegl model in a vesicle with semi-permeable membrane. The diffusion constant takes a smaller value in the membrane region, which prevents the outflow of self-catalytic product. A nonequilibrium state is stably maintained inside of the vesicle. Nutrients are absorbed and waste materials are exhausted through the membrane by diffusion. It is interpreted as a model of primitive metabolism in a cell.Comment: 8 pages, 6 figure

Attentional bias towards and away from fearful faces is modulated by developmental amygdala damage

The amygdala is believed to play a major role in orienting attention towards threat-related stimuli. However, behavioral studies on amygdala-damaged patients have given inconsistent results-variously reporting decreased, persisted, and increased attention towards threat. Here we aimed to characterize the impact of developmental amygdala damage on emotion perception and the nature and time-course of spatial attentional bias towards fearful faces. We investigated SF, a 14-year-old with selective bilateral amygdala damage due to Urbach-Wiethe disease (UWD), and ten healthy controls. Participants completed a fear sensitivity questionnaire, facial expression classification task, and dot-probe task with fearful or neutral faces for spatial cueing. Three cue durations were used to assess the time-course of attentional bias. SF expressed significantly lower fear sensitivity, and showed a selective impairment in classifying fearful facial expressions. Despite this impairment in fear recognition, very brief (100 msec) fearful cues could orient SF's spatial attention. In healthy controls, the attentional bias emerged later and persisted longer. SF's attentional bias was due solely to facilitated engagement to fear, while controls showed the typical phenomenon of difficulty in disengaging from fear. Our study is the first to demonstrate the separable effects of amygdala damage on engagement and disengagement of spatial attention. The findings indicate that multiple mechanisms contribute in biasing attention towards fear, which vary in their timing and dependence on amygdala integrity. It seems that the amygdala is not essential for rapid attention to emotion, but probably has a role in assessment of biological relevance

What innovative practices and processes are used to deliver psychosocial care in India?:A qualitative case study of three non-profit community mental health organisations

The global mental health field seeks to close the “treatment gap” for mental illness in low-and middle-income countries by scaling evidence-based interventions. The evidence base has often bypassed psychosocial interventions by local organizations who do not fit a biomedical approach to evidence building. In India, non-profit mental health organizations are addressing care gaps through novel approaches that emphasize social recovery and inclusion. This study seeks to better understand the nature and dynamic of this innovation by examining what was working well in the practices and processes of three such community mental health care organizations. A comparative case approach was chosen for its strength as an exploratory means for inductive theory building. Three case organizations in Kerala, West Bengal and Uttarakhand states were selected based on their diverse socio-cultural and health systems settings. Qualitative data was collected in 2018–20, to examine their practices and processes using mixed methods and data sources including interviews, focus groups, participant observation and document analysis.Common strategies observed across the three organizations, included engaging community, prioritising beneficiaries, co-opting resources, devolving care, reorganising communication and recovery and integration. These strategies were further categorized into three domains: constructing a sustainable resource base, managing knowledge and redefining meanings. In contrast with conventional problem-solving approaches, these cases used an approach that built on assets and strengths using inclusive governance which enabled coordination of the community health system. This study argues that these organizations incorporate reflexive practice and two-way flows of knowledge to enable them to address complex social determinants of mental health. This has implications for how psychosocial care in CMH is conceptualized. We argue that the ways the organizations respond to the complexities of mental health difficulties contributes to reframing mental health as a social development issue, centering inclusion of people with psychosocial disabilities. Our findings argue against a polarization between biomedical and psychosocial CMH models and illustrate ways of integrating both approaches and their centrality to effective mental health care
