Research, development and application of the innovational technology of high quality pump-compressor pipes production from sections
The innovational technology of high-strength, cold- and corrosion-resistant pump-compressor pipes from sections was developed. It includes the reduction process inside three-high stand of screw rolling before piercing in the Β«80Β» pipe-rolling mill line in OAO SinTZ. The special attention is paid to the questions of fine-grained steel production and final tubes quality. It is shown that new technology is efficient from the point of tube production of high level mechanical properties

Effect of Nanocrystalline Diamond Films Deflection on Wear Observed in Reciprocating Sliding Tests
The present study deals with the tribological behavior of nanocrystalline diamond (NCD) films. The diamond films were deposited by microwave plasma enhanced chemical vapor deposition (MPCVD) in methane/hydrogen/air plasma on the Si(100) substrates. The tribological properties were studied by reciprocal sliding tests against Si3N4 balls. The depth profiles and surface morphology of the wear scars were investigated by means of mechanical profilometry and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). Various adaptation processes occur between contacting surfaces including asperity polishing, formation of carbonaceous tribolayer and ripple patterns on the wear scar surfaces. The film deflection is the specific form of adaptation decreasing contact pressure and, therefore, the damage (including wear) of both counter bodies. Distortion of the depression on the rear of the blank in broaching
When using continuous-cast billet in pipe rolling, it is expedient to roll the billet prior to broaching, so as to improve the structure and properties of the steel. To that end, a three-high screw-rolling mill for billet reduction has been installed at the TPA-80 pipe-rolling unit at OAO Sinarskii Trubnyi Zavod. Introduction of the new process was associated with increase in the rejection rate on account of indentations in the pipe. These indentations may be attributed to the depression formed at the rear of the billet in reduction and the subsequent formation of metallic semicircles on broaching; the semicircles break away and enter the deformation zone. The sources of the indentations on the rolled pipe are investigated. The broaching of the billet on a screw rolling mill is mathematically simulated. Recommendations are made with a view to reducing the surface defects on pipe produced by the TPA-80 unit with a reduction mill. Β© 2013 Allerton Press, Inc

Clinical and microbiological study of the effectiveness of treatment of alveolitis of the tooth socket using a low-wave laser and a medicament based on gramicidin Π‘
The authors obtained and analyzed the results of treatment of alveolitis with the use of light emitting diode radiation and a medical based on βGramicidin C' and the classical method of treatment of alveolitis by studying the microbiocinosis of the tooth socket before and after treatment and evaluation of pain in the dynamics using a visual-analog scale. The study included 70 people. Between the ages of 22 and 82. Depending on the method of treatment, the patients were divided into two groups. The main group consisted of 35 people, the treatment was carried out by the author's method (patent RU 2678199 C1). Treatment of patients of the comparison group (35 people) included abundant irrigation of the well of the previously removed tooth with an antiseptic solution -chlorhexidine 0.05%, followed by filling with iodoform gauze. The analysis of the data of microbiological study of the visual analog scale in the dynamics allows us to conclude that the use of a medical based on the antibiotic Gramicidin Π‘ has a significant antimicrobial activity on the pathogenic microflora of the tooth socket and is an alternative method for the treatment of alveolitis of the jaws. SYNOVIAL CYST IN THE PROJECTION OF TIBIAL TUNNEL AFTER ACL RECONSTRUCTION (CASE REPORT)
ACLΒ tearsΒ are theΒ mostΒ widespreadΒ lesionsΒ amongΒ isolatedΒ traumaΒ of kneeΒ ligamentsΒ thatΒ requireΒ earlyΒ surgical treatment especially in young active patients. ThereΒ are various ACL reconstruction techniques where femur and tibia tunnels are formed and graft is fixed by cannulated interference screws. One of the possible complications is the formation of a postoperative soft tissue cyst in the projection of tibial tunnel.Β The natureΒ as well as mechanism of cyst formationΒ is still unclear.A relevantΒ clinical case of cyst formationΒ in a patient five years after ACL gratingΒ is describedΒ in this publication. MRI findings demonstrated thatΒ the origin of the cyst was hole of the tibial interference screw.Conclusion. The authorsΒ observed thatΒ synovial cyst was formed due to use of cannulated interference screws where synovialΒ fluid was leakingΒ from jointΒ cavityΒ through screw holes. Cystectomy andΒ autografting of tibialΒ bone tunnel allowed to reduce such complication

The paper describes the procedure of hydrogeological and ecological survey In the regions adjacent to oilfield facilities. Results of Integrated geophysical survey, including high-precision gravity measurement, electrical prospecting methods. In that number, symmetrical electrical profiling, vertical electric sounding, and spontaneous potentials, were used to decide on the site and type of specialized hydrogeological and ecological works. The first priorities are the zones with Intense tectonic fracturing determined first by space geological Investigations and confirmed later by gravity measurement

The authors develop and substantiate the methods of assessing Russian science journals citation in six domains as specified by the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) and, based on Web of Science Core Collection data, make recommendations for promoting Russian journals to the international databases. The authors analyze the methods of citing science journals indexed by the international systems and conclude that there was a need for additional indicators of citation assessment with consideration to the national origins of publications. They suggest the methodological approach based on calculating citation coefficient which is a modified version of impact factor. The key distinctions of the method are the following: the number of citing documents are applied instead of the quotation number; only one document type, i.e. academic papers, is used for calculations; citation widows are varied depending on specificity of six OECD science domains.
