Nilpotent Marsh and SUSY QM
We consider the nilpotent additions to classical trajectories in
supersymmetric and nonsupersymmetric theories. The condition of anilpotence of
action on some generalized solutions leads to the Witten supersymmetric
Lagrangian. The condition of anilpotence of topological charge is the same as
one of superpotential with spontaneous broken supersymmetry. We should vanish
half of Grassmann constants of integration, because in this case only we obtain
the same number of normalized bosonic and fermionic zero modes.Comment: 8 pages, Latex 2.09. Talk given at the conference in memory of V.I.

Diffeomorphism, kappa transformations and the theory of non-linear realisations
We will show how the theory of non-linear realisations can be used to
naturally incorporate world line diffeomorphisms and kappa transformations for
the point particle and superpoint particle respectively. Similar results also
hold for a general p-brane and super p-brane, however, we must in these cases
include an additional Lorentz transformation.Comment: 19pages, no figure. References are added and typos are correcte
Dynamics of (SUSY) AdS Space Isometry Breaking
Actions governing the dynamics of the Nambu-Goldstone modes resulting from
the spontaneous breaking of the SO(4,2) and isometries of five
dimensional anti-de Sitter space () and SUSY
spaces respectively due to a restriction of the motion to embedded four
dimensional space and four dimensional Minkowski space () probe
branes are presented. The dilatonic Nambu-Goldstone mode governing the motion
of the space probe brane into the covolume of the SUSY
space is found to be unstable. No such instablility appears in the other cases.
Gauging these symmetries leads to an Einstein-Hilbert action containing, in
addition to the gravitational vierbein, a massive Abelian vector field coupled
to gravity.Comment: 6 pages, 0 figures, to appear in Proceedings of IRGAC 2006: 2nd

Basic Twist Quantization of osp(1|2) and kappa-- Deformation of D=1 Superconformal Mechanics
The twisting function describing a nonstandard (super-Jordanian) quantum
deformation of is given in explicite closed form. The quantum
coproducts and universal R-matrix are presented. The non-uniqueness of the
twisting function as well as two real forms of the deformed
superalgebras are considered. One real quantum superalgebra is
interpreted as describing the -deformation of D=1, N=1 superconformal
algebra, which can be applied as a symmetry algebra of N=1 superconformal
mechanics.Comment: 13 pages,LaTeX, v2. References added, typos correcte
Prospects of paramagnetic lanthanide complexes for magnetic resonance imaging, local thermosensing and diagnosing
The features of the paramagnetic properties of lanthanide (Ln) containing complexes with crown ethers, pivaloyltrifluoracetonato, and EDTA have been studied by 1H and 19F NMR techniques. These complexes are of interest due to the prospect of using some of them as sensors for biology and medicine. The temperature dependencies of the lanthanide-induced shifts revealed that Ln complexes might have practical importance for 1H and 19F NMR temperature control in solutions. It was shown in vitro (using NMR spectrometers and MRI scanners) that these complexes can serve as special NMR thermo-sensitive contrast reagents
On the Inconsistency of Fayet-Iliopoulos Terms in Supergravity Theories
Motivated by recent discussions, we revisit the issue of whether globally
supersymmetric theories with non-zero Fayet-Iliopoulos terms may be
consistently coupled to supergravity. In particular, we examine claims that a
fundamental inconsistency arises due to the conflicting requirements which are
imposed on the -symmetry properties of the theory by the supergravity
framework. We also prove that certain kinds of Fayet-Iliopoulos contributions
to the supercurrent supermultiplets of theories with non-zero Fayet-Iliopoulos
terms fail to exist. A key feature of our discussion is an explicit comparison
between results from the chiral (or ``old minimal'') and linear (or ``new
minimal'') formulations of supergravity, and the effects within each of these
formalisms that are induced by the presence of non-zero Fayet-Iliopoulos terms.Comment: Comments: 69 pages, LaTeX, 2 figures, 7 tables. Significant new

Deformed Oscillator Algebras and Higher-Spin Gauge Interactions of Matter Fields in 2+1 Dimensions
We formulate a non-linear system of equations which describe higher-spin
gauge interactions of massive matter fields in 2+1 dimensional space-time and
explain some properties of the deformed oscillator algebra which underlies this
formulation. In particular we show that the parameter of mass of matter
fields is related to the deformation parameter in this algebra.Comment: LaTex, 12 pages, no figures; Invited talk at the International
