    Methods of Modification and Semantics of Foreign Anthroponyms in Russian Internet Discourse (Example of Nomination of Members of British Royal Family)

    The results of a study of the functioning peculiarities of modified foreign anthroponyms in the Russian-language Internet discourse is presented in the article. The main methods of word formation, the structure and semantics of foreign occasional anthroponyms in the Russian-language Internet discourse are considered. The relevance and novelty of the study is due to the choice of linguistic material, which were foreign-language anthroponyms in Russian, in particular, modified names of members of the British royal family. It is shown that these occasional nominations embody the emotional and evaluative attitude of Russian-speaking Internet users to members of the royal family. The results of a structural and comparative analysis of modified foreign anthroponyms used by Russian-speaking Internet users are presented. An attempt is made to show how the derivational means of the Russian language can reflect the subjective connotation of occasional derivatives. The main word-formation models in the field of occasional anthroponymy of the Russian language are revealed. It is concluded that the most productive way of modifying foreign anthroponyms in the Russian-language Internet discourse is suffixation. The semantics of the identified word-formation models is analyzed, their emotional-expressive function in the language is studied.     Slang of Figure Skating Fans in Russian Internet Communication

    The article is devoted to the study of the sports slang features of figure skating fans in the modern Russian. The relevance of the study is due to the increased interest of domestic fans in figure skating, which was expressed in numerous author’s materials and comments on the Internet. The research was conducted on the material of the texts published on the Internet platform “Zen” for 2021—2022. The material includes 115 slang units. The main functions of modern sports slangisms in the sphere of “Figure skating” (nominative, expressiveevaluative, identifying, function of language economy) were studied. The main thematic groups of studied slangisms, represented by the names of sports competitions, programs and elements, figure skaters, athletes, coaches, ratings, fans / supporters, sports organizations are established. The main productive wordformation models of lexical elements of modern sports slang in the sphere of “Figure skating"” in Russian-language Internet communication are revealed. Conclusions are made that the most productive way of word formation of slangisms in the field of “Figure skating” are abbreviations of various types

    Comparability assessment of the results of thiomersal quantification in adsorbed immunobiological medicinal products by colourimetry and by cold vapor atomic absorption spectrometry

    To ensure the quality of immunobiologicals, it is required to quantify the thiomersal preservative present in a number of them. The authors have previously developed an analytical procedure for thiomersal quantification in non-adsorbed immunobiological medicinal products, which is based on cold vapor atomic absorption spectrometry (CV AAS). The aim of the study was to analyse the possibility of using the CV AAS procedure for thiomersal content determination in adsorbed immunobiologicals and evaluate the comparability of thiomersal quantification results obtained by colourimetry and CV AAS. Materials and methods: the study used the national reference standard of mercury ions content and the pharmacopoeial reference standard of thiomersal content in adsorbed medicinal products (PhRS 3.1.00427), as well as samples of immunobiologicals by different manufacturers: a DTP vaccine, anatoxins, hepatitis B and influenza vaccines, and combined vaccines. The study involved CV AAS and the colourimetric reaction between mercury and dithizone. Results: the specificity of the CV AAS procedure is demonstrated by the coefficient of variation (3.95%) and the coefficient of correlation between the test sample volume and thiomersal content (0.9956). The regression analysis and the Fisher’s test value of 0.16 indicate the absence of bias. The trueness of the method is satisfactory, as the percent recovery differs from the total spiked amount by less than 10%. For the sensitivity of the CV AAS procedure, its quantification and detection limits are 6.9×10-3 μg/ mL and 2.3×10-3  μg/ mL, respectively. The Fisher’s test value obtained in the comparability assessment of the results of thiomersal quantification by colourimetry and CV AAS (1.29) is lower than the conventional tabulated one (3.96). Conclusions: according to the study, it is possible to use the CV AAS procedure for thiomersal quantification in adsorbed immunobiologicals. The established detection limit allows evaluating residual amounts of thiomersal in in-process intermediates during the production of preservative-free immunobilogical dosage forms. The comparability assessment of the results of thiomersal quantification by colourimetry and CV AAS, carried out using oneway ANOVA and Fisher’s test, showed the possibility of using PhRS 3.1.00427 to control the consistency of operation when reproducing the CV AAS procedure

Ранее нами была разработана методика количественного определения тиомерсала в несорбированных ИЛП, основанная на методе атомно-абсорбционной спектрометрии холодного пара (методика ААС ХП). Цель работы: анализ возможности применения методики ААС ХП для количественной оценки содержания тиомерсала в сорбированных препаратах и оценка сопоставимости результатов количественного определения тиомерсала, полученных с помощью колориметрической методики и методики ААС ХП. Материалы и методы: государственный стандартный образец содержания ионов ртути; фармакопейный стандартный образец (ФСО) содержания мертиолята в сорбированных препаратах (ФСО 3.1.00427); образцы сорбированных ИЛП различных производителей (АКДС-вакцина, препараты анатоксинов, вакцины против гепатита В и гриппа, комбинированные вакцины). Исследование проводили с применением колориметрической методики в реакции с дитизоном и методики ААС ХП. Результаты: полученные с использованием методики ААС ХП значения относительного стандартного отклонения (3,95%) и коэффициента корреляции «объем образца — содержание тиомерсала» (0,9956) подтверждают специфичность методики; регрессионный анализ и полученное значение F-критерия Фишера, равное 0,16, свидетельствуют об отсутствии систематической ошибки методики. Диапазон процента выявления добавленного количества тиомерсала, не превышающий 10%, свидетельствует об удовлетворительной правильности методики. Установлена чувствительность методики ААС ХП: предел количественного определения и предел обнаружения ионов ртути в образце составили 6,9×10-3 и 2,3×10-3 мкг/мл соответственно. Значение критерия Фишера (1,29), полученное при оценке сопоставимости результатов определения тиомерсала колориметрической методикой и методикой ААС ХП, ниже табличного значения (3,96). Выводы: подтверждена возможность применения методики ААС ХП для количественного определения тиомерсала в сорбированных ИЛП. Установленный предел обнаружения методики позволяет оценивать остаточные количества тиомерсала в полупродуктах при производстве бесконсервантных форм ИЛП. Оценка сопоставимости результатов определения тиомерсала колориметрической методикой и методикой ААС ХП, проведенная с применением однофакторного дисперсионного анализа по критерию Фишера, показала возможность применения ФСО 3.1.00427 для контроля стабильности аналитической работы при воспроизведении методики ААС ХП

With the positive changes occurring in the healthcare infrastructure, the issue of staff shortage became especially acute. Wanted are specialists qualified to use new equipment safely and effectively, and capable of providing proper pharmacotherapeutic care. A vast majority of countries all over the world face staff shortage, which is especially pronounced in cardiology - the fastest growing area of medicine.     Влияние корпоративного управления на структуру капитала отечественных компаний

    The choice of the optimal capital structure is one of the biggest challenges that the company’s top management faces due to the fact that the right strategy secures the company’s financial stability, sustainable development and capital-raising potential. This study aims at establishing a connection between the capital structure of Russian companies and corporate governance. Literature background of the paper consists of foreign and Russian authors’ works in the field of behavioral finance. Observations from 60 Russian companies were employed in the study. The major findings obtained by economic and mathematical modeling are as follows: 1. positive connection was established between the size of board of directors, number of independent directors and debt in capital structure; 2. positive connection between CEO’s age and short-term debt in capital structure; 3. no correlation between gender of directors and debt. The findings of this study may be used for determining the optimal capital structure strategy. Moreover, this information may be taken into account by top-management, directors, etc. for internal valuation of a company’s operations including sound valuation of the corporate governance factors that influenced the company’s capital structure.Выбор оптимальной структуры капитала является одной из сложнейших задач, которая стоит перед руководством организации, от правильно выбранной стратегии зависит финансовая стабильность и инвестиционная привлекательность компании. Целью представленной работы является анализ и определение характера влияния факторов корпоративного управления на структуру капитала отечественных компаний. Методологическую основу данной статьи составляет анализ работ зарубежных и отечественных авторов, занимающихся исследованиями в области поведенческих финансов. Эмпирическая база исследования включала 60 крупных российских компаний. Основные результаты заключаются в  доказательстве влияния факторов корпоративного управления на структуру капитала. На основе экономико-математического моделирования было выявлено: 1) положительная взаимосвязь между размером совета директоров, количеством независимых директоров и количеством заемных средств в структуре капитала отечественных компаний; 2) прямая зависимость между возрастом CEO и долей краткосрочных заемных средств в структуре капитала; 3) отсутствие влияния гендерного аспекта на структуру капитала отечественных компаний. Полученные результаты можно использовать при формировании оптимальной стратегии привлечения заемных средств. Кроме того, они могут быть полезны высшему руководству российских компаний, членам совета директоров и другим лицам для внутренней оценки деятельности предприятия, включая оценку влияния корпоративного управления на структуру капитала
