There are Various mining algorithms of association rules. One of the most popular algorithm is Apriori that extracts frequent itemset from large database and getting the association rule for discovering the knowledge. this paper pitfalls the limitation of the original Apriori algorithm for wasting time for scanning the whole database searching on to the frequent itemsets, and presents an technique on Apriori by reducing that wasted time depending on scanning only some transactions whose support value is bigger than 25% of minimum Support is taken as frequent item set and is added to the frequent item sets and then rules are formed. An enhanced Apriori algorithm may find the tendency of a customer on the basis of frequently purchased item-sets The proposed algorithm is useful as a frequent item sets predictor with lower number of scans. At present Data mining has a lot of e-Commerce applications. The key problem in this is how to find useful hidden patterns for better business applications in the retail sector. For the solution of those problems, The Apriori algorithm is the most popular data mining approach for finding frequent item sets from a transaction dataset and derives association rules. Association Rules are the discovered knowledge from the data base. Finding frequent item set (item sets with frequency larger than or equal to a user specified minimum support) is not trivial because of its combinatorial explosion. Once item sets are obtained, it is straightforward approach to generate association rules with confidence value larger than or equal to a user specified minimum confidence value. Apriori uses bottom up strategy. It is the most famous and classical algorithm for mining frequent patterns. Apriori algorithm works on categorical attributes. Apriori uses breadth first searc

Bacterial mastitis is the most common variety of mastitis and is often caused by Staphylococcus aureus. Chronic mastitis is usually seen as a complication of tuberculosis & syphilis. A 31-year-old female presented with lump in the right breast for the past two years with pain for the past 15 days and discharge for the past two to three days. On examination, the lump was measured and was approximately 4x4 cm in size with a discharging sinus just lateral to the areola. No regional lymphadenopathy was noticed. A clinical diagnosis of “Lump in the right breast” with sinus probably due to tuberculosis was made. The lump had been excised surgically. Salmonella paratyphi A was isolated after repeated culture. She had responded to ceftriaxone, hence, unnecessary use of anti-tubercular drugs could be avoided. In chronic mastitis and breast abscess Salmonella species should be considered as one of the etiological agents.

The Eu3+ doped YBO3 was prepared by the novel aldo-keto method. The structure and VUV luminescence properties of the title compound were studied and compared to the corresponding properties of the materials prepared by a conventional solid state reaction. The use of novel aldo-keto method in preparation lowered the reaction threshold temperature by c.a. 300oC. The YBO3 phosphor from the aldo-keto method look like evenly sized spherical structures, whereas those from the solid-state process look like some agglomerates of little spheres. The Eu3+-doped YBO3 phosphors prepared by both methods showed the red emission with peak around 592, 611 and 627 nm at excitations wavelengths 147 and172 nm, which corresponds to the transitions from the excited 5D0 level to the 7FJ (J = 1, 2, 3, 4) levels of Eu3+ activators. However, the emission intensity of the Eu3+ doped YBO3 from the aldo-keto system is about 2 times as much as that from the sold-state process

This paper presents a review of flying electric generators which are used to harness kinetic energy in powerful, persistent high altitude winds. It has been found that FEGs could give individual output of up to 40MW. It is a lighter wind turbine that rotates about a horizontal axis in response to wind, generating electrical energy. This electrical energy is transferred down for immediate use, or to a set of batteries for later use, or to the power grid. This paper presents the critical analysis of existing literature which is relevant to flying electric generator Though, the literature consists of a lot many research contributions, but, here, we have analyzed some important research and review papers. The existing approaches are categorized based on the basic concepts involved in the mechanisms. The emphasis is on the concepts used by the concerned authors, the database used for experimentations and the performance evaluation parameters. Their claims are also highlighted. Finally, the findings are summarized related to the studied and analyzed research papers. Paper concludes with the motivation behind identified problem

An Approach towards Effective File Retrieval and its Indexing through Content based Pattern Matching

The systems constantly assume the user is conscious regarding the file they are wanting. But average users rarely even apprehend that file exists. File sharing systems that do ponder the user experience and allow users to travel searching for files by their name, usually gift centralized management which they show several severe vulnerabilities that make the system unreliable and insecure. The aim of this methodology is to vogue a further complete distributed file sharing system that is not entirely trustable, climbable and secure, but in addition leverages the user's psychological feature employment

Automatic Overhead Water Tank Cleaning System: A Review and an Approach

Aim of this paper is to develop a mechanical system for cleaning domestic cylindrical water tank. The mechanical system includes two main mechanisms which are rack and pinion gear mechanism and reciprocating four bar linkage mechanism. The rack and pinion arrangement is used to move whole mechanical system up and down for cleaning the cylindrical tank. The rack is fixed on the motor and the four-bar mechanism is attached to the motor shaft. PVC brushes are attached to the ends of the four-bar linkage. Four bar linkage is made in such a way that it can be adjusted according to inside diameter of the tank. When the motor is started the linkage rotates and with the help of brushes, cleaning of wall and base of tank takes place. The purpose of this project is to reduce the human efforts and to avoid the chemical influence on health of person entering the tank for cleaning. In this modern world, cleaning of overhead tanks manually is a tedious job. To overcome this we have aimed at tackling the disadvantages of cleaning overhead tanks, so an automatic system overhead tank cleaning is designed to provide high safety, high efficiency, less time for cleaning and to avoid environmental pollution problems. Purpose of this paper is to clean domestic cylindrical water tank with the help of mechatronics system. The mechatronics system consists of a grooved gear rod attached to two arms with brushes at ends. The two arms are connected to the gear rod by nut. By rotating the gear rod, the up and down motion of the two arms is achieved. The gear rod is rotated with the help of a D.C gear motor. The main grooved shaft is powered by an A.C motor. The motor and the shaft are connected by a rubber belt. The clockwise rotation of the main shaft will make the arms move and vice versa. The whole operation is controlled by a circuit consisting of relay switches, buttons, and PIC microcontroller. The number of times for the operation to repeat can be fed into the circuit. The achievement of this project is reduction of cost and manual labour because there will be harmful diseases for the person who will go inside and it will affect the health as well as the other human being who consumes water from the tank

Evaluating the effect on tensile bond strength between commonly used acrylic denture base material lined with two variety of soft liners after using three varieties of denture cleansers-an in vitro study

    Get PDF
Background: Long-term use of denture causes significant changes in its supporting structures and can lead to constant pain and discomfort. Soft lining material extensively used in field of prosthodontics to improve fit of conventional acrylic resin denture for restoring optimal health of abused oral tissue showing degenerative change. Method: Specially designed metal mould used for fabrication of 80 acrylic resin blocks. Applying soft liner between 2 acrylic sample using metal mould and grouping these samples for immersion in solution of denture cleansers. These acrylic samples were then divided into 2 groups of 40 samples each for applying 2 variety of soft liner for each group (L1 and L2). Keeping specimen in solution of denture cleanser per day for 8 h keeping each specimen 3 times a day=equals to 3 days treatment. Thus, keeping the specimen for 30 days×3 exposure=amount to 90 days (3 months) exposure and then tensile bond strength measured using universal testing machine (Instron). ANOVA test is applied. Results: Tensile bond strength of Viscogel soft liner with acrylic based is decreased with more Polident denture cleanser followed by Efferdent, Clinsodent and least affected by water which is statistically significant. Conclusions: The clinician should choose denture cleanser by considering the microbiologic properties of cleansers and material aspects such as the compatibility of denture cleanser with soft liners

General anaesthetic and airway management practice for obstetric surgery in England: a prospective, multi-centre observational study

    Get PDF
There are no current descriptions of general anaesthesia characteristics for obstetric surgery, despite recent changes to patient baseline characteristics and airway management guidelines. This analysis of data from the direct reporting of awareness in maternity patients' (DREAMY) study of accidental awareness during obstetric anaesthesia aimed to describe practice for obstetric general anaesthesia in England and compare with earlier surveys and best-practice recommendations. Consenting patients who received general anaesthesia for obstetric surgery in 72 hospitals from May 2017 to August 2018 were included. Baseline characteristics, airway management, anaesthetic techniques and major complications were collected. Descriptive analysis, binary logistic regression modelling and comparisons with earlier data were conducted. Data were collected from 3117 procedures, including 2554 (81.9%) caesarean deliveries. Thiopental was the induction drug in 1649 (52.9%) patients, compared with propofol in 1419 (45.5%). Suxamethonium was the neuromuscular blocking drug for tracheal intubation in 2631 (86.1%), compared with rocuronium in 367 (11.8%). Difficult tracheal intubation was reported in 1 in 19 (95%CI 1 in 16-22) and failed intubation in 1 in 312 (95%CI 1 in 169-667). Obese patients were over-represented compared with national baselines and associated with difficult, but not failed intubation. There was more evidence of change in practice for induction drugs (increased use of propofol) than neuromuscular blocking drugs (suxamethonium remains the most popular). There was evidence of improvement in practice, with increased monitoring and reversal of neuromuscular blockade (although this remains suboptimal). Despite a high risk of difficult intubation in this population, videolaryngoscopy was rarely used (1.9%)
