Expert Systems are computer-based applications that are used to solve problems as the expert thinks. Many college students majoring in Information Technology are difficult to get the thesis title topic even though it has been reading many journals and looking for some references. Therefore to make it easier college students, then the author wants to create an application where college students majoring in Information Technology can more easily get the thesis title topic so the work of thesis becomes more fluent and not obstructed. This app is web based. In system design, the author used several methods in his research that is method of Analyze, Design, and Implementation. Methods in the design of this expert system even this also used forward chaining method as tracking ahead and best first search method. And also using data collection method mean literature study and questionnaire from system that has been created. Kesantunan Mahasiswa Dalam Berbahasa Indonesia Di Media Sosial: Whatsapp, Facebook, Dan Instagram

Penelitian bertujuan menganalisis kesantunan mahasiswa dalam berbahasa Indonesia di media sosial, agar mahasiswa lebih memerhatikan kesantunan dalam berbahasa Indonesia melalui media sosial. Penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif untuk melukiskan realitas sosial yang kompleks dengan cara mendeskripsikan, mengklasifikasi, menganalisis, dan menafsirkan data sesuai dengan kondisi alaminya. Teknik pengumpulan data mengambil dari Screenshoot percakapan mahasiswa dari media sosial WhatsApp, Facebook, dan Instagram. Hasil penelitian menunjukan, 1) masih terdapat penggunaan kata yang ambigu dalam komunikasi tulis, 2) penggunaan kata “Maaf” untuk mengawali percakapan di media sosial, 3) ketidaksantunan dalam memberikan kata sapaan kepada dosen, 4) penggunaan bahasa santai (tidak sopan) kepada dosen, 5) ketidak santunan dalam pemilihan kata kepada dosen melalui media sosial, dan 6) ketidaksantunan dalam memberikan salam pembuka. Dosen memberikan arahan kepada mahasiswa melalui komunikasi tulis secara pribadi dan memberikan contoh komunikasi yang santun ketika Chating-an dengan mahasiswa. Respon mahasiswa setelah diberikan arahan oleh dosen, memilik dampak yang positif. Mahasiswa lebih memerhatikan kesantunan berbahasa ketika berkomuniasi dengan dosen, baik melalaui komunikasi tulis, maupun komunikasi lisan
