    Recent investment inflows through the capital and money market has begun to stimulate the Indonesian economy. New investment instruments are offered by the capital market for the purpose of accomodating investor's risk dan return preferences. Besides stocks and bonds as the primary securities in the capital market, the Indonesian government also issued long-term bonds as its means to obtain capital funds from investors. Derivative securities, such as options and futures, are contractual agreement between two parties to deliver and purchase some specified amount of financial assets or commodity at a specified date and specified price. Option contracts give its holder the right, not the obligation, to do something; while futures contract obligates the transacting parties to perform or fulfill the contract agreement. This paper discusses definition, terminologies related to derivative, profit profile and the use of derivative instruments in the company's hedging strategy.     Danau Kandung Suli merupakan sumber air utama bagi penduduk yang dimanfaatkan langsung untuk keperluan domestik seperti mandi dan mencuci, juga untuk budidaya ikan menggunakan keramba. Kegiatan domestik dan budidaya ikan di perairan Danau Kandung Suli akan mengakibatkan penurunan kualitas air. Kualitas air Danau Kandung Suli dalam penelitian ini diuji dengan metode Indeks Pencemaran (IP) dan disesuaikan dengan baku mutu PP No. 82/2001. Tahapan penelitian meliputi pengukuran kedalaman air, pengambilan sampel air, uji kualitas air dan analisis indeks pencemaran air. Sampel air yang dianalisis adalah sampel komposit yang diambil dari bagian dasar perairan dan permukaan perairan. Pengambilan sampel air dilakukan pada inlet sungai, lokasi pemukiman, sekitar keramba, serta kondisi alami air danau. Analisis kualitas air dilakukan secara in situ untuk parameter pH, suhu, kecerahan, TDS, DO, sedangkan analisis laboratorium dilakukan untuk parameter BOD, COD, TSS, fosfat, dan nitrat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan parameter suhu pada ke 5 titik pengamatan berkisar antara 28°C-31°C, kecerahan 0,66 m-0,86 m, pH 5,9-6,9, DO 2,92 mg/L-5,42mg/L, BOD 2,28 mg/L-3,9 mg/L, COD 24,26 mg/L-25,20 mg/L, TSS 30,18 mg/L- 50,10 mg/L, TDS 594,8 mg/L-950 mg/L, Fosfat 0,1 mg/L- 0,28 mg/L, dan Nitrat 5,97 mg/L-9,8 mg/L

    Finite Element Analysis With Static And Dynamic Conditions Of Spare Wheel Carrier For Oh 1526 Fabricated By Saph 440 Hot Rolled Steel

    Spare Wheel Carrier is a component that must exists in a heavy duty vehicle. The function of this part is to store additional wheel in order to deal with punctures that might happen to the tire. This part is usually placed in the middle of the vehicle in order to maintain the position of center of gravity of the vehicle. The purpose of this research is to analyze the strength of SAPH 440 as the manufacturing material of the Spare Wheel Carrier from one automotive company. The Spare Wheel Carrier will endure a load of a replacement tire for its entire cyclic load. The load itself will generate stresses and strains in the part, especially in the welding joint. Therefore, the analysis is to be done to provide the automotive company with the result to determine improvement that should be made. The method that is used in this research is using CATIA software to create the three dimensional model of the part. Later, we import the model to ANSYS software to analyze the equivalent stress, equivalent elastic strain, directional deformation, and cyclic load for steady load, live load, and shock load. The calculation shows that the part can endure the force from steady load, with the estimated cyclic load of 70,723 cycles. But for live load, the stress and strain will be happening around the yield strength and offset yield strength and the estimated cyclic load declining significantly to 6,358.6 cycles. Furthermore, the shock load result stated that the stress and the strain are exceeding the yield strength and reduces the estimated cyclic load to 1,843.9 cycles.     Analisa Aerodinamika Body Mobil Hemat Bahan Bakar Antawirya Konsep 3 Dengan Menggunakan Metode Computational Fluid Dynamics

    Fuel oil declining from year to year since oil resources of the earth are not renewable. Hence, a fuel saving plan is something of considerable importance today. Continued development of technology has enabled automotive engineers to place an emphasis on vehicle fuel consumption by keeping the drag coefficient (Cd) value to minimum, which in turn should improve fuel efficiency. This research is aimed at effort to prouce a more aerodynamic car body design, particularly to redesign the previous Antawirya car known as Antawirya Konsep 3, to simulate and compare the results of both cars, in term of the drag coefficient values, and to learn about the air flow pattern around the car. Car aerodynamics simulation are conducted in wind tunnel set as the computing domain by Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD). The k-epsilon turbulent realizable standard wall function method is used in this research, which is specified based on the phenomenon of validation in backward-facing step. This research also use the second order upwind as the discretization method for more accurate results. The number of each grid for previous Antawirya and Antawirya konsep 3 are 862391 and 639641. The results of the simulation show a reduction of drag coefficient on Antawirya konsep 3 compare to the previous Antawirya. Drag coefficient has shown a decrease by 24,93% at a rate of 10 km/h, a decrease by 25,20% at 20 km/h, a decrease by 26,01% at 30 km/h, a decrease by 26,02% at 40 km/h, a decrease by 26,37% at 50 km/h, and a decrease by 25,83% at 60 km/h. The separation and wake phenomenon also occurred on the back of the car body, as the separation and wake on Antawirya konsep 3 are shorter than the previous Antawirya design. Thevillage has some attractions for tourists to visit and this place is one of the existenceof an artificial reservoir named Embug Abhimanyu. Infrastructure tourism villageEramaya is still lacking such as access roads and the other public facilities are notequal.This type of this research is qualitative descriptive, which is intended toprovide a systematic description of the object studied. Source of data derived fromprimary data and secondary data. Determination of informants by using purposivesampling that peoples involved in the tourist village development. The collection ofdata, researchers use two (2) methods, the method are interview and literature study.The results showed that the government already has several programs todevelop Eramaya touristic village. The program is included to increase the quality ofHuman Resources (HR) Group of the tourism awareness Eramaya. Constraints facedby the government is the availability of a budget that is owned by the government aswell as the quality of community resources is still low.In implementing the program the government will work with thecommunity through a conscious group Eramaya travel. Government continues toattempt to hold the third person in the development of rural tourism however untilnow there is no private sector can join.Advice to the government is doing capital assistance in the improvement offacilities and infrastructure

    Pengobatan Infeksi Cacing Usus yang Ditularkan dengan Perantaraan Tanah (Soil Transmitted Helminths), dengan Pyrantel Pamoate, di YOGYAKARTA

    The use of pyrantel pamoate in controlling soil transmitted helminthic infection has been studied in a sample of population on low socio-economic level, consisting of workers of the Madukismo Suger Estate and their families. Pyrantel pamoate proved to be more effective to Ascaris lumbricoides and hookworm than to Trichuris trichiura infection. The cure rates found were 90.2%, 57.5% and 3.7% for A. lumbricoides, hookworm and T. trichiura respectively, while in the hookworm infection the drug was more effective to Ancylostomiasis duodenale than to Necator americanus. The result of the study showed, that 6 months after treatment was still found a reduction of the prevalence of A. lumbricoides infection to 27.2% (from 74.4% to 47.2%) and a reduction of the egg count from 6352 to 3348 per gram of stool. After one year the prevalence rate and the intensity of Ascaris infection reached almost the same level as that before treatment. As regards the hookworm infection, it seemed that the treatment was still effective after a period of one year. Prior to the treatment the prevalence rate was 36.3% and the egg count was J37 per gram of stool, while one year after treatment they were still reduced to 23.97c and 39 respectively

    Assesment of the public services quality is conducted to determine the gains of the service unit of BPJS Health Care Office in Batang. BPJS Health Care is expected to bring positive impacts for ensuring public health. However, there is a problem that the quality of services sometimes does not serve customers' expectation, which means that there is still lack of satisfaction with the services performed. This study aimed to examine the quality of BPJS Health Care participant services in Batang using five public service factors of SERVQUAL, Realibility, Responsiveness, Assurance, Empathy, and Tangibles.By using the theory of service quality (SERVQUAL) and then processed using data processing methods set out in KEPMENPAN number 25 of 2004 on the General Guidelines for Preparation of Public Satisfaction Index (HPI) using the 15 service elements to assess the quality of BPJS Health Care participant services in Batang. Respondents in this study were participants of BPJS Health Care in Batang which in class of Workers Not Wage Receivers or Independent Workers, a total of 100 respondents were used as samples.The results showed the public's assessment of the quality of BPJS Health Care participant services in Batang rated Good. From the data that has been processed, the value of SMEs to quality of service was 77 which refers to a category B or Good. However, from the study conducted there are still several things that need to be improved. From the 5 factors of service quality and 15 service elements there are some elements that still need improvement from BPJS Health Care Batang in order to achieve grade A or Very Good .The study recommends, a good service quality should be the top priority in doing services in order to achieve the satisfaction of BPJS Health Care customers in Batang

    Macrophage Phenotypes in Degenerative Joint Diseases

    Macrophages are plastic cells and depending on their phenotype can contribute to the inflammatory state of tissues. The main objective of this thesis is to explore the involvement of macrophages, in particular the role of their phenotypes, during processes of joint degeneration. The answers of the following questions contribute to the main objective: • How are macrophages of different phenotypes involved in inflammatory tissue degeneration and degenerative joint disease? • How can modulation of macrophage phenotypes be applied to control either inflammation or their response to biomaterials? The work described in this thesis revealed that pro-inflammatory, anti-inflammatory, and tissue repair macrophages each have their own behavior and association with OA development and progression. The studies in this thesis present methods on specifically modulating a macrophage phenotype within tissue with the ultimate goal: suppressing OA progression. These methods can be interpreted as guidelines for selecting the most suitable approach for modulation while taking into account the stage of the disease, the inflammatory state of the tissue, or the type of biomaterial in case of biomaterial based joint tissue regeneration.
