Direct Power Control Algorithm for Electric Traction Systems

    Get PDF
In this paper presents a direct power control-based algorithm is used for general filtering and unbalance compensation scheme for electric traction systems. This method can improve the power flow exchange between the grid and the load . As a result unbalanced load is seen as a balanced linear load. The proposed filter is evaluated on power substations for two-level and dual-converter in the power stage. This method is experimented simulated and shown a better oerformance

A new Adaptation in Bridgeless Interleaved Power Factor Correction design for High Efficiency

    Get PDF
Seeking the requirements of world’s energy conversions, developments are tracked. The research and development of the AC-DC conversion circuit for variable frequency control, which is closely related to human life. It uses the bridgeless rectifier circuit, coupled with the Interleaved Boost and “PFC” (Power Factor Correction) technology to design a high-efficiency AC/DC conversion circuit, to provide a load of 400V, 2KW. The system efficiency can reach up to 96%. The power factor is close to 1, the input current ripple is below 0.8A and the output voltage ripple is below 6V. This paper presents the comparison of various current control techniques employed for a bridgeless interleaved boost converter for improving the power quality. The major control strategies discussed in this paper are: peak current, average current mode and borderline current control

Detection and Privacy Preservation of Sensitive Attributes Using Hybrid Approach for Privacy Preserving Record Linkage

    Get PDF
Privacy Preserving Record Linkage (PPRL) is a major area of database research which entangles in colluding huge multiple heterogeneous data sets with disjunctive or additional information about an entity while veiling its private information. This paper gives an enhanced algorithm for merging two datasets using Sorted Neighborhood Deterministic approach and an improved Preservation algorithm which makes use of automatic selection of sensitive attributes and pattern mining over dynamic queries. We guarantee strong privacy, less computational complexity and scalability and address the legitimate concerns over data security and privacy with our approach

Development Of A Modified Svm Algorithm For Controlling The Rec Z-Source Npc Inverter

    Get PDF
The REC Z-source NPC inverter is accepted to come across applications in grid connected distributed generation (DG) systems based on renewable energy sources such as photovoltaic systems, wind turbines and fuel cell stacks. Two DG systems can be connected to the grid with only one REC Z-source NPC inverter thus plummeting the volume and cost while rising efficiency and facilitating control. The modulation of the REC Z-source NPC inverter was described using the carrier-based approach. However the space vector modulation (SVM) approach offers better harmonic performance compared with carrier-based pulse width modulation (PWM) strategy without zero-sequence voltage injection and can more expediently handle overall switching patterns and constraints and it is simple to implement

Effect of solar heater boxes on seed quality of adzuki bean (Vigna angularis)

    Get PDF
The effect of solar heater boxes on germination, moisture content and seedling characteristics of adzuki bean beans seeds V. angularis was determined using cardboard and plywood solar heater boxes. Results showed that, exposure to cardboard and plywood solar heater boxes did not show enormous effect on germination characters for adzuki bean seeds. In addition, experiment in oven was done for more verification. Exposure to temperatures of 40, 50, 60, and 70°C did not affect germination of adzuki bean seeds

In vitro direct rhizogenesis from Gerbera jamesonii Bolus leaf

The present report describes an original protocol for in vitro direct induction of roots from leaf explants of gerbera for the first time. Since gerbera has immense potential as a premium cut-flower, the major attempts were made on in vitro mass propagation chiefly through in vitro multiple shoot proliferation or callus regeneration. Nevertheless, rhizogenesis could be impending an unattempted method with its yet-to-be known advantages. In our study, the optimum conditions for direct root induction from leaf explants were assessed employing tissue culture technique. Leaves were inoculated to MS medium containing no or variable auxin sources and concentrations namely, 2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid, indole-3-acetic acid (IAA), indole-3-butyric acid or α-naphthaleneacetic acid for root induction. It was evident that the maximum root induction (with a frequency of 92.6 %) occurred on MS media fortified with 1.5 mg l−1 IAA, wherein root induction was observed as early as 11 days of culture and an average of ~19 roots with ~13 mm length was obtained from 4 cm2 leaf segment after 45 days of culture. Stereo microscopic observation revealed the induction of roots and gradual developmental stages of rhizogenesis. The efficiency of direct root induction without any interim growth stages (such as, callus or shoots) in our study offers a reproducible system that could provide a model protocol for more comprehensive developmental studies on root growth
