EffiTest: Efficient Delay Test and Statistical Prediction for Configuring Post-silicon Tunable Buffers
At nanometer manufacturing technology nodes, process variations significantly
affect circuit performance. To combat them, post- silicon clock tuning buffers
can be deployed to balance timing bud- gets of critical paths for each
individual chip after manufacturing. The challenge of this method is that path
delays should be mea- sured for each chip to configure the tuning buffers
properly. Current methods for this delay measurement rely on path-wise
frequency stepping. This strategy, however, requires too much time from ex-
pensive testers. In this paper, we propose an efficient delay test framework
(EffiTest) to solve the post-silicon testing problem by aligning path delays
using the already-existing tuning buffers in the circuit. In addition, we only
test representative paths and the delays of other paths are estimated by
statistical delay prediction. Exper- imental results demonstrate that the
proposed method can reduce the number of frequency stepping iterations by more

Spin Relaxation Times of Single-Wall Carbon Nanotubes
We have measured temperature ()- and power-dependent electron spin
resonance in bulk single-wall carbon nanotubes to determine both the
spin-lattice and spin-spin relaxation times, and . We observe that
increases linearly with from 4 to 100 K, whereas {\em
decreases} by over a factor of two when is increased from 3 to 300 K. We
interpret the trend as spin-lattice relaxation via
interaction with conduction electrons (Korringa law) and the decreasing
dependence of as motional narrowing. By analyzing the latter, we
find the spin hopping frequency to be 285 GHz. Last, we show that the Dysonian
lineshape asymmetry follows a three-dimensional variable-range hopping behavior
from 3 to 20 K; from this scaling relation, we extract a localization length of
the hopping spins to be 100 nm.Comment: 6 pages, 3 figure
mixing effects on charmonium and meson decays
We include the meson into the -- mixing formalism
constructed in our previous work, where represents the pseudoscalar
gluball. The mixing angles in this tetramixing matrix are constrained by
theoretical and experimental implications from relevant hadronic processes.
Especially, the angle between and is found to be about
from the measured decay widths of the meson. The pseudoscalar glueball
mass , the pseudoscalar densities and the U(1) anomaly
matrix elements associated with the mixed states are solved from the anomalous
Ward identities. The solution GeV obtained from the
-- mixing is confirmed, while grows to above the pion
mass, and thus increases perturbative QCD predictions for the branching ratios
. We then analyze the -mixing effects on charmonium
magnetic dipole transitions, and on the branching
ratios and CP asymmetries, which further improve the consistency between
theoretical predictions and data. A predominant observation is that the
mixing enhances the perturbative QCD predictions for
by 18%, but does not alter those for . The puzzle due to the

Families of Graphs With Chromatic Zeros Lying on Circles
We define an infinite set of families of graphs, which we call -wheels and
denote , that generalize the wheel () and biwheel ()
graphs. The chromatic polynomial for is calculated, and
remarkably simple properties of the chromatic zeros are found: (i) the real
zeros occur at for even and for odd;
and (ii) the complex zeros all lie, equally spaced, on the unit circle
in the complex plane. In the limit, the zeros
on this circle merge to form a boundary curve separating two regions where the
limiting function is analytic, viz., the exterior and

Stable directions for small nonlinear Dirac standing waves
We prove that for a Dirac operator with no resonance at thresholds nor
eigenvalue at thresholds the propagator satisfies propagation and dispersive
estimates. When this linear operator has only two simple eigenvalues close
enough, we study an associated class of nonlinear Dirac equations which have
stationary solutions. As an application of our decay estimates, we show that
these solutions have stable directions which are tangent to the subspaces
associated with the continuous spectrum of the Dirac operator. This result is
the analogue, in the Dirac case, of a theorem by Tsai and Yau about the
Schr\"{o}dinger equation. To our knowledge, the present work is the first
mathematical study of the stability problem for a nonlinear Dirac equation.Comment: 62 page
Life table analysis of Diaphorina citri (Hemiptera: Psyllidae) infesting sweet orange (Citrus sinensis) in SĂŁo Paulo
An ecological life table for eggs and nymphs of Diaphorina citri Kuwayama (Hemiptera:
Psyllidae) was constructed with data obtained from orange orchards (Citrus sinensis Osbeck) in 2 regions of the State of SĂŁo Paulo, over 4 generations in the period from XI-2006
to V-2007, comprising spring, summer, and fall seasons. Young growing shoots with D. citri
eggs present were identifed, and live individuals were counted until adult emergence. No
predatory arthropods were observed in association with D. citri eggs and nymphs during
the study. The mean parasitism of fourth- and ffth-instar nymphs by Tamarixia radiata
Waterston (Hymenoptera: Eulophidae) was 2.3%. The durations of the eggâadult period
were similar among the 4 generations, ranging from 18.0 to 24.7 d (at mean temperatures
ranging from 21.6 to 26.0 °C) and followed the temperature requirement models obtained
in the laboratory for D. citri. However, survival from the egg to the adult stage for the same
period varied considerably from 1.7 to 21.4%; the highest mortalities were observed in the
egg and small nymphal (frst- to thirdinstar) stages, which were considered to be key phases

ovos e ninfas de D. citri durante o estudo. A taxa média de parasitismo de ninfas de quarto
e quinto Ănstares por Tamarixia radiata Waterson (Hymenoptera: Eulophidae) foi de 2.3%.
A duração do perĂodo de ovo a adulto foi semelhante entre as quatro geraçÔes, variando de
18.0 a 24.7 dias (com temperaturas médias de 21.6 a 26.0 °C) e seguiram os modelos de
exigencias térmicas obtidas em laboratório para D. citri. Todavia, a sobrevivencia de ovo
atĂ© o estĂĄgio adulto variou consideravelmente para o mesmo perĂodo, de 1.7 a 21.4%, sendo
que as maiores mortalidades foram observadas nos estĂĄgios de ovos e ninfas pequenas (de
primeiro a terceiro Ănstares), as quais foram consideradas fases chaves para o crescimento

Optical Spectroscopic Survey of High-latitude WISE-selected Sources
We report on the results of an optical spectroscopic survey at high Galactic latitude (|b| â„ 30°) of a sample of WISE-selected targets, grouped by WISE W1 (λ_eff = 3.4 ÎŒm) flux, which we use to characterize the sources WISE detected. We observed 762 targets in 10 disjoint fields centered on ultraluminous infrared galaxy candidates using DEIMOS on Keck II. We find 0.30 ± 0.02 galaxies arcminâ2 with a median redshift of z = 0.33 ± 0.01 for the sample with W1 â„ 120 ÎŒJy. The foreground stellar densities in our survey range from 0.23 ± 0.07 arcminâ2 to 1.1 ± 0.1 arcminâ2 for the same sample. We obtained spectra that produced science grade redshifts for â„90% of our targets for sources with W1 flux â„120 ÎŒJy that also had an i-band flux gsim 18 ÎŒJy. We used this for targeting very preliminary data reductions available to the team in 2010 August. Our results therefore present a conservative estimate of what is possible to achieve using WISE's Preliminary Data Release for the study of field galaxies
