    College student offering A-A of Biology Education 2013 University of Malang force has a problem in rhetoric, seen from the use of language which is less effective at teaching basic skills performance. These problems, if left unchecked will have an impact on the difficulty of the increase in basic teaching skills. This study aims to improve basic teaching skills in materials explaining skills and open lessons. This research is a classroom action research (PTK) based Lesson Study. Data basic teaching skills gained through observation and documentation. Data were analyzed by using qualitative descriptive analysis. The results showed that the basic teaching skills have increased, especially in explaining the skill and open skill lessons. Based on the results of this study concluded that the application of modeling combined with Student Investation can improve basic teaching skills of students on the material to explain the skills and open lessons.Keywords : Modeling, Student Investation, Lesson Study, Teaching Basic Capabilitie

    Persepsi Mahasiswa terhadap Pembelajaran Jarak Jauh Berbasis Proyek pada Mata Kuliah Game Learning

    Mata kuliah Game Learning adalah mata kuliah berbasis proyek berupa pembuatan desain pembelajaran serta media pembelajaran game edukasi. Namun, pembelajaran berbasis proyek merupakan salah satu strategi pembelajaran yang cukup menantang untuk diterapkan dalam pembelajaran jarak jauh. Oleh karena itu, kita perlu mengetahui persepsi mahasiswa terhadap untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi mahasiswa terhadap pembelajaran jarak jauh berbasis proyek yang diselenggarakan selama masa pandemi COVID-19. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode campuran (mixed method) dengan rancangan explanatory. Data kuantitatif dan kualitatif dikumpulkan menggunakan instrumen angket, wawancara, dan observasi. Subjek penelitian adalah 25 mahasiswa peserta mata kuliah Game Learning yang menggunakan strategi pembelajaran berbasis proyek yang dilaksanakan pada semester genap 2020/2021. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pembelajaran berbasis proyek efektif diterapkan dalam pembelajaran jarak jauh dengan beberapa keterbatasan. Kesimpulannya adalah pembelajaran berbasis proyek dapat diterapkan dalam pembelajaran jarak jauh dengan merancang sesuai dengan kebutuhan pembelajaran untuk memastikan setiap anggota kelompok dapat berkontribusi terhadap proyek secara efektif

    Korelasi Kemampuan Berpikir Reflektif Terhadap Self-Confidence

    Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui korelasi kemampuan berpikir reflektif terhadap self-confidence peserta didik di kelas X MIPA SMA Negeri 1 Talaga. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Juni 2020. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah korelasional dengan populasi seluruh kelas X MIPA sebanyak 7 kelas dengan jumlah peserta didik berjumlah 252 orang. Sampel diambil menggunakan teknik purposive sampling berupa kelas X MIPA 6. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan terdiri dari instrumen tes untuk kemampuan berpikir reflektif dan kuisioner untuk self-confidence. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji korelasi bivariate dan uji regresi sederhana. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat korelasi kemampuan berpikir reflektif terhadap self-confidence (R= 0.633; R Square= 0.401). Sehingga kontribusi dari kemampuan berpikir reflektif terhadap self-confidence sebesar 40.1%

    Biology 21st century is the integration and reintegration of sub disciplines of biology, and the integration with other disciplines to address social problems. This research aims to determine the application of Blended-Problem Based Learning, student activities, and student response in learning of biology. This research is a survey with a qualitative descriptive approach. The results showed that the positive of student activities in learning is satisfactory, while the student response to learning is good. Based on the findings, it was concluded that the Blended-Problem Based Learning can be applied and was accepted as a model in learning. Biologi abad 21 merupakan integrasi dan mengintegrasikan kembali sub disiplin ilmu biologi, serta integrasi biologi dengan disiplin ilmu lain untuk mengatasi permasalahan sosial. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan Blended-Problem Based Learning, aktivitas belajar, dan respon siswa dalam pembelajaran biologi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian survei dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Data hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aktivitas positif siswa dalam pembelajaran memuaskan, sedangkan respon siswa baik terhadap pembelajaran. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, disimpulkan bahwa Blended-Problem Based Learning dapat diterapkan dan diterima sebagai model dalam pembelajaran

    Comparison of Preparedness Levels of High School Students in Facing Disasters in West Java Province

    The logical consequence of the natural state of West Java province, prone to disasters, requires humans there to be ready to deal with it. This includes senior high school students who get the material on disaster mitigation in schools and must be prepared to deal with disasters in their respective regions. The critical level of preparedness will minimize the possibility of losing a life. The research objective is to analyze the level of readiness of high school students in West Java province in the face of the three disasters that often occur in each region. The approach in this study uses quantitative descriptive with a survey method. The results showed that the level of preparedness of students in Garut for landslides has a score of 19.00, categorized Ready; the students in Tasikmalaya for earthquake disaster had the smallest value, namely, 18.88, categorized Ready, and the students in Pangandaran district for tsunami had the highest score is 22.32 and categorized Ready. In conclusion, there are significant differences in the preparedness of students in Garut, Tasikmalaya, and Pangandaran District

    Investigating Speaking Anxiety In Virtual World

    The purpose of this study is to investigate speaking anxiety that occurred in the virtual world experienced by the higher education students in a speaking class since they were assigned to upload their self-recorded video to a social media that is currently used as a learning platform in a public speaking course, Facebook. As an alternative strategy to build speaking confidence because the students had sufficient time to prepare and upload the best video on the platform, still their speaking anxiety can be seen well. Accordingly, the researchers are interested in investigating the factors associating the speaking anxiety. Semi structured interviews were conducted to two undergraduate EFL students who had taken the Public Speaking subject.  The obtained data were analyzed using Miles and Huberman framework (1994). The findings reveal that factors causing speaking anxiety in the virtual world are cognitive, linguistic and affective, learning experiences, activities and habits out-of- class, and environments
