    Developing interactive e-module based on realistic mathematics education approach and mathematical literacy ability

    Teaching and learning activities are carried out online during the pandemic situation. This condition makes the teaching and learning process in the classroom requires teaching materials that can support the learning process. However, some teachers still use teaching materials commonly used during face-to-face learning, which is irrelevant for offline learning. Therefore, teachers need alternative interactive teaching materials that can facilitate online learning. This study aims to produce teaching materials in an interactive e-module based on the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach with the content of number pattern that is valid, practical, and have potentially affected the eight-grade students' mathematical literacy skills. The research method used is design research with type of development studies which include two main stages, namely the preliminary design and the formative evaluation. The data collection instruments used were content and media expert validation sheets, student response questionnaires, and pretest and posttest questions to measure mathematical literacy skills. This research produces an RME-based e-module on number pattern material that is valid, practical, and potentially affects mathematical literacy skills. The results showed that the e-module was valid in content and media quality with very good criteria. Next, the e-module has also been practical from assessing student responses with good criteria. Finally, the e-module can potentially improve students' mathematical literacy skills, which is indicated by the increase in students' mathematical literacy skills after learning to use the e-module. In addition, the e-module developed in this study contributes as alternative teaching material for teachers in the online learning system

    The purpose of this research is to improve students' problem solving skills using Rigorous Mathematical Thinking (RMT) approach.  Qualitative research method with the type of Classroom Action Research (CAR). This research was conducted in class VIII H of SMP N 2 Sewon, Bantul. As a data collection technique used consists of tests, observations, and interviews. This research data analysis technique uses an interactive analysis model according to Miles, Matthew B, Michael. Huberman (2014). The results showed that mathematics learning using rigorous mathematical thinking (RMT) approach could improve the problem solving abilities of class VIII H students of SMP N 2 Sewon.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa dengan menggunakan pendekatan Rigorous Mathematical Thinking (RMT). Metode penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di kelas VIII H SMP N 2 Sewon, Bantul. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan berupa tes, observasi, dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data penelitian ini menggunakan model analisis interaktif menurut Miles, Matthew B, Michael.Huberman (2014). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran matematika dengan pendekatan Rigorous Matematical Thinking (RMT) dapat meningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa kelas VIII H SMP N 2 Sewon

    PEMBERDAYAAN MASYARAKAT MELALUI PROGRAM PERILAKU HIDUP BERSIH DAN SEHAT DI KAMPUNG KAUMAN KOTA YOGYAKARTA

    Salah satu tema KKN Alternatif di Kampung Kauman, Kecamatan Gondomanan, Kota Yogyakarta adalah Program Kesehatan Lingkungan dalam masyarakat. Hal ini terlihat masih terdapat masyarakat yang belum sadar akan pentingnya menjaga kebersihan di lingkungan sekitar rumah warga. Maka Kuliah Kerja Nyata Alternatif LXI Divisi I.D menggelar program kesehatan lingkungan bagi  warga Kampung Kauman. Metode pelaksanaan program KKN meliputi pendidikan masyarakat dan praktek. Bentuk kegiatannya yaitu penyuluhan PHBS (Perilaku Hidup Bersih dan Sehat) dan penyuluhan kesehatan masyarakat serta olahraga senam rutin. Program ini bertujuan untuk memberdayakan masyarakat Kampung Kauman dalam program kesehatan masyarakat dan lingkungan. Dampak dari kegiatan ini adalah: 1) masyarakat dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan pentingnya tentang perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat, 2) masyarakat dapat menciptakan kesadaran untuk dapat menjaga dan menerapkan perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat, 3) ibu-ibu lansia dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang cara menjaga alat reproduksi wanita
