Finiteness of meromorphic functions on an annulus sharing four values regardless of multiplicity
summary:This paper deals with the finiteness problem of meromorphic funtions on an annulus sharing four values regardless of multiplicity. We prove that if three admissible meromorphic functions , , on an annulus share four distinct values regardless of multiplicity and have the {\it complete identity set} of positive counting function, then or or . This result deduces that there are at most two admissible meromorphic functions on an annulus sharing a value with multiplicity truncated to level and sharing other three values regardless of multiplicity. This result also implies that there are at most three admissible meromorphic functions on an annulus sharing four values regardless of multiplicities. These results are a generalization and improvement of the previous results on finiteness problem of meromorphic functions on sharing four values
VBD-MT Chinese-Vietnamese Translation Systems for VLSP 2022
We present our systems participated in the VLSP 2022 machine translation
shared task. In the shared task this year, we participated in both translation
tasks, i.e., Chinese-Vietnamese and Vietnamese-Chinese translations. We build
our systems based on the neural-based Transformer model with the powerful
multilingual denoising pre-trained model mBART. The systems are enhanced by a
sampling method for backtranslation, which leverage large scale available
monolingual data. Additionally, several other methods are applied to improve
the translation quality including ensembling and postprocessing. We achieve
38.9 BLEU on ChineseVietnamese and 38.0 BLEU on VietnameseChinese on the public
test sets, which outperform several strong baselines
An Image-Based Rice Weighing Estimation Approach on Clock Type Weighing Scale Using Deep Learning and Geometric Transformations
AI impacts surrounding human life, such as the economy, health, education, and agricultural production; however, the crop prices in the harvest season are still on manual calculation, which causes doubts about accuracy. In this study, an image-based approach is proposed to help farmers calculate rice prices more accurately. YOLOv5 is used to detect and extract the scales in the images taken from the harvesting of rice crops. Then, various image processing techniques, such as brightness balance, background removal, etc., are compiled to determine the needle position and number on the extracted scale. Lastly, geometric transformations are proposed to calculate the weight. A real dataset of 709 images is used for the experiment. The proposed method achieves good results in terms of [email protected] at 0.995, mAP@[0.5:0.95] at 0.830 for scale detection, and MAE at 3.7 for weight calculation
The influence of income tax rate, tunneling incentives, and return on equity on transfer pricing behavior of foreign direct investment enterprises in Vietnam
The utilization of competitive advantages in international trading has fortuitously put transnational manufacturing enterprises in the position of distorting transfer pricing techniques to maximize profits. The paper aims to explore the influence of the determinants on the transfer pricing behavior of foreign direct investment enterprises in Vietnam. The paper collects primary data from the financial statements of 96 foreign direct investment enterprises in Vietnam over six years from 2016 to 2021. The paper gets a final panel data of 576 observations to be processed by the fixed effects model estimation method using EViews 12. Supporting agency theory and positive accounting theory, the results show that the income tax rate negatively influences transfer pricing behavior, while tunneling incentives and return on equity positively affect transfer pricing behavior. The paper highlights that government agencies should reperform and implement fiscal policies synchronously to be able to monitor transfer pricing behaviors of foreign direct investment enterprises in Vietnam
THE TRANSFER MATRIX METHOD FOR MODAL ANALYSIS OF CRACKED MULTISTEP BEAM
The present study addresses the modal analysis of multistep beam with arbitrary number of cracks by using the transfer matrix method and modal testing technique. First, there is conducted general solution of free vibration problem for uniform beam element with arbitrary number of cracks that allows one to simplify the transfer matrix for cracked multistep beam. The transferring beam state needs to undertake only at the steps of beam but not through crack positions. Such simplified the transfer matrix method makes straightforward to investigate effect of cracks mutually with cross-section step in beam on natural frequencies. It is revealed that step-down and step-up in beam could modify notably sensitivity of natural frequencies to crack so that the analysis provides useful indication for crack detection in multistep beam. MODAL ANALYSIS OF MULTISTEP TIMOSHENKO BEAM WITH A NUMBER OF CRACKS
Modal analysis of cracked multistep Timoshenko beam is accomplished by the Transfer Matrix Method (TMM) based on a closed-form solution for Timoshenko uniform beam element. Using the solution allows significantly simplifying application of the conventional TMM for multistep beam with multiple cracks. Such simplified transfer matrix method is employed for investigating effect of beam slenderness and stepped change in cross section on sensitivity of natural frequencies to cracks. It is demonstrated that the transfer matrix method based on the Timoshenko beam theory is usefully applicable for beam of arbitrary slenderness while the Euler-Bernoulli beam theory is appropriate only for slender one. Moreover, stepwise change in cross-section leads to a jump in natural frequency variation due to crack at the steps. Chemical composition and antibacterial activities of the ethanol extracts from the leaves and tubers of Amorphophallus pusillus
Amorphophallus pusillus is a rare species which is found only in Binh Chau-Phuoc Buu Nature Reserve. In this study, we determined 7 flavonoid compounds in tuber and leaf of A. pusillus, including of vitexin, orientin, vitexin 2?-O-glucoside, cyanidin 3-O-rutinoside, pelargonidin 3-O-glucoside, schaftoside, and peonidin 3-O-rutinoside via liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LC-MS). Furthermore, we have proved the antibacterial activities of ethanol extracts obtained from A. pusillus leaves and tubers in the first time. The data revealed that ethanol extracts could inhibit the growth of 6 tested microorganisms, such as Bacillus cereus, Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Salmonella enteritidis, Salmonella typhimurium, and Staphylococcus aureus. These data suggested the potential application of ethanol extracts isolated from this species as natural antimicrobial agents for treatment of infection caused by bacteria, especially in dermatologic and enteric infections
Determinants Influencing Entrepreneurial Intention in Hanoi, Vietnam
This research employed survey data from 204 students between two groups of economics and technical majors in Hanoi city for assessing the impact levels of determinants on entrepreneurial intention. The results show that a number of determinants including Need for achievement, Self-efficacy, and Instrumental readiness have positive impacts on student’s entrepreneurial intention. Besides, this study is also to create a basis for comparative students among different economics and technical majors, work exoperience, and gender. These findings are the basis to recommend policies and solutions to promote entrepreneurship movement in Vietnam.
