Rumours, sects and rallies : the ethnic politics of recent Hmong Millenarian movements in Vietnam’s highlands

Contrary to modernist assumptions, millenarianism has not died out but continues to influence the politics of many marginalised groups in upland Southeast Asia, including the Hmong. This article summarises and analyses post-World War II Hmong millenarian activity in Vietnam, focusing on three case studies from the 1980s onwards, within the political backdrop of ongoing government suspicions of ethnic separatism and foreign interference. Far from being isolated or peripheral, Hmong millenarian rumours and movements interact with overseas diasporas, human rights agencies and international religious networks to influence state responses, sometimes in unexpected ways

Nghiên cứu môi trường và giá thể phù hợp để sản xuất nấm Hoàng Kim (Pleurotus citrinopileatus Singer)

Nấm Hoàng Kim vừa là thức ăn bồi bổ sức khỏe vừa là dược phẩm. Đề tài được thực hiện nhằm mục tiêu tìm ra các loại môi trường nhân giống và loại cơ chất phù hợp để trồng nấm cho năng suất, tiết kiệm thời gian, công sức và chi phí đồng thời đảm bảo chất lượng. Kết quả nghiên cứu môi trường thạch cho thấy môi trường Potato Dextrose Agar (PDA) bổ sung muối khoáng (PDA-MK) là cho tơ lan kín đĩa sớm nhất (kín đĩa 9 cm trong vòng 8 ngày, tốc độ 0,95 cm/ngày), sợi tơ tốt, dày, phân nhánh nhiều so với các môi trường PDA và PDA bổ sung nước dừa. Ở môi trường các loại hạt, qua kết quả nghiên cứu trên 3 môi trường: hạt lúa, hạt gạo và hạt bắp, thì môi trường hạt bắp có tốc độ lan tơ cao nhất (0,53 cm/ngày), đầy kín ống nghiệm 20 cm trung bình 18,6 ngày. Kết quả nghiên cứu trên cơ chất trồng nấm để thu quả thể: (1) Tốc độ lan tơ: nghiệm thức rơm phối trộn bột bắp (bột bắp 11,6%) đạt tốc độ lan tơ nhanh nhất (17,77 cm ở giai đoạn 30 NSC), (2) Năng suất nấm tươi trên bịch phôi: nghiệm thức rơm phối trộn bột bắp (bột bắp 11,6%)  (156 g/bịch)
