    CULTURE AND ITS IMPACT ON THE WORKING PERFORMANCE OF GOVERNMENT STAFF THROUGH JOB SATISFACTION

    The factor of culture in connection with job satisfaction appears prominent nowadays. Thisstudy attempts to determine the direct influence of culture on the job performance of CivilServants. It also determines the direct effect of job satisfaction on the performance of CivilServants as well as to determine the indirect influence of culture on job performance throughjob satisfaction of Civil Servants. This research was conducted at the Office of Tourism andCulture Jember district for 60 days by giving questionnaires to the existing Civil Servant inthe Office of Tourism and Culture Jember district using census techniques where the sampleis all of the existing Civil Servants in the Office of Tourism and Culture Jember regency consistingof 22 people. Research method used explanatory research to explain the influenceamong the variables. Data were analyzed using path analysis. The results show that there isa direct influence of culture on job performance by 72.5%, on job satisfaction performanceby 35.6%, and there is no direct link between culture and job performance through job satisfactionof 20.9%

    Abstract: The study entitled influence of organizational culture and leadership toward the commitment of organizational committee at Al Jauhar Islamic Boarding School Sumbersari Jember. Students of Al Jauhar are aim to be analyzed of the influence of organizational culture and leadership toward commitment of organizational committee in Al Jauhar Islamic Boarding School Sumbersari Jember simultaneously and partially. The samples used in this study are 37 people by using population sampling tachnique. Data collection methods used in this study by using questionnaires, interviews, and literature. The analysis includes validity, reliability, normality test, multiple linear regression analysis, multicoloniarity test, Hete roskidastity test, T-test, F test and Coefficient of Determination test and Quadrant test. From the results of multiple linear regression analysis by using t-test suggests that there is a positive and significant influence between the variables of organizational culture on commitment of organizational committee. Thus, the first hypothesis assumed that organizational culture had a positive and significant effect on organizational commitment of Al Jauhar was proven or accepted. The test result states that it has a positive and significant influence between the variables of leadership on commitment of organizational committee. Thus, the second hypothesis which assumes the leadership of positive and significant effect on organizational commitment of Al Jauhar’s committee is not proven or rejected. The results of the multiple linear regression analysis of the organizational culture and leadership on commitment of organizational committee. Thus, the third hypothesis is thought that the organizational culture and leadership have a positive and significant impact on organizational commitment of Al Jauhar’s committee is proven or accepted.     Abstract: The library of University of Jember (UNEJ) has implemented ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System (QMS) since 2008. The implementation of ISO 9001:2008 QMS is by increasing the quality of product, service, and employee performance. Therefore, this research aims to significantly analyze the direct influence of ISO 9001:2008 on work environment, work discipline, and employee performance, and the indirect influence of ISO 9001:2008 implementation on employee performance through work environment and work discipline. The sample of this explanatory research consists of 50 respondents, i.e., the employees of UNEJ library. Data were analyzed using path analysis run with SPSS 18. Results show that the implementation of ISO 9001:2008 has a positive and significant influence on work environment, employee discipline, and employee performance; work environment has a positive and significant influence on employee performance; and work discipline has a positive and significant influence on employee performance.     Abstract: This study is aimed to analyze the effect of leadership, work environment,and reward on the employee’s performance at Perum Pegadaian Besuki. The population was all employees of Perum Pegadaian Besuki. The samples were consisted of32 respondents. Multiple linear regression was employed as the method of analysis.     Analisis Pengaruh Knowledge Sharing Dalam Penerapan Sistem Manajemen Mutu Iso 9001:2008 Terhadap Kinerja Inovasi Dan Kinerja Karyawan

    Recently, the sugar industry is facing a very tight market competition. This condition encourages companies to improve quality and competitiveness immediately through improvement of customer satisfaction consistently and continuously. The purpose of this research is to examine and discuss the effect of knowledge sharing in applying ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System to the performance of employees innovation and performance at Jatiroto Sugar Factory. Data obtained through questionnaires as 130 respondents with proportional stratified random sampling. Data analysis uses The Structural Equation Modelling (SEM). The result of the research shows a significant influence between : 1) knowledge sharing on the implementation of ISO 9001:2008; 2) knowledge sharing on innovation performance, 3) knowledge sharing on employee performance, 4) implementation of ISO 9001:2008 on innovation performance, and 5) implementation of ISO 9001:2008 on employee performance. The indirect effect was found a significant in knowledge sharing on innovation performance through the application of ISO 9001:2008. However, there is no influence of knowledge sharing on employee performance through the application of ISO 9001:2008

    Abstract: The demand on performance improvement, including financial performance, requires local government to utilize advanced information technology. The Government of Jember Regency tries to improve the financial management quality by applying a computer application named Regional Financial Management Information System or called as Finance SIMDA. SIMDA application develops in line with the latest information technology, namely cloud computing. Since March 18th, 2015, the Government of Jember has implemented cloud-based SIMDA called Cloud Finance SIMDA. The application of Cloud SIMDA is resulting in a more practical, effective, and efficient financial management. The change from the old system to the new one needs to be analyzed to examine the system effectiveness as it is expected to positively affect the increase of performance, information, economy, control, efficiency, and service or often called as PIECES (Performance, Information, Economic, Control, Efficiency, and Services) variables. This research aims to analyze the effectiveness of Finance SIMDA implementation, before and after using the cloud computing technology, with PIECES variables. This is a quantitative research with survey method. The results show that there is a difference in the effectiveness of the implementation before and after the application of cloud-based Finance SIMDA as seen from the PIECES variables.  Keywords: Finance SIMDA, Effectiveness, PIECES Variables

    Abstract: This study aims: (1) to analyze the influence of personality type to the Organization Citizenship Behavior (OCB) in  Ijen Crater Natural Park; (2) to analyze the influence of the organization's commitment to the Organization Citizenship Behavior (OCB) in Ijen Crater Natural Park; (3) to analyze the influence of motivation to the Organization Citizenship Behavior (OCB) in Ijen Crater Natural Park; (4) to analyze the influence of personality type on the performance of officers in Ijen Crater Natural Park; (5) to analyze the effect of organizational commitment on performance of staff in Ijen Crater Natural Park; (6) to analyze the influence of motivation on the performance of officers in Ijen Crater Natural Park; (7) to analyze the Organization Citizenship Behavior (OCB) on the performance of officers in Ijen Crater Natural Park. The number of samples taken are 35 respondents (the employees of KSDA Sector Region III Jember, Conservation Section Region V Banyuwangi, Conservation Resort Region 18 Kawah Ijen).Result of the study indicates that (1) the officer's personality type has positive effect but not significant on the Organization Citizenship Behavior (OCB) in Ijen Crater Natural Park.; (2) organizational commitment has significant positive effect on the Organization Citizenship Behavior (OCB) in the Ijen Crater Natural Park. (3) officers motivation has positive effect but not significant on the Organization Citizenship Behavior (OCB) in Ijen Crater Natural Park.; (4) personality type has significant positive effect on the performance of officers in Ijen Crater Natural Park; (5) organizational commitment has significant positive effect on the performance of officers in Ijen Crater Natural Park; (6) motivation has positive effect but not significant on the performance of officers in Ijen Crater Natural Park; (7) Organization Citizenship Behavior (OCB) has positive and significant impact on the performance of officers in Ijen Crater Natural Park.
