Geometry of singularities of a Pinchuk's map

We describe a singular variety associated to a Pinchuk's map and calculate its homology intersection. The result provides geometries of singularities of this Pinchuk's map

An algorithm to classify the asymptotic set associated to a polynomial mapping

We provide an algorithm to classify the asymptotic sets of the dominant polynomial mappings F: \C^3 \to \C^3 of degree 2, using the definition of the so-called "{\it fa\c{c}ons}" in \cite{Thuy}. We obtain a classification theorem for the asymptotic sets of dominant polynomial mappings F: \C^3 \to \C^3 of degree 2. This algorithm can be generalized for the dominant polynomial mappings F: \C^n \to \C^n of degree dd, with any (n,d)(N)2(n, d) \in {(\N^*)}^2

A remark on a polynomial mapping from \C^n to \C^n

We provide relations of the results obtained in the articles \cite{ThuyCidinha} and \cite{VuiThang}. Moreover, we provides some examples to illustrate these relations, using the software {\it Maple} to complete the complicate calculations of the examples. We give some discussions on these relations.Comment: arXiv admin note: text overlap with arXiv:1503.0807

A COMPARISON OF THE LIFE CYCLE RITUALS OF THE MNONG ETHNIC GROUP IN DAM RONG DISTRICT (LAM DONG PROVINCE) AND DAK SONG DISTRICT (DAK NONG PROVINCE)

    Get PDF
The Mnong are an ethnic minority of the Central Highlands concentrated in Dak Nong, Dak Lak, and Lam Dong provinces. In their long residence in these regions and with continuous creativity, the Mnong have created cultural characteristics shown in their customs, beliefs, and festivals. Life cycle rituals are one of them. From a comparative perspective, this article delves into the spiritual beliefs in two areas where many Mnong live, Dam Rong District (Lam Dong) and Dak Song District (Dak Nong), to find similarities and differences in the beliefs and expressions of their life cycle rituals. On that basis, some solutions are proposed to help preserve their ethnic identities through the life cycle rituals with the purpose of preserving the cultural diversity of the Mnong residents in the Central Highlands. The Mnong are an ethnic minority of the Central Highlands concentrated in Dak Nong, Dak Lak, and Lam Dong provinces. Molecular Kondo effect in flat-band lattices

    Get PDF
The Kondo effect of a single magnetic impurity embedded in the Lieb lattice is studied by the numerical renormalization group. When the band flatness is present in the local density of states, it quenches the participation of all dispersive electrons in the Kondo singlet formation, and reduces the many-body Kondo problem to a two-electron molecular Kondo problem. The two-electron analog of the many-body Kondo singlet, a quantum entanglement of two spins, is stable at low temperature, and the impurity contributions to thermodynamical and dynamical quantities are qualitatively different from that obtained in the conventional Kondo effect in systems without flat bands. The existence conditions of the molecular Kondo effect in narrow band systems are also discussed
