Legged Fire Fighter Robot Movement Using PID
Proportional Integral Derivative (PID) control is a control system commonly used by industry. Approximately 90% of industrial equipment uses a PID controller because it is easy to use. In the Indonesian Fire Extinguisher Robot Contest (IFERC), the contested robots must follow the contours of the walls of the arena. A Fire extinguisher robot navigation was chosen because the race arena of the competition consisted of walls with different aisles and rooms. The navigation robots used PID control. This study designed and implemented a control algorithm for legged fire extinguishing robots using the PID method, where the PID control was processed in a microcontroller. The angles for each servo motor generated by the calculation of the PID enable the robot to navigate by taking decisions to move quickly or slowly, turn right, turn left and stop. The robot's proximity sensor data and fire sensors enable the fire to be extinguished. The result showed that the robot can carry out its duties optimally
In vivo and in vitro studies of Cry5B and nicotinic acetylcholine receptor agonist anthelmintics reveal a powerful and unique combination therapy against intestinal nematode parasites
BACKGROUND: The soil-transmitted nematodes (STNs) or helminths (hookworms, whipworms, large roundworms) infect the intestines of ~1.5 billion of the poorest peoples and are leading causes of morbidity worldwide. Only one class of anthelmintic or anti-nematode drugs, the benzimidazoles, is currently used in mass drug administrations, which is a dangerous situation. New anti-nematode drugs are urgently needed. Bacillus thuringiensis crystal protein Cry5B is a powerful, promising new candidate. Drug combinations, when properly made, are ideal for treating infectious diseases. Although there are some clinical trials using drug combinations against STNs, little quantitative and systemic work has been performed to define the characteristics of these combinations in vivo.
METHODOLOGY/PRINCIPAL FINDINGS: Working with the hookworm Ancylostoma ceylanicum-hamster infection system, we establish a laboratory paradigm for studying anti-nematode combinations in vivo using Cry5B and the nicotinic acetylcholine receptor (nAChR) agonists tribendimidine and pyrantel pamoate. We demonstrate that Cry5B strongly synergizes in vivo with both tribendimidine and pyrantel at specific dose ratios against hookworm infections. For example, whereas 1 mg/kg Cry5B and 1 mg/kg tribendimidine individually resulted in only a 0%-6% reduction in hookworm burdens, the combination of the two resulted in a 41% reduction (P = 0.020). Furthermore, when mixed at synergistic ratios, these combinations eradicate hookworm infections at doses where the individual doses do not. Using cyathostomin nematode parasites of horses, we find based on inhibitory concentration 50% values that a strongylid parasite population doubly resistant to nAChR agonists and benzimidazoles is more susceptible or hypersusceptible to Cry5B than a cyathostomin population not resistant to nAChR agonists, consistent with previous Caenhorhabditis elegans results.
CONCLUSIONS/SIGNIFICANCE: Our study provides a powerful means by which anthelmintic combination therapies can be examined in vivo in the laboratory. In addition, we demonstrate that Cry5B and nAChR agonists have excellent combinatorial properties-Cry5B combined with nAChR agonists gives rise to potent cures that are predicted to be recalcitrant to the development of parasite resistance. These drug combinations highlight bright spots in new anthelmintic development for human and veterinary animal intestinal nematode infections

An automatic process that gives the complete solution for attendance and time management is knows as smart attendance management system. On the basis of several events like on duty, overtime, holiday working, shift, permission and late the attendance management system keep the record of attendance of all the employees. Because of non-intrusiveness and strong anti-interference the Radio-Frequency Identification (RFID) provide the solutions. In this paper we study the smart attendance system based on frequency distribution algorithm.Un proceso automático que brinda la solución completa para la asistencia y la gestión del tiempo se conoce como sistema inteligente de gestión de asistencia. Sobre la base de varios eventos como en servicio, horas extras, trabajo de vacaciones, turnos, permisos y retrasos, el sistema de gestión de asistencia mantiene el registro de asistencia de todos los empleados. This paper presents a quantitative analysis of portfolio governance management for product innovation in organization management systems. With only access to certain resources in a competitive environment to manage several projects, many organizations are using project portfolio management these days. To improve the results there is a need to implement the strategies, as the limited success of existing techniques. With the use of a limited number of resources using this approach, multiple projects can manage in a better way. It can be successful by using portfolio governance management. There is a need to understand the governance of the organization when it is applied to programs, portfolios, and projects before achieving the objective of organizational strategy. In the strategic initiative and success of portfolios, the governance management plan is considered as a major factor. En este documento se presenta un análisis cuantitativo de la gestión de la gobernanza de la cartera para la innovación de productos en los sistemas de gestión de las organizaciones. Al tener acceso únicamente a ciertos recursos en un entorno competitivo para gestionar varios proyectos, muchas organizaciones están utilizando la gestión de la cartera de proyectos en la actualidad. Para mejorar los resultados es necesario aplicar las estrategias, como el éxito limitado de las técnicas existentes. Con la utilización de un número limitado de recursos mediante este enfoque, se pueden gestionar mejor varios proyectos. Puede tener éxito utilizando la gestión de la cartera de proyectos. Es necesario comprender la gobernanza de la organización cuando se aplica a los programas, carteras y proyectos antes de lograr el objetivo de la estrategia de la organización. En la iniciativa estratégica y el éxito de las carteras, el plan de gestión de la gobernanza se considera un factor importante.
