Objective: The study depicts improvement of ensuing validation of a stability indicating technique for the simultaneous estimation of Atenolol and Nifedipine using Ultra-fast liquid chromatographic method (UFLC).Methods: The analysis is performed on Phenomenex Kinetex C18, (150 Ăâ 4.6 mm, 5ĂÂŒm) column using methanol and 0.1%ortho-phosphoric acids (75:25 v/v) as mobile phase with a flow rate of 1.3 ml/min. The eluents were checked with PDA detector at 237 nm.Results: In this optimized conditions Atenolol and Nifedipine elutes at a retention time of 2.79 and 4.50 min respectively individually the considered optimized condition is having linearity in the range from 10 to 50Ă”g/ml of Atenolol and 4-20Ă”g/ml of Nifedipine. The method was validated by following the ICH guidelines and their combination drug yield was exposed to acid and base stress, thermal stress, photolytic stress, hydrolytic stress, and oxidative stress conditions. All samples were studied by the given optimized method. In this Calibration curves were linear over studies ranges with correlation coefficient found between the ranges of 0.99 to 1.00.Conclusion: The proposed method was found to be accurate, precise, and specific and suitable for determination of both the drugs
An Exploratory Study to Identify the Gender-Based Purchase Behavior of Consumers of Natural Cosmetics
Consumers have become more open to the use of natural cosmetics. The production of natural cosmetics has grown in recent years because of demand from consumers who are concerned about skin health, product quality, and beauty. The presence of harmful chemicals in cosmetics has made consumers realize the importance of being ânaturalâ. This paper focused on identifying the factors that influence Indian consumersâ purchase intentions and purchase behavior towards natural cosmetics. The theory of planned behavior (TPB) was used to study the purchase intentions and purchase behavior of male and female consumers of natural cosmetics. In India, there has, in recent years, been a growing demand among males for cosmetics and specifically natural cosmetics. We studied the differences between male and female consumersâ purchase intentions and purchase behaviors by using the structural equation modeling of SmartPLS 3.0. A study of 335 women and men in India revealed that Attitude towards Environment and Natural Cosmetics had a positive influence on Purchase Intention and, subsequently, Purchase Behavior. There was also a positive influence of Perceived Behavioral Control on Purchase Intention. Product Knowledge had an indirect impact on Purchase Intention through Attitude towards Environment and Natural Cosmetics, as well as an indirect impact on Purchase Behavior through Purchase Intention. Subjective Norms was the only factor that did not have a significant positive impact on Purchase Intention and Purchase Behavior. However, the influences of the variables on Purchase Intention and Purchase Behavior did not differ between male and female consumers, thereby offering evidence of the similarity between men and women in their natural cosmetics purchase behavior

Characteristics and Expression Pattern of MYC Genes in Triticum aestivum, Oryza sativa, and Brachypodium distachyon
Myelocytomatosis oncogenes (MYC) transcription factors (TFs) belong to basic helix-loop-helix (bHLH) TF family and have a special bHLH_MYC_N domain in the N-terminal region. Presently, there is no detailed and systematic analysis of MYC TFs in wheat, rice, and Brachypodium distachyon. In this study, 26 TaMYC, 7 OsMYC, and 7 BdMYC TFs were identified and their features were characterized. Firstly, they contain a JAZ interaction domain (JID) and a putative transcriptional activation domain (TAD) in the bHLH_MYC_N region and a BhlH region in the C-terminal region. In some cases, the bHLH region is followed by a leucine zipper region; secondly, they display tissue-specific expression patterns: wheat MYC genes are mainly expressed in leaves, rice MYC genes are highly expressed in stems, and B. distachyon MYC genes are mainly expressed in inflorescences. In addition, three types of cis-elements, including plant development/growth-related, hormone-related, and abiotic stresses-related were identified in different MYC gene promoters. In combination with the previous studies, these results indicate that MYC TFs mainly function in growth and development, as well as in response to stresses. This study laid a foundation for the further functional elucidation of MYC genes
Anomaly Detection Method of BDS Signal-in-Space Based on Autoregressive Distributed Lag Model
The signal-in-space (SIS) anomaly of BeiDou navigation satellite system (BDS) is an important factor affecting its high accuracy SIS quality assessment. Detecting and eliminating SIS anomaly is not only an important method to build SIS fault model of BDS, but also helps to guarantee the integrity of BDS navigation and positioning. Based on the problem that the traditional empirical threshold method cannot accurately identify the start and end times of anomalies in anomaly detection, which leads to anomaly detection leakage, a combined detection method based on autoregressive distributed lag model and empirical threshold is proposed in this paper. Before the calculation, the spurious anomalies of SIS are removed by data cleaning. The high-precision SIS ranging error (SISRE) is recovered by Space State Representation (SSR) correction number, and then projected to the user’s line of sight direction, and the anomaly detection threshold is determined by using the combined threshold of empirical threshold and autoregressive distributed lag (ARDL) model. The feasibility and effectiveness of the method were analyzed by using the data collected in 2021. The test results show that compared with the traditional threshold method, the proposed method can more accurately detect the start and end points of SIS anomalies caused by clock anomalies, thereby improving the detection accuracy. In addition, the anomaly detection method proposed in this paper is used to count the anomalies throughout the year, and the results show that the highest frequency of anomalies is found in geostationary orbit (GEO) and inclined geosynchronous orbit (IGSO), and these anomalies are mainly caused by satellite clocks

Pollen Molecular Identification from a Long-Distance Migratory Insect, Spodoptera exigua, as Evidenced for Its Regional Pollination in Eastern Asia
Understanding plant-insect interactions requires the uncovering of the host plant use of insect herbivores, but such information is scarce for most taxa, including nocturnal moth species, despite their vital role as herbivores and pollinators. In this study, we determined the plant species visited by an important moth species, Spodoptera exigua, by analyzing attached pollen on migratory individuals in Northeast China. Pollen grains were dislodged from 2334 S. exigua long-distance migrants captured between 2019 and 2021 on a small island in the center of the Bohai Strait, which serves as a seasonal migration pathway for this pest species, and 16.1% of the tested moths exhibited pollen contamination, primarily on the proboscis. Subsequently, 33 taxa from at least 23 plant families and 29 genera were identified using a combination of DNA barcoding and pollen morphology, primarily from the Angiosperm, Dicotyledoneae. Moreover, the sex, inter-annual, and seasonal differences in pollen adherence ratio and pollen taxa were revealed. Notably, compared to previously reported pollen types found on several other nocturnal moths, we found that almost all of the above 33 pollen taxa can be found in multiple nocturnal moth species, providing another important example of conspecific attraction. Additionally, we also discussed the indicative significance of the pollen present on the bodies of migratory individuals for determining their migratory route. Overall, by delineating the adult feeding and pollination behavior of S. exigua, we advanced our understanding of the interactions of the moths with their host plants, and its migration pattern, as well as facilitated the design of (area-wide) management strategies to preserve and optimize ecosystem services that they provide
