    The digital control is a control system with digital signal processing inside. We can find digital control parameters in many application such as digital control of speed, temperature, position, etc. In this paper, we propose a digital control of plate angle to provide an experimental instrument of control system learning. This project uses a microcontroller, absolute rotary encoder as an angel detector and DC fan to produce wind flowing for moving a plastic plate. The user interface of this project is LabVIEW. The microcontroller will process the error value from the substraction of the set point value and the value of the feedback which is read by an angle sensor. PID method is deployed to minimize the error value and speed up the response system. Implementing this instrument enables it to control the angel of plastic plate and will reach the good performance of the system response such as rise time, steady state error, and overshoot system

    SISTEM ABSENSI PENGENALAN WAJAH OTOMATIS BERBASIS VIDEO MENGGUNAKAN METODE GABOR WAVELET

    Face recognition system presents a challenging problem in the last three decades, and has received a great attention because of its many application includes an attendance system for person identification. The system will take an image sequence captured by a video camera, which mostly already exist. In this paper, we present a video-based face recognition attendance system that consists of three modules: one for detecting the faces, a second one for tracking them, and the third one for recognizing them. In this system, we will use feature extraction with gabor wavelet using magnitude of 2D Gabor’s representations of the face as a new representation. The performance of the proposed algorithm is tested on ten low resolution video using database that made up of 10 video inside them. The test results indicate that the face recognition system is achieve 81.33506% of accuracy while the picture taken indoor. Although the input system has a low resolution, but the facial recognition had good results to recognized nine persons at a time

    Steganography is a technique to hide a secret message into another message, so the existence of the message is not detected by human senses. The secret message could be a picture, audio, video or text and the cover could be a picture, audio, video or text too. To improve the quality and performance of steganography, has been done research that merge the encryption method and error correction method. In this research, it has been simulated steganography system using a secret information in the form of text and digital image as a cover. The encryption method is an encryption based on rubik’s cube principle, the error correction method is BCH Code and the steganography is using Least Significant Bit (LSB) method. The accuration (without noise) is 100% and the PSNR is above 56 dB. The system's reliability also tested by adding Gaussian noise and Salt and Pepper noise. The result is a system that uses a BCH code is more resistant to noise than the system that do not use BCH code

    Facial recognition is currently the most developed biometric system that can identify a specific individual in a digital image by analyzing and comparing pattern. Conventional surveillance video recording does not have capability to recognize people automatically. The design of human face recognition as an added value of surveillance video recordings installed in an open space is an appropriate solution.In the previous experimental using Fisherface in image processing has resulted in 83% accuracy rate. Success of Fisherface methods is reached by combining FLD (Fisher Linear Discriminant) and PCA (Principal Component Analysis). In this paper, Fisherface is implemented for face recognition in outdoor video processing with the duration is more than 7 seconds and have 15 frames per second each video. The experiment used captured video sample frames as train database and video as test database. The classifier which is used in this system are Artificial Neural Network (ANN) using Backpropagation algorithm and also Euclidean Distances a comparison. This experimental result in video processing shows that face recognition method proposed in this paper combined with ANN classifier makes impressive performance improvement proved with high accuracy compared with conventional Eigenface methods

    ANALISIS DUA SENSOR SUHU BERBASIS EMBEDED WEB SERVER

    On microcontroller already contained Analog to Digital Converter (ADC) channel which can change from analog to digital which measure temperature by using LM35 temperature sensor and temperature sensor SHT11 to compare its performance using embeded webserver base on microcontroller ATmega 8535 and ATmega128. The use of two different types of microcontrollers also be one of the research variables to determine the temperature sensor performance with different types via TCP / IP. By utilizing a NM7010A network module TCP / IP Starter Kit so the monitoring applications can be controlled via the intranet. From the testing result for LM35 is shown that average of error convertion is 0,1 % base on ATmega8535. Result for SHT11 is shown that average of error convertion is 2,7 % base on ATmega128. To control the system via TCP / IP network is required the delay time between 0,5 until 1,2 second

    Teeth are an important organ that has the function of chewing, talking, and aesthetics. Each person won’t be able to move normally if the dental injured. Pulpitis dental disease, namely inflammation in dental pulp that cause pain are divided into two types, reversible pulpitis and irreversible pulpitis. Available facilities in Indonesia to receive treatment for dental problems is still limited, especially in rural areas. Pulpitis can be detected with the help of periapical radiographs, the results of X-ray of the tooth which has the cheap cost, so it can be affordable for the lower middle class society. However, these results have low contrast levels that cause disease detection becomes difficult. Adaptive Region Growing Approach is used in this study to improve the image quality, wherein the method is more focused on improving the quality of the region that are created because of the seed in the image. The study produced periapical radiograph images that have better quality, that are expected to help dentists in detecting pulpitis, so it may indirectly increase the level of social welfare. These results were obtained through comparison of CII (Contrast Improvement Index) and SNR (Signal to Noise Ratio) between this method and the existing method

    ANALISA KAPASITAS PRODUKSI DI STASIUN PERAKITAN DENGAN METODE PENJADWALAN DETERMINISTIK

    Abstract A manufacturing company which its production based on customer's customization order commonly employs Make-To-Order system. The classical problem of this system is that uncertainty of the order receipt schedule and the various degree of customization. Thus, it leads to an improper production schedule or under-optimal. This study aims to analyze the maximum production capacity of the company so that it can provide a recommendation for scheduling improvement. In this paper, the study case is carried out to a company which produces the various tools for military needs, such as weapons, ammunition, and combat vehicle. By means of the deterministic scheduling method, the optimal sequence of a military vehicle can be determined. Then, to represent the job priority order as well as to estimate the job completion duration, the network diagram is used. The result is then used as a reference to construct the production schedule simulation sequentially. It is intended to observe the interval time among production schedule. The experimental results of maximum production capacity calculation show that the company is able to produce at maximum 150 unit vehicles per year.Keywords: scheduling; production; deterministic method; Abstrak Perusahaan manufaktur yang memproduksi berdasarkan kustomisasi permintaan pelanggan biasa menerapkan sistem Make-To-Order. Masalah klasik yang sering dihadapai dari sistem tersebut adalah ketidaktepatan jadwal penerimaan pesanan dan tingkat kustomisasi yang berbeda-beda. Hal tersebut menyebabkan penjadwalan produksi yang tidak tepat atau tidak optimal. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melakukan analisa kapasitas produksi perusahaan, sehingga dengan mengetahui kapasitas maksimalnya dapat memberikan rekomendasi perbaikan penjadwalan. Dalam penelitian ini, studi kasus dilakukan pada perusahan yang memproduksi berbagai macam peralatan untuk kebutuhan militer seperti persenjataan, amunisi, dan kendaraan tempur. Dengan menggunakan metode penjadwalan deterministik, urutan perakitan optimal pada kendaraan militer dapat ditentukan. Kemudian untuk menggambarkan urutan prioritas pekerjaan sekaligus untuk memperhitungkan durasi penyelesaian pekerjaan digunakan bantuan network diagram. Hasilnya digunakan sebagai dasar untuk menyusun simulasi penjadwalan produksi secara berurutan. Tujuannya adalah untuk mengetahui selisih waktu produksi antar jadwal. Hasil perhitungan jumlah kapasitas produksi maksimal perusahaan didapatkan bahwa perusahaan ini dapat memproduksi sebanyak 150 unit kendaraan per tahun.
