    O processo de inovação consiste na criação de novas tecnologias que possa proporcionar melhorias na sociedade. Neste contexto, o Direito de Propriedade Intelectual tem um papel de grande relevância à medida que dispõe de instrumentos fomentadores de inovação. O objetivo desde estudo é identificar e compreender as relações entre os institutos do Direito de Propriedade Intelectual e o processo de inovação, bem como suas associações com o desenvolvimento tecnológico. O método usado foi o ensaio teórico por meio de pesquisa bibliográfica feita a partir de buscas nas bases disponíveis na plataforma Portal de Periódicos da CAPES, “scopus” e “scielo”, utilizados os indexadores innovation, intelectual property, technological development, inovação, propriedade intelectual e desenvolvimento tecnológico. Na literatura revisada, identificou-se vasta produção acadêmica sobre o tema objeto de estudo e, seguindo os critérios de citação e relevância, nas bases “scopus” e “scielo”, foram selecionados treze artigos que compunham o Portfólio Bibliográfico para estudo e análise, segundo a metodologia Proknow-C. Encontrou-se como resultado uma relação direta entre os institutos do Direito de Propriedade Intelectual, o processo de inovação e o desenvolvimento tecnológico. Este estudo pretende contribuir para a comunidade acadêmica e para a sociedade ampliando a literatura útil para o entendimento detalhado do processo de inovação relacionado ao Direito de Propriedade Intelectual e desenvolvimento tecnológico. 

    Strategies and Competitive Advantages through the use of the Organization's Internal Resources: A Case Study using the VRIO Tool

    In an already unfavorable scenario for Brazilian companies, a virus emerges that is capable of destabilizing the economy worldwide. Covid-19 brought with it fear and insecurity for companies and citizens alike. Even facing so many obstacles, there are companies that stand out and reinvent themselves to remain firm in the market. This is the case of the "Alfa" company, which has been in the fitness clothing business for thirty years. This was the reason that generated interest for the present study, which aimed to identify the organization's strategies and competitive advantages using the VRIO as a tool for decision making. The methods used were applied, qualitative, exploratory and descriptive research, in a single case study, with semi-structured interviews with four employees of the company. As a result, it was possible to identify in the company four resources that generate sustainable competitive advantage: the brand, quality, the relationship with resellers, and after-sales assistance. It was also found that the company is concerned about its customers, since they are fundamental and boost the brand's success

    Telectronic Government and Process Innovation: The perception of Municipal Public Managers

    This study aimed to identify and interpret the municipal public managers in the use of the electronic portal of the State of Rio Grande do Sul. Thus, the applied and quantitative research was carried out with 62 municipal managers from the municipalities of Rio Grande do Sul. As a result, it was observed that the electronic portal is seen as process innovation, which minimizes public administration and user spending, and enables process improvements for the citizen. It was also observed that the variables were grouped into three factors: technology, processes and interaction, with no variance between the groups by mesoregions.
