    Objective: The aim of this research was to synthesize and evaluate physical-chemical properties of 5-pheneyhyl-4-R-3-thio-1,2,4-triazole and to establish identity and structure of the synthesized compounds, namely alkil-2-((5-phenethyl-4-R-1,2,4-triazole-3-yl)thio)acet(propan,benz)imidates. Methods: As starting materials for synthesis of alkil-2-((5-phenethyl-4-R-1,2,4-triazole-3-yl)thio)acet(propan,benz)imidates, the corresponding 2-((5-phenethyl-4-R-1,2,4-triazole-3-yl)thio)aceto(propane,benzo)nitrile have been used. Synthesis has been set in the absolute alcohol medium (propanol or butanol alcohol) with chloroform, using the saturation with dry hydrogen chloride. Results: In this study, we have developed nine new compounds have been received as a result of synthetic transformations, the structure of synthesized compounds has been confirmed by modern complex of physical-chemical methods of analysis (1H NMR-spectroscopy, elemental analysis), and their individuality has been conducted on gas-liquid chromatograph Agilent 1260 Infinity HPLC equipped with a mass spectrometer Agilent 6120. Conclusion: As a result of the work, it was synthesized the new compounds of the series of alkil-2-((5-phenethyl-4-R-1,2,4-triazole-3-yl)thio) acet(propan,benz)imidates and was characterized by elemental analysis and proton nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopic analysis

    In this work the effect of culturing conditions of filamentous fungi Penicillium raistrickii, Penicillium anatolicum, Fusarium sp. on biomass yield, the content of total lipids and fatty acids was studied. It has been established that in time the process of lipids accumulation correlated with biomass growth of cultures, reaching maximum values in stationary growth phase. Biomass yield and accumulation of general lipids was increased by adding zinc to the culture medium. The more intensive accumulation of biomass and general lipids was observed at temperature 18°C. Lowering the temperature of culturing has changed the ratio of saturated: Unsaturated fatty acids in the direction of increasing the latter

It were defined the features of the growth processes of cells green protococcal microalgae Oocystis rhomboideus, Scenedesmus obliquus, Dictyochlorella globosa at cultivation in different nutritional mediums. For the rapid accumulation of biomass, combined with high productivity of total lipids fraction yield recommended to use the Fitzgerald medium (Scenodesmus obliquus, Oocystis rhomboideus) and/or Bold medium (Dictyochlorella globosa). Productivity of lipids decreased in sequence Dictyochlorella globosa > Scenodesmus obliquus > Oocystis rhomboideus. The bulk of fatty acids fraction of the total lipids is unsaturated fatty acids, which accounts for 70 to 83% of the total number of fatty acids. The share of monoenic acids varies from 16 to 36 %, the share of unsaturated fatty acids - from 44 to 65% of total fatty acids fraction. Among the unsaturated acids dominate α-linolenic acid (C18:3n-3), hexadecatetraenic acid (C16:4) and linoleic acid (C18:2)

    Comparative evaluation of enzyme and biocidal activity of <i>Candida auris</i> and <i>Candida albicans</i>

    Introduction. Secreted metabolites with enzymatic or toxic properties are important for effecting of Candida spp pathogenicity. The most clinically significant species is C. albicans. However, invasive infections associated with C. auris have a great significance. The aim of the investigation is comparison the some of enzymatic properties and biocidal activity of C. auris with those of C. albicans. Materials and methods. C. albicans and C. auris strains were used in the study. Growth of micromycetes was detected on nutrient agar, Sabouraud agar or blood agar (with hemolysis presence). The Candida spp. proteinase activity was determined on Difco agar with 2% casein and by cleavage of IgG molecules. Candida lipase activity was assessed on the agar with Tween-20. The viability of buccal epithelial cells after exposure (1 4 h) with candida metabolites was estimated by trypan blue assay. Statistical analysis was performed using RStudio software. Results. The best growth of C. albicans was observed on Sabouraud agar, and C. auris on blood agar. Only C. auris had hemolytic and lipase activity. Protease activity of some C. auris strains was noted. They were able to cleave casein and damage IgG molecules. The metabolites of some Candida strains decreased the viability of epithelial cells while the reduction was more pronounced in the experiments with C. auris (р 0.05). Conclusion. The most suitable medium for C. auris culturing was blood agar. Proteolytic, antiglobulin, hemolytic and lipase activities were observed only for C. auris. C. auris demonstrated more invasive capacity compared to C. albicans. The observed micromycete biocidal activity against buccal epithelial cells was strain-dependent
