    In a single-dose, two-treatment, two-period, two-sequence crossover study with a 1-week washout period was carry out the bioequivalence study of two tablet coated formulation of fosinopril that given to 18 volunteers in equal doses (20 mg). Drug blood plasma concentrations were determined by validated LC-MS method for 48 hours. There were calculated the followed parameters: AUC 0-t ,Cmax, tmax , Cmax /AUC. 90% confidence interval for log-transformed AUC 0-tvalues was 0,9393 - 1,1473 and one for log-transformed Cmax was 0,8861 - 1,066, respectively. It was made the conclusion about bioequivalence of compared fosinopril formulations.В рамках перекрёстного, однократного, открытого, рандомизированного исследования с однонедельным периодом отмывки, с двумя последовательностями была изучена биоэквивалентность двух таблетированных форм фозиноприла на 18 добровольцах (дозировка 20 мг). Образцы плазмы крови анализировали валидированным методом ВЭЖХ-МС/МС в течение 48 часов. Для анализируемых препаратов рассчитаны следующие фармакокинетические параметры: AUC0-t, Cmax, tmax, Cmax/AUC. 90% доверительный интервал для логарифмически преобразованных значений AUC0-t составил 0,9393 - 1,1473 и для Cmax - 0,8861 - 1,066. По результатам исследования был сделан вывод о биоэквивалентности сравниваемых препаратов фозиноприла

    New polyanionic modifications of polyamide nucleic acid mimics were obtained. Thymine decamers were synthesized from respective chiral α- and γ-monomers, and their enantiomeric purity was assessed. Here, we present the decamer synthesis, purification and characterization by MALDI-TOF mass spectrometry and an investigation of the hybridization properties of the decamers. We show that the modified γ-S-carboxyethyl-T10 PNA forms a stable triplex with polyadenine DNA

    Biological parameters such as age, growth and age (or size) at maturity are vital for accurate stock assessments and management plans to ensure that fisheries develop sustainably. Despite this, very few validated age studies have been conducted for large tropical pelagic species within the Australian region. Age and growth parameters were estimated for bigeye tuna, Thunnus obesus (Lowe, 1839), sampled from longline fisheries in the Australian region using validated techniques based on counts of annual increments. Poor increment clarity reduced the number of otoliths included in the final analysis to only 50% of the 3200 selected for reading (39–178-cm fork length). Microincrement analysis confirmed the position of the first two annual increments in these otoliths.A maximum age of 16 years was obtained, but over 80% of fish in the Australian catch were <5 years old. Growth is most rapid in the first few years of life and asymptotic length is reached at about age 9 to 10 years. The von Bertalanffy growth parameters were estimated at L∞ =169.09, k=0.238, and to=−1.706 for the south-west Pacific Ocean and L∞ =178.41, k=0.176, and to=−2.500 for the eastern Indian Ocean. These parameters were significantly different, suggesting that there is little mixing between populations in the Pacific and Indian Oceans. Length at 50% maturity for females sampled in northern Queensland was estimated to be 102.4-cm fork length
