    Indonesia memiliki 17.508 pulau dengan garis pantai sepanjang 81.000 km dan 70 % luas wilayah indonesia adalah laut, hal tersebut menjadikan indonesia kaya akan hasil laut yang dapat di manfaatkan untuk kesejahteraan masyarakat. Salah satu upaya kementrian kelautan dan perikanan untuk memanfaatkan potensi tersebut dengan memberikan bantuan kapal dan alat bantu penangkapan ikan kepada para nelayan. Permasalahan yang ada ialah alat bantu penangkapan ikan (Fishing deck machinery) merupakan produk impor, hal tersebut mengakibatkan perlunya biaya yang tinggi dalam pengadaannya. Untuk dapat mengatasi hal tersebut maka dilakukan penelitian tentang perancangan dan manufaktur alat penangkapan ikan produksi dalam negri. Dalam proses manufaktur alat bantu penangkapan ikan diperlukan estimasi waktu operasi dalam proses manufakturnya agar dapat di tentukan biaya produksi dari alat bantu penangkapan ikan tersebut. Metode DFMA (Desain for manufacturing and assembly) merupakan metode yang di gunakan dalam pembuatan alat bantu penangkapan ikan, berdasarkan penerapan metode DFMA estimasi waktu pengerjaan ± 168 menit dengan biaya produksi sebesar Rp. 2.345.700

    The Condition of Coral Reefs in the Waters Around the Banyan Tree Bintan Bintan Regency Riau Islands Province

    The aim of this research is to know the condition of coral reefs including the live coral cover, the diversity index, the uniformity index, and the dominance index of the waters of Banyan Tree Bintan. This research had been conducted in the waters around Banyan Tree Bintan from September until November 2016. There are three stations with two depth; Angsana House Reef, Rawa Island and Manjin Island. The data of coral reefs were collected by using Underwater Photograph Transect (UPT) method. The result which was analyzed by using CPCe application revealed that the condition of the coral reefs was ranged around 21,88 % to 32,87% which can be classified as poor to moderate category sequentialy. The low number of coral covers was caused by rising sea temperature and coral bleaching. The highest coral cover was located in the Angsana House Reef at a depth of 5 meters in otherwise the lowest one was located in the Rawa island at 2 meters depth. The quality of water such as temperature, salinity, pH, current velocity and the visibility of the research location was good for coral reefs recovery and growth. The diversity index moderate, the uniformity index was low, and the dominance index was ranged from low to moderate level

Sehingga sebuah pemesanan room SPA dianggap penting bagi semua orang, orang-orang banyak memilih-milih room SPA yang sesuai sehingga dapat menyenangkan hati pelanggan. Banyak tempat pemesanan ruangan SPA yang dapat dijadikan target untuk pemesanan SPA, akan tetapi room SPA yang akan dipesan tidak sesuai dengan keinginan dan juga tidak terdapat banyak pilihan dan solusi pada receptionist. Banyak juga terdapat tempa - tempat yang mengkhususkan pemesanan room SPA yang dapat memberikan informasi bagi para pelanggannya dalam pemilihan room SPA. Namun pada pemesanan room SPA sering terjadi penurunan omset dikarenakan beberapa masalah. Pelanggan sering mengalami kekecewaan pada proses pemesanan room SPA dikarekan tipe dan dan jenis ruangan tidak sesuai dengan pesanan oleh pelanggan serta dalam proses pembayaran room SPA yang dipesan dilakukan secara manual dengan bayar langsung ditempat. Oleh karena itu dibutuhkan sebuah sistem yang dapat membantu pelanggan untuk dapat menerima semua informasi mengenai pemesanan room SPA sekaligus membantu receptionist dalam penerimaan pemesanan pelanggan

    Abstract  This study discusses the correlation between Islamic education derived from the Qur'an, Sunnah and Ijma regarding efforts to maintain public health.     THE IMPROVEMENT OF SEMEN QUALITY AND TESTOSTERONE LEVEL OF BALI CATTLE AFTER PROSTAGLANDIN F2α ADMINISTRATION

    This study aimed to determine the effect of prostaglandin F2α (PGF2α) administration on improving semen quality and testosterone levels on Bali cattle. This study used 3 Bali cattle aged 2, 3.5, and 5 years old. The sample used in this study was Bali cattle semen. In this study, the Latin Square Design was used with three different treatments were administered over three time periods. The treatments performed were P1 (5 mL physiological NaCl), P2 (25 mg prostaglandin), and P3 (37.5 mg prostaglandin) while treatment period was three weeks of treatment administration, which were 1st. 2nd, and 3rd week. Blood collected through coccygea vein 30 minutes after treatment to measure testosterone levels using enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) technique. Statistical analysis showed that PGF2α administration at a dose of 25 mg and PGF2α at a dose of 37.5 mg had no effect (P0.05) on volume, color, pH, consistency, concentration, and motility of Bali cattle spermatozoa. The volume of semen obtained from P1; P2; and P3 were 6.5±0.9; 6.3±0.6; and 6.2±1.2 mL, respectively. The color of the semen in P1, P2, and P3 were beige and milky white. The pH in groups P1; P2; and P3 were 6.7±0.6; 7.1±0.2; and 6.5±0.2, respectively. Spermatozoa concentration in P1; P2; and P3 were 1,328±96.43 x 106 cells/mL; 1,354±102.19 x 106 cells/mL; and 1,353.3±88.55 x 106 cells/mL, respectively. Spermatozoa motility in P1; P2; and P3 were 73.3±2.8%; 71.6±2.8%; and 73.3±2.8%, respectively. Testosterone levels in P1 and P3 were 5.05±0.22 and 6.74±1.38 ng/mL, respectively (P0.05). Based on the results of this study, it was concluded that the administration of PGF2α does not affect semen quality but can increase the level of testosterone on Bali cattle

    MicroRNA-21 as a biomarker for ovarian cancer detection

    Ovarian cancer is a lethal disease. One of the problems faced by patients with ovarian cancer is the lack of symptoms in its early stages, which results in it only being detected when it is at an advanced stage. Therefore, there is an urgent need for biomarkers that can predict ovarian cancer precisely. The purpose of this study was to determine the expression of microRNA-21 as a predictive biomarker candidate in both early- and advanced-stage ovarian cancer. This was a cross-sectional study using the blood plasma of 21 healthy control subjects and 37 blood plasma samples from patients with ovarian cancer. Blood plasmas were collected, from which the RNA was isolated. Based on the RNA, the cDNA was synthesized and run through qPCR, the results of which were analyzed using the Livak method. The results showed an upregulation of microRNA-21 in the advanced stage by 2.14 fold compared with the early stage, and 6.13 fold compared with the healthy controls (p < 0.05). The upregulation of microRNA-21 in early-stage ovarian cancer was 2.86 fold compared with the healthy control subjects (p < 0.05). In addition, there was an increase in the expression of microRNA-21 in ovarian cancer by 4.14 fold compared with the healthy controls (p < 0.05). Based on these results, it can be concluded that the expression of microRNA 21 upregulated with the severity of the disease

    Seismic performance of brick masonry infilled frame structures with bed joint reinforcements

    This paper presents the evaluation of the seismic performance of brick infilled RC frame structures with bed joint reinforcements based on reversed cyclic lateral load tests. Three specimens of the structural model of 1/4 scale-down single-story single-bay brick infilled RC frame was prepared, which were brick infilled RC frames with and without bed joint reinforcements. Two specimens of brick infills with bed joint reinforcements were different in the spacing of bed joint rebars. The specimens were tested by applying a reversed cyclic lateral loading in-plane direction. During the tests, the crack propagation was observed at the peak and residual drifts of each loading cycle to recognize the failure mechanisms of the specimens. As the results, although the use of the bed joint reinforcements ineffective to increase the lateral strength of the overall infilled frame structure. The rebars in mortar bed joints role to sustain the lateral strength in plastic deformation, and provide the whole structure with high ductility. It seemed that the rebars in mortar bed joints confined the brick infills. Therefore, the infilled RC frames can survive in large deformation without failure of the infills in out of the plane direction
