中学校1年生への心の健康に関する一考察
In order to facilitate counseling activities, a mental health questionnaire was administered to junior high school students. The primary object of the research was first graders – who had had big changes in the transition from elementary to junior high school. Results showed the importance of friendships in school life. In particular the girls had support from their friends in times of trouble, however friends were also the main source of worry – indicating that friends could also be a stressor. The first graders were also supported by their families. It was considered that the teachers and the school counselor would be in the best position to cooperate with parents. A large number of the first graders had either physical or mental issues because of lack of sleep. This suggested that the school counselor should cooperate with the school nurse and take action to build up a support system for both physical and mental health
大学生が認識するテレビゲームの功罪について
In recent years, the harmful effects of video games accompanied by virtual reality in addition to violent imagery has been pointed out. This study uses the KJ method to undertake a qualitative study of how children are affected by video games that include violent imagery, focusing on university and college students as subjects who have many opportunities to interact with video games. As a result, it was found that opportunities exist for children to engage with video games including violent imagery at an early age, and the possibility was suggested that this may have a negative effect over the long term. On the other hand, games including violent imagery also represent a means of interacting with others, and it is important to provide instruction on how to interact with video games including violent imagery at an early stage

GPSを用いたASEの効果検証-大学生リーダーズトレーニングにおいて-
Action Socialization Experience (ASE), which is held in the leadership training for the university, is an effective program for the facilitation of student’s social skills. However, there is no tool or index to objectively evaluate the effect of ASE. Therefore, this study attempts to construct a system which measures the distance between two people and the time for which they people interact to create an index of social skills using the Global Positioning System (GPS).The error of this system depended on the measurement environment - the signal of GPS is rarely not detectable. However, the method is highly precise, and is measurable for a long time. We think that this new system would be a suitable method for evaluating human relations in open spaces
