    Conformity with Compulsive Buying in Adolescents

    Compulsive buying is a shopping behavior that is repeated and has a strong urge to shop which is done as a diversion from negative feelings, such as stress and anxiety. Compulsive buying can be influenced by the social environment, where a person will behave following the expectations of others, the presence of pressure, or what is often called conformity. This study aims to determine the relationship between conformity and compulsive buying in adolescents. The approach used is a quantitative approach with the type of correlational research. The measuring instrument in this study uses conformity scale adaptation and compulsive buying scale adaptation. Respondents in this study were teenagers aged 18-24 years totaling 399 teenagers living in the city of Kupang. The results of hypothesis testing using the Spearman correlation technique obtained a correlation coefficient of 0.208 with a significance level of 0.000 (p <0.05). This means that H0 is accepted, that is, there is a positive and significant relationship between conformity and compulsive buying in adolescents in Kupang City

    Women with professions as a teacher and married have many roles, both in the family and in the work environment. The many roles that are carried out often lead to work-family conflict. A work-family Conflict is a form of conflict between roles where the pressure of roles in work and roles in the family are conflicting in several ways. The conflict that is experienced is not resolved and will cause work stress and affect the balance of work and family. Therefore, stress management training is given three (3) aspects, they are knowledge, skills, and attitude to 12 participants. The results are, all participants experienced increased knowledge about stress management. In addition, all participants were also able to apply emotional coping stress and problem solving coping when faced with stressors

    Perilaku Celebrity Worship pada Remaja Perempuan

    Celebrity worship behavior is one of the typical behaviors in adolescence. Self-identity issue in the teenage period would look for an ideal figure as a new role model beside their parents. On the other side, teenager’s celebrity worship behavior often raises concerns from parents and other social environments. This study aims to explain the celebrity worship behavior of teenage women. This study is a qualitative study, with interviews as the main data collection tool. The subjects in this study were 3 teenage girls aged 14 to 19 years. The results of the study showed that there are negative and positive effects of celebrity worship behavior for teenagers' lives.     The Covid-19 pandemic has caused changes in activity patterns and life habits, which have an impact on increasing psychosocial pressure and psychological (mental) problems in adolescents, such as feelings of anxiety and loneliness, during the Covid-19 pandemic. Complaints about changes in behavior and emotions during the Covid-19 pandemic were also found in SMA Negeri 2 Kupang City students. Most students show feelings of boredom, irritability, lack of enthusiasm, and stress, as well as internet and online game dependency behavior. Students and teachers also lack knowledge about mental health and Covid-19 prevention behavior. This community service activity is carried out to increase the knowledge and abilities of students and teachers in recognizing and maintaining adolescent mental health while implementing appropriate preventive behavior during the Covid-19 pandemic. Service activities include counseling on mental health and the Covid-19 pandemic, social skills training (life skills), provision of IEC media in the form of youth mental health leaflets/posters during the Covid-19 pandemic, and provision of PHBS supporting facilities to implement the Covid-19 Pandemic behavior. The activity results showed that after counseling, there was an increase of 82.5% for students of SMAN 2 Kupang with a good level of knowledge. All students participating in community service activities can also practice skills in preventing and improving mental health and preventing the transmission of Covid-19. The school (students and teachers) should consistently educate youth mental health and health protocols to all students of SMAN 2 Kupang
