    In our case report, we are presenting a 72 years old male patient. The patient's symptoms were fever, dizziness, general weakness at the time of admission. The laboratory and CSF tests revealed central nervous system inflammation. West Nile virus was identified from the cerebrospinal fluid. After the symptoms of infection and during supporting treatment, severe, progressing hyponatremia evolved with unknown pathology.
