The educational systems of Islamic countries are now facing several challenges, today. Among all, we can note some challenges posed by post-modernism theories such as:  rejection of powerful ideological sources, refusal of any educational model, relativism, breaking norms, lack of any social responsibility, evasion from religion and etc. Each of these imposes challenges for the educational systems, especially those proposed by post-modernism theories that are in contrast with the Islamic rules. In this research study project, we use qualitative approach with a method of descriptive-analytical, posterior to a comprehensive review of the available resources we will evaluate the post- modernism perspectives in social education and training based on the great scholar Tabatabaei. Of the results of this article we can point out the post-modernism social education and training concepts such as: lack of any universal and constant principles, dialogue-based, pluralistic, anti-sovereignty, importance of diversity, attention to differences and the importance of criticism in post-modernism social education. In addition, some of the conclusions obtained from this article will focus on evaluating the views by Mr. Tabatabaei regarding the post-modernism social education and training in which nature and spiritual matters is of outmost importance – which is rejected by post-modernism. Despite rejection of any model is observed in post-modernism, Mr. Tabatabaei believes in religious models and powerful sources of Koran and Sharia (Islamic laws). On the other hand, values and ethics in post-modernism are relative, but in Tabatabaei’s view some values are relative and some are absolute. Further, post-modernism emphasizes on the individual identity, but in Mr. Tabatabaei’s views, the group has priority over the individual. Key Words: Post-modernism, Social Ethical Education, The great scholar Tabatabaei, Criticism

Discovery and composition of web services using artificial intelligence planning and web service modeling ontology

In today’s Web environment, Web services are the preferred standards-based way to realize Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) computing. A problem that has become one of the recent critical issues is automated discovery and composition of Semantic Web services. A number of approaches have been presented to solve the problem. However, most of these approaches only consider discovery or composition of Web services but not both. In this study, an effective approach called AIMO, based on Artificial Intelligence (AI) planning, Web Service Modeling Ontology (WSMO), and Semantic Web has been proposed to tackle the problem. The main purpose of this study is to investigate and develop a novel approach for automated Web service discovery and composition. In this case, a comparative evaluation of state-of-the-art approaches for Web service composition approaches has been done and the strengths and weaknesses of those approaches have been discussed. Moreover a translator for interaction between WSMO and AI-planning based on Description Logics has been proposed. In addition, some parts of AIMO architecture have been tested on a practical case study, and the results based on the experimental validation demonstrate that AIMO provides an effective and applicable solution. AIMO continues to support loose coupling paradigm of SOA by separating the discovery from the composition of Web services

Validation of Sustainability Instrument for Developing and Maintaining Effective Information Systems Programs

Program sustainability has received considerable research attention in many fields. Buck (2015) describes a general framework for program sustainability. Although initially designed to address the long-term viability of non-profits, public agencies, and foundations, the model is general enough to be applicable to a wide range of program types. A sustainable program is essentially one that has a recognized identity, and the resources and support needed to carry out its mission and serve its constituents across time. Buck asserts that programs with such characteristics can attract and retain supporters, achieve mission-related outcomes, and attract persistent funding and resources. An alternative framework for program sustainability (the Sustainability Framework) has been proposed by Schell et al. (2013). This framework was developed to describe factors related the sustainability of public health programs. It identifies a set of organizational and contextual domains with a program’s sustainability capacity - its ability to maintain programming and its benefits over time. The organizational and contextual domains identified by the Sustainability Framework include environmental support, funding stability, partnerships, organizational capacity, program evaluation, program adaptation, communications, and strategic planning. In combination, Buck’s sustainability model and Schell et al.’s sustainability framework help to delineate what program sustainability encompasses. Both provide a system-oriented perspective on programs that stress the importance of program goals, stakeholders, and resources

This paper describes advanced numerical analysis of a simply supported reinforced concrete slab exposed to close range explosion of a TNT charge. Finite element method (FEM) has been utilized in order to conduct the analysis. Non-linear material model for concrete slab is adopted. Reinforcing bars made of basalt fibre reinforced plastic (BFRP) are considered by elastic-plastic material model. 3D numerical model has been created, and a software with explicit solver (LS-Dyna) has been used in order to conduct analyses. A simplified modelling method of the blast loading has been utilized, which is based on the consideration of the load effects as a time dependent pressure. Several cases with different mesh size or different finite element formulation are investigated. The results are compared with experimental data based on study of fellow researchers. Match between the numerical analyses and measurements is discussed and considered as satisfying

Revisiting the meaning of the Divine preservation of the Qur’an : With special references to Verse 15:9

In this article, I discuss the topic of Divine preservation of the Qur’an in the context of exegesis verse 15:9: ‘Indeed, it is We who sent down the reminder (dhikr) [i.e., the Qur’an], and indeed, We will be its guardian’. First, I will briefly examine Muslim and non-Muslim perceptions regarding authentic transmission of the Qur’an. I question some Western researchers, who problematise Muslims’ approaches to the history of the Qur’an with various polemics, and the Muslim perception, which compresses the notion of Divine preservation of the Qur’an into the narrow meaning of verse 15:9 with dogmatic and apologetic reflexes. Then, I chronologically analyse interpretations of the verse from linguistic, historical, theological and sociological aspects of the exegeses from the classical period to the modern times. The main argument of this article is centred on verse 15:9, which, in my opinion, deals with the first route of Qur’anic revelation from God to the Prophet through Angel Gabriel, and the Prophet’s perfect memorisation of it together with his flawless transmission to the Companions. The next processes (post-Prophetic developments in transmission of the revelation) were left to the foresight of the Muslim community, ummah. I believe, while the vertical process (revelation from arsh to farsh (heaven to earth) is guaranteed by God, responsibility for the horizontal process (from the Companions to the following generation and so on) is left to the Muslim community. The use of the same Qur’anic text by Sunnis, Shi’ites, Ibadis, etc., from northern Kazakhstan to West Africa, from Asia Pacific to the Balkans, is the clearest proof that Muslims are preserving the book entrusted to them. They demonstrate the reflection of their understanding of tawhid (Oneness of God) in their faith on the Qur’an by their consensus on a single mushaf

Paying attention to human needs in every individual's health cycle results in the healthy community. There is a group of people who are in need of support which are called elderly community. In architecture, not only the principles and standards must be defined, established and observed, but also should defined a certain specific spatial pattern to these individuals. Social sustainability in the broad sense, is synonymous with raising the quality of human life of the present generation and future generation, considering his or her talents and capacities and satisfying the needs of all classes. So, there is an indicator such as increased level of education, social justice and popular participation, etc. The architectural and urban environment is one of the most important elements in relation to the elderly's life. In order to maximize the benefits of the elderly in services and society, elderly life and their spirituality must be carefully analyzed. The present article addresses the needs of the elderly from a social dimension to the public space in a container for social interaction, and seeks to step up awareness and understanding of the perception of nature in order to design an appropriate space architecture for the social interaction of the elderly in their own housing spaces. The applied methodology for the present research is descriptive-analytic, and data collection is library method. The importance of Project Management (PM) cannot be overemphasized. The demand for capable team and project managers to lead IT projects is increasing. PMI is predicting the demand for new entrants into PM is increasing and the demand for project managers will outstrip the demand for other professions over the next decade. However, PM’s perception of which skills are important for success among working professionals has not received much attention. As educators aspire to prepare students for the PM positions and their challenges, they should be aware of the perceptions of working professionals who have experience with many projects that they succeeded or failed about the importance and necessary skills in successfully completion of a project. This proposed research seeks to understand how practicing PM professionals view the relative importance of various technical and soft PM skills and compares those with perceptions of students taking a PM course about importance of PM skills necessary to successfully complete a project. Further, the PM educators will be surveyed about their perceptions of the importance skills necessary in successfully completing a project and should be taught to students. There has not been the integration of research on the required skills with the project management course offered at the undergraduate level. The primary purpose of this research is to fill this gap in the academic research stream. We seek to gain insights into how working professionals, educators and students perceive the required skills needed to be a successful project manager. This research will help align PM course offerings to PM technical and soft skills
