Revisiting the fair value and historical cost and their impact on the financial indicators of the company
Β© Medwell Journals, 2016.The Russian accounting practice is being improved on the basis of international standards of financial accounting. Nevertheless, not all conventions adopted by these standards allow the explicit and correct disclosure of a company financial standing data in the financial statement. It is connected with recognition and assessment of assets and liabilities. The primary recognition is based on the historical cost. The one following it on the fair value, the latter being not quite unprejudiced. There occurs a risk of financial accounting misstatements. As a result of the reassessment by the fair value, both the assets and the liabilities, including the equity capital are changed into the equivalent values. The conclusions in respect of the financial status are based on the financial standing indicators analysis which manifests that the company reporting made in compliance either with the IFRS or with the Russian standards enable to make similar conclusions on the financial standing of the company

Purinergic profiling of regulatory T-cells in patients with episodic migraine

Objectives: Immune responses in migraine are poorly characterized, yet implicated in the disease pathogenesis. This study was carried out to characterize purinergic profiles of T-cells in patients with episodic migraine without aura (MWoA) to provide mechanistic evidence for ATP and adenosine involvement in modulation of immune regulation in migraine. Methods: Peripheral blood samples were obtained from patients with migraine (n = 16) and age-matched control subjects (n = 21). Subsets of T-cells were identified by flow cytometry based on specific membrane markers. Results: Migraine patients showed reduced total T-cell counts in the peripheral blood. Whereas the total number of CD3+CD4+, CD3+CD8+, or regulatory T lymphocytes (Treg) was not changed, the proportion of Treg CD45R0+CD62Lβ and CD45R0βCD62Lβ cells was increased. Interestingly, in migraine, less Treg cells expressed CD39 and CD73 suggesting disrupted ATP breakdown to adenosine. The negative correlations were observed between the duration of migraine and the relative number of CD73+CD39β Tregs and total number of CD73-positive CD45R0+CD62L+ Tregs. Conclusion: Obtained data indicate that T-cell populations are altered in episodic migraine and suggest the involvement of Tregs in the pathophysiology of this disorder. Reduced expression of CD39 and CD73 suggests promotion of ATP-dependent pro-inflammatory and reduction of adenosine-mediated anti-inflammatory mechanisms in migraine

To evaluate correlation between brain structural damages and radiation exposure level for the Chernobyl nuclear power plant accident liquidators, routine and diffusion tensor magnetic resonance imaging methods are efficient to visualize and evaluate those damages; it is also important to compare magnetic resonance imaging data of liquidators with results, received for people of the same age and the same stage of cerebral vascular disease (the discirculatory encephalopathy of I and II stage), but who did not participate in the Chernobyl accident liquidation and did not suffer from other liquidation factors and radiation catastrophe aftermaths. As a result, the Chernobyl accident liquidators group (49 subjects) and group of control (50 subjects) were examined with routine magnetic resonance imaging methods and standard protocols. In addition, the innovative method of diffusion tensor magnetic resonance imaging was applied to examine 11 cerebral tracts, bilaterally (22 tracts in both hemispheres) for every subject of the research. It was for the first time when diffusion tensor magnetic resonance imaging was applied to conduct visual analysis of polymorphic brain changes for the Chernobyl accident liquidators and special research conducted to find correlation between fractional anisotropy coefficient and radiation exposure for these patients. The results of diffusion tensor magnetic resonance imaging indicated no statistically significant (p > 0,05) difference in the level of cerebral morphological changes and between average fraction anisotropy coefficient value in any cerebral tract for both sub-groups of liquidators with different level of irradiation: 28 subjects, who were exposed by low and very low radiation doses (0β100 micro-Sv, sub-group A) and 21 subjects, who were exposed by mean radiation doses (100β1000 micro-Sv, sub-group B). However, comparing diffusion tensor magnetic resonance imaging results of control group and liquidators group, statistically significant (p < 0,05) reduction of average fraction anisotropy coefficient was detected in frontal and temporal lobes. Aim: Studying, statistical processing and classification of complications that arose after breast augmentation with silicone gel implants.Material and methods. Complex clinic-radiological examination of 590 women after a breast augmentation with silicone gel implants was performed. Various complications after breast augmentation were diagnosed in 223 (37.8%) cases. Radiology examination included X-ray mammography, ultrasound and magnetic resonance imaging (X-ray, US and MRI).Results. The analysis of the data obtained allowed us to divide all the identified complications of breast augmentation into 3 groups depending on the etiology and pathogenesis of their occurrence.Conclusion.
