The relativistic impulse approximation for the exclusive electrodisintegration of the deuteron
The electrodisintegration of the deuteron in the frame of the Bethe-Salpeter
approach with a separable kernel of the nucleon-nucleon interaction is
considered. This conception keeps the covariance of a description of the
process. A comparison of relativistic and nonrelativistic calculations is
presented. The factorization of the cross section of the reaction in the
impulse approximation is obtained by analytical calculations. It is shown that
the photon-neutron interaction plays an important role.Comment: 31 pages, 14 figures, 1 tabl
Residents’ interest to form a “green” territory brand
The main aim of this article is to examine the residents’ interest of a region to form a territorial “green” brand. It refers to the region of Rostov where there is a continuous attempt to develop the territory based on sustainable green initiatives.
The article reveals if the residents are aware on the authorities’ efforts and how the population supports the initiatives as well as how active the residents are to develop the territory.
The results of this research allow to forecast the success of the “green” brand formation with certain correction of the priorities concerning the informational and communication work to explain the significance of the given process to the residents and possibly the improvement of the population’s standard of living.peer-reviewe
Magnetothemopower study of quasi two-dimensional organic conductor -(BEDT-TTF)KHg(SCN)
We have used a low-frequency magneto-thermopower (MTEP) method to probe the
high magnetic field ground state behavior of
-(BEDT-TTF)KHg(SCN) along all three principal crystallographic
axes at low temperatures. The thermopower tensor coefficients (
and ) have been measured to 30 T, beyond the anomalous low temperature,
field-induced transition at 22.5 T. We find a significant anisotropy in the
MTEP signal, and also observe large quantum oscillations associated with the de
Haas - van Alphen effect. The anisotropy indicates that the ground state
properties are clearly driven by mechanisms that occur along specific
directions for the in-plane electronic structure. Both transverse and
longitudinal magnetothermopower show asymptotic behavior in field, which can be
explained in terms of magnetic breakdown of compensated closed orbits.Comment: 9 pages, 10 figure
Partial level density of the n-quasiparticle excitations in the nuclei of the 39< A <201 region
Level density and radiative strength functions are obtained from the analysis
of two-step cascades intensities following the thermal neutrons capture. The
data on level density are approximated by the sum of the partial level
densities corresponding to n quasiparticles excitation. The most probable
values of the collective enhancement factor of the level density are found
together with the thresholds of the next Cooper nucleons pair breaking. These
data allow one to calculate the level density of practically any nucleus in
given spin window in the framework of model concepts, taking into account all
known nuclear excitation types. The presence of an approximation results
discrepancy with theoretical statements specifies the necessity of rather
essentially developing the level density models. It also indicates the
possibilities to obtain the essentially new information on nucleon correlation
functions of the excited nucleus from the experiment.Comment: 29 pages, 8 figures, 2 table
Improving the efficiency of university management : teacher’s performance monitoring as a tool to promote the quality of education
This study aims to examine the essence of education monitoring, its place in the higher education management system and the practical implementation of teacher’s performance monitoring as a tool to promote the quality of education.
The article considers theoretical aspects of monitoring as a tool to promote the quality of education, assesses the performance of the university departments, research and teaching staff and discusses the results and suggestions on how to improve monitoring activities in higher education.
Based on their research and findings, the authors claimed that the monitoring of the performance of the university research and teaching staff on the base of an indicator system in terms of education, methodology, research, organization and counselling services would lead to valid conclusions as to the effective performance of both individual researchers and teachers and university departments, in general.peer-reviewe
Regge Field Theory in zero transverse dimensions: loops versus "net" diagrams
Toy models of interacting Pomerons with triple and quaternary Pomeron
vertices in zero transverse dimension are investigated. Numerical solutions for
eigenvalues and eigenfunctions of the corresponding Hamiltonians are obtained,
providing the quantum solution for the scattering amplitude in both models. The
equations of motion for the Lagrangians of the theories are also considered and
the classical solutions of the equations are found. Full two-point Green
functions ("effective" Pomeron propagator) and amplitude of diffractive
dissociation process are calculated in the framework of RFT-0 approach. The
importance of the loops contribution in the amplitude at different values of
the model parameters is discussed as well as the difference between the models
with and without quaternary Pomeron vertex.Comment: 34 pages, 36 figure
An efficient strategy for the development of tourism at regional level
Tourism promotes the development of small and medium-sized business, an increase in employment and self-employment, and allows smoothing the disproportions of territorial development.
The objective of this work is to study the modern state of the tourism industry and to reveal the strategical development trends of tourism in the regions of the Southern Federal District (SFD).
The statistical data of Rosstat (Federal Service of State Statistics), Federal Agency for Tourism, the database of the EMISS (Unified Interdepartmental Statistical Information System) and other open sources of information were used as the sources of secondary information.
The practical part of the research is based upon the application of the author’s method of estimation of the current state of the tourism industry in the regions that presupposes the calculation of the complex index of tourism development in the region.
The results of the performed research allowed classifying the regions according to the level of tourism development and determining the strategies of competitiveness improvement of the regional touristic products on its base.peer-reviewe
Investment instruments to stimulate depressed regions’ development
There are a number of problems of regional development, including tgose that impress most of all – the growing differentiation and polarization of the regions’ development. It caused the emergence of so called depressed territories with the level of social and economic development being the lowest among the territories of this type. In this context, it is quite urgent to stimulate the development of depressed territories, in particular, the development and efficient use of investment instruments in this process.
This research aims at stipulating investment instruments to support the development of depressed regions. The article considers theoretical grounds of the emergence and functioning of depressed regions, foreign experience on financial support for the depressed territories’ development.
Based on experts’ survey, investment instruments to support the development of depressed regions are stipulated, peculiarities of forming priorities of developing depressed regions are specified, an algorithm for selecting top priority areas for economic activity in the depressed region is offered, a generalized system of financial instruments to stimulate the development of priorities for sustainable development of the depressed region is given, and consequences of applying them in the region are characterized.peer-reviewe
Effect of electron irradiation on vortex dynamics in YBa_2Cu_3O_{7-x} single crystals
We report on drastic change of vortex dynamics with increase of quenched
disorder: for rather weak disorder we found a single vortex creep regime, which
we attribute to a Bragg-glass phase, while for enhanced disorder we found an
increase of both the depinning current and activation energy with magnetic
field, which we attribute to entangled vortex phase. We also found that
introduction of additional defects always increases the depinning current, but
it increases activation energy only for elastic vortex creep, while it
decreases activation energy for plastic vortex creep.Comment: 4 pages, 3 figures, submited to Phys. Rev.
SANC integrator in the progress: QCD and EW contributions
Modules and packages for the one-loop calculations at partonic level
represent the first level of SANC output computer product. The next level
represents Monte Carlo integrator mcsanc, realizing fully differential hadron
level calculations (convolution with PDF) for the HEP processes at LHC. In this
paper we describe the implementation into the framework mcsanc first set of
processes: DY NC, DY CC, ff->HW(Z) and single top production. Both EW and QCD
NLO corrections are taken into account. A comparison of SANC results with those
existing in the world literature is given
