Influence of experimental metabolic syndrome on bioimpedance spectroscopy indicators of rat body

The objective of this experiment was to establish sex-related differences in the parameters of bioimpedance spectroscopy of the Wistar rat’s bodies in the experimental metabolic syndrome (endocrine-salt model). Sexual dependencies of bioimpedance measurements in intact animals have been determined for the first time: males have higher amount of total fluid, but lower one of total fat. The intra/extracellular fluid balance in males is characterized with ratio  2:1, while in females is the other one - 1:1. For the first time the formation of the metabolic syndrome has already been determined on the seventh day in females which lead to decreasing in the percentage of total fat and to changing  of the intra / extracellular fluid balance to ‘male’ type -  2:1. The last one should be considered as a sign of intracellular hyperhydration. In males the examined parameters have been being within the control values ​​throughout 21 days of experiment

Speech Behavior of British Politicians in Discussion of Brexit: Pragmatics, Gender and Communicative Dominance in Political Media Discourse

The article deals with the study of male and female speech behavior of British parliamentarians in the discussion of Brexit problems by various mass media. It is emphasized that the need to study the gender specifics of the speech behavior of women and men politicians commenting on Brexit in order to attract public attention is due to the extreme importance of media discourse. It determines the “agenda” of both an individual and various social institutions of modern society, on the one hand, and growing research interest in gender discourse studies, on the other. It is shown that institutionalization and ritualization form the basis of the gender manifestation of each individual’s belonging to a particular gender, and the generation and use of discourse cannot be studied outside the gender factor. The novelty and purpose of the study is to identify and analyze the complex linguistic gender specificity of the speech behavior of British politicians in political media discourse. The results of the analysis of the morphological, semantic and stylistic specifics of the speech behavior of British parliamentarians, when discussing Brexit in political media discourse in accordance with the gender of politicians are presented. Prevention and diagnosis of osteoporosis in patients with type 1 diabetes in real clinical practice

In the Russian Federation, as in all countries of the world, there is a significant increase in the spread of diabetes mellitus. The most dangerous consequences of the global diabetes epidemic are its systemic vascular complications - nephropathy, retinopathy, damage to the main vessels of the heart, brain, lower limb arteries. At the same time, doctors are increasingly turning their attention to impaired calcium-phosphorus metabolism in diabetes. Diabetic damage to bone tissue is combined with osteoporotic processes occurring in it, which ultimately lead to fractures and disability of patients.В Российской Федерации, как и во всех странах мира, отмечается значительный рост распространения сахарного диабета (СД). Самыми опасными последствиями глобальной эпидемии СД являются его системные сосудистые осложнения – нефропатия, ретинопатия, поражение магистральных сосудов сердца, головного мозга, артерий нижних конечностей. Региональные особенности современных изменений зимней аккумуляции снега на севере Евразии по данным наблюдений, реанализа и спутниковых измерений

The paper presents data on winter snow accumulation on the Russian territory obtained from different sources: ground measurements of snow depth on meteorological stations, water snow equivalent calculated from data of route surveys, reanalysis, and satellite observations. Three large regions were isolated which are distinguished by characters of the snow depth fluctuations and their long-term tendencies. Comparison of the trends calculated from data of reanalysis and satellite measurements demonstrated essential disagreement of them with data of in situ observations.Рассматриваются данные о зимней аккумуляции снега на территории России из разных источников: наземных наблюдений за толщиной снежного покрова на метеостанциях; водного эквивалента снега по данным маршрутной съёмки, а также реанализа и спутниковых измерений. Выделено три крупных района, отличающихся по характеру колебаний толщины снега и их многолетним тенденциям. Сравнение этих трендов, полученных по данным реанализа и спутниковых измерений, указывает на их существенные расхождения с данными наблюдений
