A pályázat keretĂ©ben bizonyĂtottuk, hogy a rádiĂłfrekvenciás termikus plazmareaktorban hatĂ©konyan Ă©s gyorsan lehet előállĂtani kĂĽlönleges tulajdonságĂş Ă©s morfolĂłgiájĂş mikro- Ă©s nanoporokat. Tisztáztuk a mikro- Ă©s nanoporok olvadĂ©k-gáz Ă©s gáz-gĹ‘zfázisĂş reakciĂłkban törtĂ©nĹ‘ előállĂtásának több kĂ©miai Ă©s kinetikai kĂ©rdĂ©sĂ©t. Feltártuk az RF termikus plazmában vĂ©gzett anyagszintĂ©zis körĂĽlmĂ©nyei Ă©s a reakciĂłtermĂ©kek összetĂ©tel, szerkezete Ă©s tulajdonságai közötti kapcsolatok számos rĂ©szletĂ©t. MegkezdtĂĽk azokat az alkalmazástechnikai kutatásokat, amelyek a jelen pályázat keretĂ©ben szerzett Ăşj ismeretek Ă©s az itt előállĂtott nanoanyagok gyakorlati hasznosĂtásának elĹ‘kĂ©szĂ-tĂ©sĂ©re irányulnak. | We proved in the project that the radiofrequency thermal plasma reactor is a suitable tool to produce micro- and nanopowders of special properties and morphology at high production rate. We answered several important chemical and kinetical questions related to the synthesis of micro- and nanopowders by high-temperature liquid-gas and vapor-phase reactions. We revealed some details of connections among conditions of materials synthesis in RF thermal plasma and the composition, structure and properties of reaction products. We started application tests aiming at practical implementation of knowledge acquired in the project and also at producing advanced functional materials from thermal plasma powders
Diabetológiai kérdőjelek = Questions in diabetology to be elucidated
A cardiovascularis kĂłrkĂ©pek gyĂłgyĂtásában elĂ©rt eredmĂ©nyek ellenĂ©re a szĂv-Ă©r rendszeri megbetegedĂ©sek gyakorisága a fejlett Ă©s fejlĹ‘dĹ‘ világban növekszik. Ez a tĂ©ny összefĂĽgg a világmĂ©retű elhĂzás-, illetve diabetespandĂ©miával, valamint az Ăşgynevezett urbanizált Ă©letforma tĂ©rhĂłdĂtásával. A szerzĹ‘k ismertetik a civilizáciĂłs Ă©letforma Ă©s a krĂłnikus stressz összefĂĽggĂ©sĂ©t, valamint a következmĂ©nyes Ă©letforma-változások, szĂv-Ă©r rendszeri kockázatnövekedĂ©s Ă©rveit. Továbbá megfogalmazzák a cardiovascularis kockázatcsökkentĂ©s mai gyakorlatának (polipill-alkalmazás, Ăşgynevezett cĂ©lĂ©rtĂ©kek elĂ©rĂ©se) kritikáját. HangsĂşlyozzák a cardiovascularis kockázati tĂ©nyezĹ‘k következmĂ©nyes termĂ©szetĂ©t, ebbĹ‘l adĂłdĂłan a kockázati faktor csökkentĂ©sĂ©re irányulĂł kezelĂ©s mĂ©rsĂ©kelt hatásfokát. Kiemelik az oki kezelĂ©s (Ă©letmĂłd-intervenciĂłk, krĂłnikus stresszkezelĂ©s) elvi elsĹ‘bbrendűsĂ©gĂ©t a gyĂłgyszeres intervenciĂłkkal szemben. Tárgyalják a macroangiopathia Ă©s a microangiopathia patogenezisĂ©nek azonos Ă©s eltĂ©rĹ‘ jegyeit. Ismertetik a krĂłnikus stressz szerepĂ©t a diabetes kialakulásában, valamint a krĂłnikus stressz lĂ©trejöttĂ©nek kiváltĂł okait. Tárgyalják a metabolikus szindrĂłma, a 2-es tĂpusĂş diabetes hátterĂ©ben levĹ‘ anyagcserezavar (diszmetabolizmus) lĂ©tĂ©t támogatĂł experimentális Ă©s klinikai adatokat, hangsĂşlyozzák a nem ischaemiás diabeteses cardiomyopathia önállĂł cardiovascularis kockázati faktorának szerepĂ©t. RĂ©szletezik a diabeteses cardiovascularis kockázatcsökkentĂ©s lehetĹ‘sĂ©geit: hangsĂşlyozzák a magas vĂ©rnyomás, a hyperlipidaemia csökkentĂ©sĂ©nek hatĂ©konyságát szemben a vĂ©rcukorcsökkentĂ©s mĂ©rsĂ©keltebb hatásosságával. Orv. Hetil., 2011, 152, 1353–1361.

Despite advances in the management of cardiovascular diseases, the incidence of cardiovascular diseases is increasing both in developed and developing world. This phenomenon is associated with the worldwide pandemic of obesity and type 2 diabetes; both are related to the life style of urbanization. The association between life conduct of civilization and chronic stress resulting in augmentation of cardiovascular risk is detailed. Therapeutic policy practiced nowadays (polypill administration, achieving target values) in order to reduce cardiovascular risk is criticized. Primary causal role of chronic stress and life style, and secondary resultant nature of cardiovascular risk factors are stressed out in the pathogenesis of increased cardiovascular risk; therefore, limited value of an approach focusing on the management of cardiovascular risk factors, instead of targeting the primary cause, i.e. chronic stress and life conduct is emphasized. A short account is given about the similarities and dissimilarities in the pathogenesis of macro- and microangiopathy. The primary causal role of chronic stress in fetal and adult diabetes, furthermore possible triggers evoking chronic stress is discussed. Supportive experimental and clinical data are reported about the nature of basic metabolic dysregulation (dysmetabolism) in the pathogenesis of metabolic syndrome and type 2 diabetes. Besides the well documented significance of ischemic clinical manifestations of diabetes, the role of non-ischemic diabetic cardiomyopathy as an independent risk factor in evoking the total burden of cardiovascular risk in diabetes is emphasized. In reducing the cardiovascular risk in diabetics the management of high blood pressure and dyslipidemia is more effective compared to that of hyperglycemia. Besides managing cardiovascular risk factors, the successful treatment of dysmetabolism is importantly needed to eliminate the total excessive cardiovascular risk in diabetes. In order to achieve this goal the potential role of metabolic promoters is stressed out. Orv. Hetil., 2011, 152, 1353–1361
